Evening, turtle-ites! Alex here with a twofold post -- the Yard Sale OOC announcement combined with the game's CR meme! We've put them together to reduce clutter in the OOC comm and give one central space in which to plot shenanigans. We'll kick it off with the event summary, then head straight into the meme fun. 8D

Yard Sale
With the rationing being lifted the morning of July 20th, kedan all over Keeliai are going to take to the streets and rejoice in a very unique way. Festival? Nah! Banquet? Been there, done that! City-wide yard sale? OMG YES. This event will run from July 21st - 27th.

What does this mean?
This means that the streets of Keeliai shall become flooded with hastily built stalls, swifly lain carpets, and tables that have been ported outside for the sake of laying out wares that have been long hoarded during the stingiest days of the rationing. Foreigners and kedan alike are encouraged to both sell anything that tickles their fancy as well as peruse the wide varieties of, well, everything on offer. These are the fruits from months of carefully setting aside bits, pieces, and bobs for a rainy day -- only they've brought them out for this happy moment!

And that's it. Really. It's the most epic sidewalk sale that Keeliai has ever seen! A party-style log will be posted on Sunday to kick things off, but first...

What about the darn Tribbles?!
The Tribblepidemic continues throughout the event, with enterprising kedan finding new and inventive uses for the adorable menaces. And Lex fridges a bunch to serve as Tribbletonite against the Supes. They'll still be everywhere, but characters may see them being put to new and unique applications. What kinds of applications? Well... We're taking suggestions! Do you have a way that you'd love to see Tribbles used? Then feel free to make suggestions in the Tribble subheader! (In this post, just below the questions subheader.)

And that's the gist of it! The event is meant to be a winddown after the recent stresses for the characters and a great way for Foreigners to sell off any assets -- or buy some along the way. Feel free to ask any questions that you may have within the subheader provided for in the comments.

When it comes to our CR meme, we do ask that you be as specific as you can! 'Our characters should team up to moon Eshai' is going to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for better than 'omg tag me.'

PERSONALITY: All about fun, pretty much a dork, loves his kidlets and wants to spoil them, expect moar pranks soon.
CURRENT STATUS: He was (reluctantly) set to go into deep freeze hibernation for the rest of the summer but thanks to Bruce and Tony(s) he's gotten his usual Wood suite outfitted as a chill zone. Damian is also working with other Bruce on a mobile version that will allow him to be around and outside in moderation, even in the summer.

CHARACTER: Stocking Anarchy
CANON: Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt
PERSONALITY: RUDE ANGEL! Okay but under that, she's competitive, bossy and haughty, but she actually is intelligent (hold the laughter) and can be useful if someone wrangles her into actually being productive.
CURRENT STATUS: She's... unfortunately not doing much of anything right now. Which I very much want to change. Please come plot with me for her! /grovels

CHARACTER: Raven

PERSONALITY: Quiet, sarcastic, prone to meditation and vowing to never, ever let Beast Boy turn himself into a tribble.
CURRENT STATUS: Just recently arrived and getting used to Keeliai. I'll be putting up an open log for her this weekend but beyond that, I'm open for anything!

PERSONALITY: Royally Messed Up former cop who runs some foreigner-led effort at enforcement
CURRENT STATUS: Javert had a recent run-in with Malicant that left him in really bad shape. He will have some trouble readjusting to turtle life and make every effort not to let it show, despite his frequent space-outs. He has also been commanded to attend medical and therapeutic sessions so he'll be buddying up to Hannibal. A w e s o m e.
CR GOALS: Let's start reeling in more cops! Let's start catching more criminals! Let's start doing all sorts of crap together, I'll frolic in a field, I'll toss him in for some beating up! LESSGO
SCENE-DOS: I am extremely flexible and willing to work with you for any kind of outcome we would like.

YARD SALE: Javert will probably be haggling for some things. He drives a hard bargain and he's pretty firm on what he's willing to spend... but he could really use an explosive amount of tobacco and snuff right now. CHARACTER: Clara "Oswin" Oswald
CANON: Doctor Who
PERSONALITY: Clara is very kind-hearted and playful, but a little distant and doesn't open up easily but eventually people get under her skin. She's passionate about travel, adventure, and baking soufflés and is an avid reader and will gladly chat about all of those things. Sometimes, she's a little too snarky and blunt for her own good but she always means well.
CURRENT STATUS: Clara got injured while on her mission and that's left her a little grumpy. Then on top of that, the Doctor (aka her best friend0 arrived but is before he even met her. So that was tough to deal with, on top of nightmares she's been dealing with. Otherwise, she reads a lot and works at a café.
CR GOALS: ALL THE CR. This is a great time to for me to get CR with Clara because she's a little more vulnerable and therefore inclined to let people in.
SCENE-DOS: I'm pretty open! I like sad threads, happy threads, cute threads, snarky threads EVERYTHING. Clara is pretty snarky tho, so getting into banter with her is always great. I'm also fond of just cute threads where characters get to know each other.
SCENE-DON'TS: Nothing really, though Clara isn't the sort of have negative CR. If she doesn't like someone, she'll ignore them.
YARD SALE: Clara might give away a few books that she's picked up but otherwise she's gonna be shopping!
ADDITIONAL: Clara is a nanny so she has a great inclination to mother people in a strict sort of way. She'll especially do it to young characters.

CHARACTER: Enjolras
CANON: Les Miserables
PERSONALITY: Enjolras is a resolute, quietly determined and fierce leader of one group of fighters in the failed June rebellion in Paris in 1832. He's progressive for the nineteenth century so he's not going to panic if he sees a lady in pants or hears she's been in charge of anything. Miniskirts probably scare him though. And his friends in general, most of the time. Well, Courfeyrac scares him anyway.
CURRENT STATUS: Enjolras's encounter with Malicant has left him with the idea that the torture he received at the shadow being's uh...metaphorical hands is a just punishment for his actions on the barricade in his past life. He condemned himself to a terrible fate as he executed a man and expects that he was given some form of just punishment.

He is not doing well but he will not admit that to his friends and has been avoiding many of the people he knows well, because they will be able to tell that he is not doing well. In his eyes, it would be wrong to seek comfort for something that he deserved and that he views as just a fraction of what should have been dispensed to him besides. So, he's gonna be avoiding his usual friends and it would be good to help him make some new ones!

Enj has been pushing a lot of limits for a while now, with regard to issues of life and death, and he's been a bit more careless lately, with a slightly increased tendency to run off and do impulsive things and I could see this being another catalyst of sorts to create more too.

CR GOALS: See above ^
SCENE-DOS: I tend to go with either style others prefer so I'm okay with prose or brackets. I like emotionally charged things, whether they are sad, hilarious, or somewhere in between, building cross-canon CR though I don't have much yet, and I'm looking to ease Enj into a role where he is gradually able to know more people on the turtle.
SCENE-DON'TS: I prefer fade to black for scenes above a PG-13 level when it comes to romantic stuff, unless I know you really, really well. That said, Enjolras isn't likely to go THERE with anyone but Combeferre, but future reference wise.
YARD SALE:Enjolras will probably attend for reasons of feeling civic duty, etc, though I don't see him staying for long, or anything remarkable happening here. If anyone has an idea, I'd be interested to hear it!

CANON: The Terrible Life Decisions Picture/Confessions of Dorian Gray
PERSONALITY: Victorian gentleman, hedonist, and bad influence. Most famously a bad influence on Dorian Gray. Personal responsibility issues (as in, he never takes any). Beautiful voice, elegant manners, highly educated, finely honed wit. Also a snob.
CURRENT STATUS: Has somehow become a gentleman smuggler and black marketeer with a load of PC contacts and delivery people. The curious and varied saga of his relationship with Dorian continues apace. Has an active social life and a number of friendly acquaintances and friends (and somewhat more in some cases) including but not limited to Alcuin, Bryn, Jack Frost, Steve Rogers, Sabriel, and more. Gilgamesh will be a new contact/trading partner He's going to get a canon update at the next audience, and that's bound to have some fairly serious fallout
CR GOALS: More gentleman black marketeer stuff; some of it should probably bite him on the ass at some point. He could do with another enemy or two. I love both positive and negative CR for him and will never say no to either. Between the possession incident in June and the upcoming canon update, he's going to be kind of a hot mess of repressed emotions, and it's probably going to blow up before too long. It doesn't have to be limited to one explosion, either.
YARD SALE: Obligatory Pet Shop Boys song (which DW won't let me embed in the comments). He'll also be making contacts, socialising, and generally being his usual extroverted self. If you want a chance to meet him at random, this is a good time.

CHARACTER: Una Persson
CANON: Michael Moorcock's Multiverse
PERSONALITY: Time traveller, meddler, optimist, designed for crisis. She's tough and resilient, curious, competent, and adventurous. Sympathises with the underdog. Loves hopeless causes. Experienced as only a quasi-immortal time traveller can be.
CURRENT STATUS: Part of Iorveth's Team Malicant ASS thanks Roy and increasingly up to her neck in that. Worked with Vanessa, Catty, Traci, and Iorveth to try and find the source of the drug Dust; they didn't succeed in that, but did find and stop a blood sacrifice ring in the Water sector. Friendly with a decent number of people, including Dorian, Bruce Wayne, Bryn, Aisha, Richard, and Sabriel. She's going to continue sticking her nose where it doesn't belong and chasing some unfollowed leads from the clueventure, one of which is going to lead her to Batman.
CR GOALS: Would love to deepen/develop current CR, including interactions with Teen Girl Squad the anti-drugs team from the clueventure. Batstuff. Will probably have her talk to Sabriel again about learning magic. More interactions with other members of Team Malicant and adventures with as well. Action Girl stuff! And in general, she needs to meet more people, probably, and that's mostly me getting my butt in gear.
YARD SALE: She'll be seeing the sights and using this mostly as an opportunity to get around and socialise and meet people, and also be nosy.

SCENE-DOS: I'm open to all the things. I'll backtag forever, but am always happy to hand-wave if people get busy or run out of steam or whatever. I like tidy endings to scenes eventually. I like rambly talk-about-whatever conversations that set up relationships and establish facts. In scenes that have been specifically set up with a plan to cover certain amounts of plot/information, I'm a big fan of fast-forwarding to the meaty bits of the conversation and then fading out once that's been achieved (though if it turns out that going on is the thing to do, I'm good with that too.) Basically I'll say Yes to just about anything, as long as it's fun. Anytime you want to throw someone at one of my guys in an open thread, DO IT. You will be welcome.
SCENE-DON'TS: None really? I'll let you know if anything inadvertently goes pear-shaped.

PERSONALITY: Grumpiest grump that ever grumped. Oh, and did he mention that he's a doctor? He's very blunt, honest, and wears his heart on his sleeve pretty much. Despite being a Sassy McSassfayse, he is very compassionate and is all about helping people!
CURRENT STATUS: Making sure he doesn't get stoned by the residents of Tu Vishan after inflicting TRIBBLES on everyone. Also, trying to incorporate himself into Sora's clinic.
CR GOALS: He needs nerdy science people like him to do nerdy science stuff with! NO SPOCKS ALLOWED. And also, just learning about some of the more eccentric and exotic people around Tu Vishan. I want him weirded out, people!!
SCENE-DOS: I'm all about negative and positive reactions. I love just sillyness, srs bzns, fights, whatever. I prefer prose, but I am fine with actionspam. I also prefer face-to-face interaction as well. I enjoy rping things out rather than handwaving them.
SCENE-DON'TS: I'm really up for anything, though any introductions I prefer there to be some kind of goal in mind. It's all well and good to bump into each other and start a conversation, but that isn't gonna get far with Bones and they generally seem to blend together with the same questions and answers. Intros are still fine so long as there is something to do.
YARD SALE: McCoy's interested in weird ingredients, especially those native to Tu Vishan or alien to Earth. He'll also be on tribble clean-up crew around the turtle. Try not to throw TOO many tomatoes at him.

PERSONALITY: Tim tends to be kind of reserved, and is generally the kind of guy that likes to know as much as he can about a situation before acting. He's a good actor, though, and is good at seeming friendly and outgoing while he's mentally sitting back and analyzing the situation.
CURRENT STATUS: Tim was recently in jail with Bart and Kon for an impulsive decision regarding the PSDs. NO REGRETS. He's currently watching the Tribble infestation with a mix of amusement and horror.
CR GOALS: I would love to build on the CR he already has, and I would also love to give him an excuse to get non-canon CR. I feel like he's been really insular, which is... kind of his style, actually, but games are about branching out!
SCENE-DOS: Almost anything goes! I really just want to try to get him out there more!
SCENE-DON'TS: HOWEVER. Unless there's a really compelling reason for it, I'd like to avoid maiming or killing him right now.
YARD SALE: Tim will probably browse the yard sale, but he's not looking for anything specific, and not selling anything really, either. If he finds tribble-repellent, though, he'll be all over that like seagulls on potato chips at the beach.

CHARACTER: Wally West
CANON: Young Justice
PERSONALITY: Well, to sum it up quickly: hyperactive teen with a heart of gold. He's cocky, flirtatious, and way smart. He's got a (biologically necessary) fondness for food, and he also loves old movies and music. Did I mention he's a superhero? (Who isn't?)
CURRENT STATUS: Currently, Wally is trying to find a good use for his time, apart from the occasional patrols, playing with kedan kiddies, and spending time with his boyfriend.
CR GOALS: I have no set goals in mind, really, but this seems like a good as place as any to bounce my one idea. Based on his most recent log, I was thinking it could be fun if Wally set up some sort of exercise club for people. Nothing formal, but just having a group for people to gather and have fun. It could be used as training as well, if some people wanna learn different ways to defend themselves. The only drawback is that Wally is 16, not exactly teacher material, and his knowledge is kind of limited to his own experience.
SCENE-DOS: I'm good with almost everything.
SCENE-DON'TS: He's not available for anything romantic and most simple-talking-back-and-forth scenarios can lose interest quickly for me in logs.
YARD SALE: No plans as of yet, so if you have anything you think Wally'd be good for, I'm open to throwing him in there.

I still want Wally and Traci to hang out. They seem like the type who'd have fun doing what they do together or otherwise, and she's already fond of his boyfriend (in a completely platonic manner) so yeah.

CHARACTER: Charles Xavier

CANON: X-Men First Class

PERSONALITY: Charles is a true believer in the philosophy that power comes from knowledge and understanding. That the best way to combat fear is through education and that all effort should be made to settle conflict without resorting to violent options.

CURRENT STATUS: Charles was on Team 14 during the last Malicant plot and had a chance to scan the minds of Waxu and also Malicant sympathizers. Though he did not learn much beyond what the police later learned from Waxu himself, Charles is definitely focused on continuing to aid the police in this matter. He also pushed himself, physically, too far and has landed himself on bed rest and some cautious use of a wheelchair until the muscles of his back recover. As such, he has a lot of time at the moment to be thinking and also to be slinking around telepathically more than he might do so when he is actually mobile.

He’s also considering the wisdom of trying to contact the turtle, telepathically. Because that can only end well.

CR GOALS: I would really love to have CR that works with further investigating Malicant and Asti, to try to find ways the Foreigners can help support the turtle and the kedan. He’d like to work on strengthening Foreigner & kedan relations as well as speak more directly with the palace.

Friends would also be good! I’d love some more ‘personal’ CR for him.

SCENE-DOS: I’m open to everything. Action or prose, I like network and logs equally as makes sense for the scene and the characters.

SCENE-DON'TS: If we talk about it first, there isn’t much I won’t give a shot, at least once!

YARD SALE: Charles doesn’t have much to sell but he’ll probably be there, people watching mostly, possibly brain creeping if allowed and if there are any books for sale he’ll be quick to put down coin for those!

PERSONALITY: Eleven year old who was trained an assassin and raised to rule the world until he was ten. Not nice, but has been growing into mostly decent, and has a soft spot for children. And he's taken up his father's mission of protecting those who need protection well enough to heart. (Also very good at fighting and strategy and languages and music and art and decent-ish in detective work and tactics.) He may, on occasion, be a walking, talking trigger for child abuse.
CURRENT STATUS: Damian is... a bit of a mess, but he's slowly been muscling his way towards becoming a better person. Mostly thanks to Kyle and bitty Dick and Jack. And maybe a bit Dinah. He's finally back on the track that (his) Dick set out for him, and some things are making more sense than they used to. So he's learning, soaking information in. Getting to work with people and reacting to them in slightly more human ways. And he's... battening the hatches against the storms that he has no doubt are coming in.
CR GOALS: There are a few things for Damian to deal with up and coming, mostly with Kyle AND Dick getting more serious about relationships? Because the kid has issues. But, other than that, he'll try to be the voice of reason when he can (ha, ha) about the whole Powers vs. No Powers thing. And. Help wherever he can. This last month has been sort of intense, so being more loose about the next month sounds like a plan to me. >.> But I'm open for just about anything!
SCENE-DOS: Pretty much anything. Teaching Damian lessons (they don't have to be taught nicely either) is always a go, but far from limited to that. Seeking out/figuring clues about the situation, adventures, just about everything. (He's unlikely to subject easily to fluff, but anything's possible.)
SCENE-DON'TS: As usual, no angst for only angst's sake (some of it happens, and that's okay! Beautiful even. Just not making it the focus of stuff). No 'ships (yet), because eleven. ;)
YARD SALE: ... Damian will be stalking and maybe buying pieces of salvage that he can use, especially to improve the contraption he's making for Jack. If things potentially go, after this app round, as they might, he'll be off out of the city, probably towards the turtle's backend, burning tribbles with fire, however.

CHARACTER: Bucky Barnes
CANON: MCU
PERSONALITY: Outgoing, determined, ladies' man, and a little sharp, Bucky's an orphan from Brooklyn who grew up with the man who was to become Captain America, became a soldier (and part of a special team) during WWII, and then... fell off a train. He's also been around since August, and he's working hard on bridging up the information and technology gap.
CURRENT STATUS: He's gotten possessed, electrocuted to get that out, and then sort-of-electrocuted badly as getting-out-of-hostage again. And he's recovering. Oddly enough, though far from well, he's steadier mentally than he has been in a while.
CR GOALS: I want to get him a bit more involved again? A lot of the threads I have currently (other than the people who tagged Bucky's post, will get on that shortly!) so, he may be poking around at people. And. Dealing with tribbles. Because WHAT?
SCENE-DOS: I'm good with just about anything. Teach a 1940s soldier about more modern things - and attitudes - sure. Those who are further behind learning from him or alongside? Sure. Spoiler him for what's to come... yep (though he thinks he's got that covered, now). Slice of life, action, romance, fighting, sadtimes, humor, positive CR, not-so-positive... You name it. I'll likely do it. Both action and prose are also absolutely fine.

PERSONALITY: Toph is a sassy, sarcastic person with lots of bravado (that she can actually live up to). She's not afraid to take just about anything head-on. Prone to breaking rules and other shenanigans.
CURRENT STATUS: Toph was very much affected by the loss of powers event, because for her it meant losing her sight as well as the earthbending that she absolutely prides herself on. She made a post requesting martial arts training; she is determined not to be helpless if that ever happens again. She's pretty gleeful at this point, though, to have it all back.
CR GOALS: I really want to continue to expand Toph's CR network and go more in-depth with the CR she has.
SCENE-DOS: I can do a bit of everything, and I love variety.
SCENE-DON'TS: I'll admit, I have a hard time writing slice-of-life threads unless there's some kind of purpose to it. (And the definition of "purpose" can be pretty broad for me, but basically I need to figure out a goal for that kind of thing -- either physical or emotional.) I have a hard time talking about the weather irl, so effectively doing the same thing icly tends to burn me out fast. ^^;;
YARD SALE: Toph will probably be doing some kedan scamming, because assuredly scammers will also be drawn to this event. She may also do silly things like use her earthbending to launch tribbles onto unsuspecting people's heads. (Hey, don't look at her; she didn't do it. Just an innocent blind girl over here.)

PERSONALITY: James is your average stuffy somethingth century Navy Admiral who moonlights crewing pirate ships (ONE TIME). He's having quite the struggle adapting to Tu Vishan, which is weird because he finally came around to accepting cursed pirates and magic compasses and giant squids back home. Still, every time he encounters something new, he gets all stuffy and shocked and says very british things like "good lord!" and "my word." He is consistently disgruntled and 10000000% done with all your shit, especially you gavroche, yeah you, take a bath you dirty hippykid.

Also he's trying to build a boat to escape the turtle. As one does.
CURRENT STATUS: See above: BOAT. All are welcome to help build the boat.

Also, James has recently become more accepting(ish) of things like dragons and sea people with gills. He's not having quiet british hysterics anymore, at least.

May or may not have a highly repressed crush on a werewolf. (So repressed even he doesn't know it's there.)

PERSONALITY: Cinna is basically the second nicest person in a canon of deeply disturbed and not nice people. Spoiler alert: Nice people die. He's nice. That's his entire personality, nicest nicer ever to nice in niceville. Also, he makes pretty fashion in a cave with bucket of scraps.
CURRENT STATUS: Cinna came here immediately post torture and death, so he's not in the best headspace atm. (Therapy with Dr. Lecter is totally going to make that all better though.) Basically, while Cinna seems fine on the outside (calm, composed, able to sew pretty dresses in a single bound) he's prone to panic attacks and residual trauma from what he went through before his arrival. He's not repressing it exactly, he's aware of his trauma, but he hasn't expressed it to anyone or allowed himself to experience the feelings, so... that's healthy.
CR GOALS: Someone please help Cinna.

CURRENT STATUS: basically just being very, very glad to have his portal-making powers back after the whole malicant thing. ever the scientist and scholar, he's still helping out at the hydroponics garden in between his own very personal, very secret studies.
CR GOALS: cultivating ongoing cr, as well as making some more new friendsies. he makes a good obi-wan kenobi-esque mentor, so if anyone's looking for that sort of relationship, you've got an old wise guy (not necessarily a wiseguy) practically tailor-made for the job.

CHARACTER: Gilgamesh (Archer)
CANON: Fate/
PERSONALITY:
Gilgamesh is based loosely on, you guessed it, Gilgamesh from The Epic of Gilgamesh. Given that tidbit of knowledge, the obvious can be guessed about him: Gilgamesh is a hedonist, he possesses great hubris, and he is a temperamental tyrant who ruled oppressively and tyrannically for years until his own people begged the Gods to give him an equal to contend with, instead. As you can guess, he's not a nice person - nor is he a good one. He's sexist, moralistically challenged, etc. However, he is an Old World Hero, which means he essentially participated in feats that were beyond mortal comprehension at the time, such as punching a monster with the face of a thousand nightmares figuratively in the maw. Or going off the rails in grief and journeying into the underworld to seek out immortality. Mytho-historical things tend to be like that.

Anyway, that aside: He's a fickle, secretly bitter, and often cruel person, but he can and will carry on conversation when he finds himself interested. He tends to enjoy people who hold to unrealistic ideals or people who strive beyond the restrictions of humanity. He's lofty, but he's definitely got a keen eye for individuals who would display traits of those kind of pursuits and behaviors. However, pushing him beyond "neutral" about a character is understandably just as frightening as invoking his wrath, so I tend to give ample warning that he does tend to start playing hideous games with people - such as manipulating them toward what he'd like to see. Or, you know, facilitating risings and downfalls. This kind of interest is rare, mind, but not entirely impossible. He's more likely to just talk to others, so long as they don't tread on him. He expects respect, and expects also to be recognized for who he is. He's, notably, got a very short fuse when pressed the wrong way (which, really, is set off by lack of respect and demands ten to one). He's emotionally inaccessible, stubborn, and discovery of his name won't pay you too many favors if you start uttering names that don't, uh, belong uttered.

In either case, he's fond of his wine and fond of weaponry/curios. And, not to mistake his arrogance with idiocy, he's actually quite intelligent. All hot blood aside, he can talk a mean talk about, say, the philosophy of hedonism. He can talk about ruling styles. Similarly, he likes new and peculiar information, especially if it comes in the form of a person or an object of value (or, rather, what he considers to be of value). He can talk about people in general, too. He's a bit of shit-stirrer, obviously, and he gets bored very easily. He likes dirt on people he's invested in, and people who are peripherally related to them. You know, for his own purposes.

Anyway, he's good with puzzling out individuals. He's dangerous, but if you hold him at an arm's length with respect, he's less potent. That aside, he's very desirous - which is to say he will go right on ahead and flirt with others (and so on), if they catch his eye. Gender has zero bearing on this probability.

BUT: There's a huge list of triggers that go with this individual (here). Please consider them carefully before pursuing CR with him, because I would like you all to be comfortable!

CURRENT STATUS:
He is currently selling some pretty bangin' wine out of the back of Kotomine Kirei's church. You can see some more information about it, here. He won't be hiring anyone (obviously), but I'd love to build up a base and some interlinked networks. He's currently gonna partner up with/trade with Henry, so if you're ever curious about the source of some of it? Here's one. That aside, he's more settled now that the dear turtle isn't ill and he's got access to his powers in some capacity, again. So, he's less... Aggressive? HAHA, yeah, that's not saying a whole lot. At least he's not super disgusted anymore. Still disgusted, though, to be sure. You can look for him later - he'll be the one wearing the ridiculous quantities of gold.

CR GOALS:
I'd like anything, really. Positive, negative, neutral -- I'm not at all picky, though I'll admit that I'd like for him to take interest in someone, though this banks a lot on certain presentations of traits. I'd like to get his usual song and dance started, in order to pick up momentum about how hideous a person he actually is, really. Want someone to play manipulation chess with? He's your guy.

SCENE-DOS:
I could literally go on forever about what I'd like for him. I'm a very plot-oriented person and prefer whatever suits the needs at the time in terms of writing styles. However, what I would most like is someone who is willing to build up to drinking acquaintance CR with him, someone who would take the time to puzzle out his name (because he will not tell you he is Gilgamesh), someone who is willing to be foolish enough to spit out things they really shouldn't (re: certain names), someone who is willing to join in with the Church of Wine Running and Dirt Digging, someone who would like to be manipulated by said church in order to cause nasty schisms... I'd also like several someones he could have casual "flings" with. On the other hand, I'd love for him to get knocked down a peg or two, I'd love to find him someone he'd actually fight seriously, I'd love for him to find someone he'd respect, and I'd really like (eventually) some kind of overarching consequences for his actions. He'll eventually, and inevitably, end up doing far too much not to warrant them. So, repercussions? Please. I'd love them.

SCENE-DON'TS:
The only thing I will not play out is already listed in his warnings. Otherwise? Please. Give me your grand, your hideous, your typical.

He'll be poking around, actually. He'll be seeing if anything is out on the streets that is worthy of his interest, whether it be people or items. He looks most primarily for high-quality items. CURRENT STATUS: He's been settling in decently by now and after being involved in the Malicant plot, he's more interested in learning more about the place than he was previously. There's not a whole lot going on aside from that, but I'd like to change that.
CR GOALS: Definitely someone to do investigative type things with. Any kind of CR, positive or negative that could shake him out of his reserved, stoic self would be an absolute dream. I would also adore for someone to out him as the revolutionary he is deep inside, even if that might take a while and/or require some plotting.
SCENE-DOS: Although I can prose with the best of them, I prefer action spam for speed. I would also prefer some kind of direction with the thread, even if it's slice-of-life material.

PERSONALITY: Tommy is a impatient, cocky ex-con with a heart of gold. Pfft, but no, seriously, he's a speedster, so he's incredibly impatient and irritable around slower people, and spends a lot of his time running around expending all his energy and trying to eat as many calories as he can afford. He likes to insult people and is sort of a dick because he has the option of a fast getaway. His trust is hard to gain, but once you DO get it, he's pretty loyal, but don't even ask him about his feelings or holding hands because Tommy Shepherd does NOT have feelings or holds hands (he does).
CURRENT STATUS: With his powers back, a lady to smooch and his not!mom feeding him up with magical rations? Tommy's pretty good right now :] He's probably going to go back to training and working out to regain the muscle he lost over the time that he was running on empty, as well as back to being a superhero. He's got a lot to think about though! Not having his powers sort of made him question how useful he is without them, and he's been a bit down about it. But's he's significantly less crabby than he has been for the past few months!
CR GOALS: I'd like to get him out and about and become friends with more people! He doesn't talk to a lot of dudes at the moment, mostly because the last group he was friends with disappeared, and he's hesitant to try. But he's going to try and set up a delivery thing to earn extra money since he knows he can use up as much energy as he likes and eat his fill. He's also probably going to set up a speedster race? Maybe? Any takers?
SCENE-DOS: I tend to prefer action tags with Tommy, because they are quicker, but really, I'm good for anything. Angst is always fun, but I've just fixed him so nothing too heavy would be good. uh i mean. Fang is rough around the edges. She's a fierce fighter and has been fighting monsters and saving worlds back when you were still in diapers. She's got a quick, smart tongue, and pretty much flirts with everything with a pretty face and then will get into a bar fight and make you look like a pansy. She's also incredibly loyal, to the point that she'd actually hurt the person she loves to protect them from turning into monsters and is self sacrificing, always thinking she's on her own. She finds it hard to take people's help and will often get herself into situations that are certainly mountains and not molehills.
CURRENT STATUS: At the moment Fang has just finished settling, and hasn't really gotten up to much. She helped train people without powers, and is probably still willing to keep that up if anyone wants to learn hand-to hand combat or wrestle aligators. BUt other than that, she;s not sure what to do with herself. She just wants to save the world again so she can get back to her family.
CR GOALS: She needs more CR in general! She can have a tendency to be a LONE WOLF and I don't want her to section herself off if I can stop it. Though at the moment she's been spearing tribbles, first to try and figure out if she could eat them and now because there are so many and mama wants a new pelt rug.
SCENE-DOS: Literally anything probably bar romance. She's married already. But of course that doesn't stop her from flirting. As with Tommy, I mostly stick to action tags, but really I'm good for any CR, negative, positive, fluffy, violent. ANYTHING.

PERSONALITY: Ordinarily: a dragon! Enthusiastic, intelligent, curious, horrifically socially inept, and inclined to be vain. Temeraire is fond of learning about new places and people, and quickly develops a good opinion of anyone who gives him free stuff/compliments him.
CURRENT STATUS: After the Malicant plot, however, he's noticeably more reserved, a little paranoid, and sleeps poorly; while he will still endeavor to be friendly, he will be less talkative than he normally is. Javert is going to recommend therapy with Hannibal (HA) for all his teammates, and Temeraire is likely going to accept because what are emotions. He'll also be looking for multiple projects to take up his time and distract him from everything that's been happening recently.
CR GOALS: I am honestly up for anything as usual--Temeraire is pretty versatile and it isn't hard to do things with him. He has only spoken to some people once or twice, though, so I'd like to strengthen that CR especially! In addition, I'd like to have him use his brain a little more--he's known for his intellect in-canon and he hasn't really gotten a chance to showcase that in-game, mostly because he's two hundred years behind, but he's been doing a lot of catching up.
SCENE-DOS: Anything! Positive or negative CR, I adore the lot.
SCENE-DON'TS: Not a whole lot! I don't mind slice-of-life since slice-of-life for a dragon is always going to be a little offbeat, but I would like some general idea of where a thread is going before we start.

PERSONALITY: Brusque, no-nonsense, and stubborn as hell, Lin can be hard to get to know or like. She won't go out of her way to make friends, but once you have her trust, you have it for life. She's lawful good more often than not but she has no problems with swinging into chaotic good when it suits her. Although she's instinctively distrustful of politicians and businessmen, she isn't strictly opposed to speaking to either.
CURRENT STATUS: Lin's been getting used to the city--an easier task now that her bending is back--and trying to broaden the number of contacts she has (which is no easy feat when you're as abrasive as she is). Javert's foreigner branch of the police force is something that definitely interests her, and she'll be getting more involved in that as the month goes on. Other than that, her time is mostly spent training and not-so-subtly keeping an eye on Korra and Toph.
CR GOALS: Making friends! Or friendly acquaintances, which is more likely. Lin has spoken to a lot of the cops in town, but I'd like for her to get to know other people, too! Right now I mostly want her to get settled in and find a position she's comfortable with so I can ruin it all later.
SCENE-DOS: Again, just about anything! Negative CR would be great, too--either of the "insulted you by being rude to your face" or the "oh you're actually a supervillain" variety.
SCENE-DON'TS: Lin doesn't do small talk or slice-of-life terribly well unless something interesting manages to interrupt. They're not off the table, they're just less likely to happen!
YARD SALE: She'll definitely be up and around the city--not necessarily buying things, just keeping an eye on the general populace and getting to know Keeliai better.

PERSONALITY: Serious, honorable young woman who also happens to have extensive training in magic, necromancy, swordplay, and etiquette. Generally friendly, unless you're practicing black magic or undead. Kind of a bookworm, and fond of discussing magic.
CURRENT STATUS: Trying to investigate stuff, also looking for more students and teaching the ones she has. Learning martial arts from Amon.
CR GOALS: Is your character a nonpowered human? Would they like to learn magic? Sabriel can help. I'd also love for Sabriel to get more negative CR- or just more CR in general.
SCENE-DOS: I'm good with almost anything.

CHARACTER: Victoria Desange

PERSONALITY: So, this kid here. Her life has been one moment of suck after another. She's an orphan. She was raised in the woods by a very angry, insane ghost. The only human contact she had for five years was with her younger sister. When she was found by her uncle, it took a while to get her used to people and even then, things did not go well. Her adopted ghost mom followed her and tried killing her aunt and uncle and then decided if she couldn't have her adopted daughters, no one could. Victoria and her sister were taken to the top of a cliff and Mama was gonna jump off with them. Victoria was rescued. Her sister was not. Because of all of this, because of how she was raised, she's a partially feral kid who doesn't show a lot of emotion. She doesn't understand how other kids work and she's not at all used to people. She's quiet. She doesn't do much in the way of playing, either. She watches people with wariness and it takes a bit to get her to trust them. She's used to Mama coming along and wrecking any bonds she forms and even if she knows Mama is gone, this is still super hard for her.
CURRENT STATUS: She just got here. She's been poking around town, exploring Water Sector mostly and meeting people. But her conversations are short and she usually just heads home when she's had enough. She's befriended Gavroche (she won't admit it) and she's befriended Jack Frost (which she'll admit to). Mostly, though, she's just been talking to people to try to learn more about people in general.
CR GOALS: I want to slowly build up a family for her. I would also LOVE for someone to try to fill in the huge gap in her education. Her last year of school was pre-school and even that wasn't completed. She is a smart kid, though. She is very willing to learn provided someone is patient with her.
SCENE-DOS: I'm up for almost anything. Plot based, fluff. I'm good with either action or prose. Really, I'm not picky. I'm even fond of negative CR, even if she is a kid. There are bound to be people who just don't like Kids that Victoria can bother.
SCENE-DON'TS: I have very few donts that they aren't even worth mentioning at all.
YARD SALE: She's going to be looking for art supplies. This little girl absolutely loves to draw (and will probably draw all over her walls if she runs out of paper).

Hayley's 14 and protective of girls, so maybe they could become friend-ish? She's pretty innocent as an act, but is actually really devious and violent in the right (wrong?) situation, so she could definitely handle Victoria's reactions.

On the flip side, Costigan is a super reserved Bostonian, but he's secretly really protective of kids. If she latched onto him (metaphorically or literally), he wouldn't send her away and might start trying to help her out, teach her, etc? It wouldn't be a family really, but he could be a potential filler or helper or whatever!

PERSONALITY: Dick is usually pretty cheerful. He's only just arrived onto the turtle, and from his canon point he's a little depressed and unsure of himself, but he rolls with the punches and he really loves meeting new people. He's that guy who will become your friend whether you want him to or not! He loves kids, and people with red hair (especially women with red hair). Basically he's a fun guy to be around, if a little sad right now.

PERSONALITY: Billy is a pretty regular kid when it comes to his personality. He's definitely a teenager, and can act like one. Gets upset pretty easily, but also knows how to control it before it gets too out of hand. From his canon point, he's already going through a huge mix of depression/happiness/anger, so he's got stuff going on. But he's a huge fanboy, and enjoys making friends, and he can do magic. Lots of magic. Which he's still learning how to use it all.
