Evening, turtle-ites! Alex here with a twofold post -- the Yard Sale OOC announcement combined with the game's CR meme! We've put them together to reduce clutter in the OOC comm and give one central space in which to plot shenanigans. We'll kick it off with the event summary, then head straight into the meme fun. 8D

Yard Sale
With the rationing being lifted the morning of July 20th, kedan all over Keeliai are going to take to the streets and rejoice in a very unique way. Festival? Nah! Banquet? Been there, done that! City-wide yard sale? OMG YES. This event will run from July 21st - 27th.

What does this mean?
This means that the streets of Keeliai shall become flooded with hastily built stalls, swifly lain carpets, and tables that have been ported outside for the sake of laying out wares that have been long hoarded during the stingiest days of the rationing. Foreigners and kedan alike are encouraged to both sell anything that tickles their fancy as well as peruse the wide varieties of, well, everything on offer. These are the fruits from months of carefully setting aside bits, pieces, and bobs for a rainy day -- only they've brought them out for this happy moment!

And that's it. Really. It's the most epic sidewalk sale that Keeliai has ever seen! A party-style log will be posted on Sunday to kick things off, but first...

What about the darn Tribbles?!
The Tribblepidemic continues throughout the event, with enterprising kedan finding new and inventive uses for the adorable menaces. And Lex fridges a bunch to serve as Tribbletonite against the Supes. They'll still be everywhere, but characters may see them being put to new and unique applications. What kinds of applications? Well... We're taking suggestions! Do you have a way that you'd love to see Tribbles used? Then feel free to make suggestions in the Tribble subheader! (In this post, just below the questions subheader.)

And that's the gist of it! The event is meant to be a winddown after the recent stresses for the characters and a great way for Foreigners to sell off any assets -- or buy some along the way. Feel free to ask any questions that you may have within the subheader provided for in the comments.

Hello, chelonauts! The CR With Me meme is back and ready for action!

When it comes to our CR meme, we do ask that you be as specific as you can! 'Our characters should team up to moon Eshai' is going to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for better than 'omg tag me.'

We're still using the modified form, including the two sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! There is also a section specific to the plotting of shenanigans during the upcoming event! (Details of which are available above.)

CHARACTER: Jack Frost
CANON: Rise of the Guardians
PERSONALITY: All about fun, pretty much a dork, loves his kidlets and wants to spoil them, expect moar pranks soon.
CURRENT STATUS: He was (reluctantly) set to go into deep freeze hibernation for the rest of the summer but thanks to Bruce and Tony(s) he's gotten his usual Wood suite outfitted as a chill zone. Damian is also working with other Bruce on a mobile version that will allow him to be around and outside in moderation, even in the summer.

CHARACTER: Stocking Anarchy
CANON: Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt
PERSONALITY: RUDE ANGEL! Okay but under that, she's competitive, bossy and haughty, but she actually is intelligent (hold the laughter) and can be useful if someone wrangles her into actually being productive.
CURRENT STATUS: She's... unfortunately not doing much of anything right now. Which I very much want to change. Please come plot with me for her! /grovels

CHARACTER: Raven
CANON: Teen Titans Animated
PERSONALITY: Quiet, sarcastic, prone to meditation and vowing to never, ever let Beast Boy turn himself into a tribble.
CURRENT STATUS: Just recently arrived and getting used to Keeliai. I'll be putting up an open log for her this weekend but beyond that, I'm open for anything!

YARD SALE: No firm plans on anything! Jack and Stocking will want to buy stuff and not sell (Jack because he has nothing TO sell and Stocking because she's selfish) and Raven probably won't be that interested unless she finds something magical/etc for sale.

Oh, god.

Swizards are swan-lizard pack animals with long necks and frills like dilophosaurus. They hiss from their toes. This is what we brought back from investigation: Swizards. Wanda turned a bunch of qin into more of them.

Asbel has a sweetheart of a runt swizard so she's like the size of an Irish Wolfhound. Swizard rides are a thing that could happen.

I feel like Toph hasn't forgotten her first meeting with Stocking, and if she ever catches Stocking alone on a bridge, there will be a sudden hole beneath Stocking's feet. ^^;
