Evening, turtle-ites! Alex here with a twofold post -- the Yard Sale OOC announcement combined with the game's CR meme! We've put them together to reduce clutter in the OOC comm and give one central space in which to plot shenanigans. We'll kick it off with the event summary, then head straight into the meme fun. 8D

Yard Sale
With the rationing being lifted the morning of July 20th, kedan all over Keeliai are going to take to the streets and rejoice in a very unique way. Festival? Nah! Banquet? Been there, done that! City-wide yard sale? OMG YES. This event will run from July 21st - 27th.

What does this mean?
This means that the streets of Keeliai shall become flooded with hastily built stalls, swifly lain carpets, and tables that have been ported outside for the sake of laying out wares that have been long hoarded during the stingiest days of the rationing. Foreigners and kedan alike are encouraged to both sell anything that tickles their fancy as well as peruse the wide varieties of, well, everything on offer. These are the fruits from months of carefully setting aside bits, pieces, and bobs for a rainy day -- only they've brought them out for this happy moment!

And that's it. Really. It's the most epic sidewalk sale that Keeliai has ever seen! A party-style log will be posted on Sunday to kick things off, but first...

What about the darn Tribbles?!
The Tribblepidemic continues throughout the event, with enterprising kedan finding new and inventive uses for the adorable menaces. ~~And Lex fridges a bunch to serve as Tribbletonite against the Supes.~~ They'll still be everywhere, but characters may see them being put to new and unique applications. What kinds of applications? Well... We're taking suggestions! Do you have a way that you'd love to see Tribbles used? Then feel free to make suggestions in the Tribble subheader! (In this post, just below the questions subheader.)

And that's the gist of it! The event is meant to be a winddown after the recent stresses for the characters and a great way for Foreigners to sell off any assets -- or buy some along the way. Feel free to ask any questions that you may have within the subheader provided for in the comments.

Hello, chelonauts! The CR With Me meme is back and ready for action!

When it comes to our CR meme, we do ask that you be as specific as you can! 'Our characters should team up to moon Eshai' is going to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for better than 'omg tag me.'

We're still using the modified form, including the two sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! There is also a section specific to the plotting of shenanigans during the upcoming event! (Details of which are available above.)

CHARACTER: Damian Wayne
CANON: DC Universe
PERSONALITY: Eleven year old who was trained an assassin and raised to rule the world until he was ten. Not nice, but has been growing into mostly decent, and has a soft spot for children. And he's taken up his father's mission of protecting those who need protection well enough to heart. (Also very good at fighting and strategy and languages and music and art and decent-ish in detective work and tactics.) He may, on occasion, be a walking, talking trigger for child abuse.
CURRENT STATUS: Damian is... a bit of a mess, but he's slowly been muscling his way towards becoming a better person. Mostly thanks to Kyle and bitty Dick and Jack. And maybe a bit Dinah. He's finally back on the track that (his) Dick set out for him, and some things are making more sense than they used to. So he's learning, soaking information in. Getting to work with people and reacting to them in slightly more human ways. And he's... battening the hatches against the storms that he has no doubt are coming in.
CR GOALS: There are a few things for Damian to deal with up and coming, mostly with Kyle AND Dick getting more serious about relationships? Because the kid has issues. But, other than that, he'll try to be the voice of reason when he can (ha, ha) about the whole Powers vs. No Powers thing. And. Help wherever he can. This last month has been sort of intense, so being more loose about the next month sounds like a plan to me. >.> But I'm open for just about anything!
SCENE-DOS: Pretty much anything. Teaching Damian lessons (they don't have to be taught nicely either) is always a go, but far from limited to that. Seeking out/figuring clues about the situation, adventures, just about everything. (He's unlikely to subject easily to fluff, but anything's possible.)
SCENE-DON'TS: As usual, no angst for only angst's sake (some of it happens, and that's okay! Beautiful even. Just not making it the focus of stuff). No 'ships (yet), because eleven. ;)
YARD SALE: ... Damian will be stalking and maybe buying pieces of salvage that he can use, especially to improve the contraption he's making for Jack. If things potentially go, after this app round, as they might, he'll be off out of the city, probably towards the turtle's backend, burning tribbles with fire, however.

CHARACTER: Bucky Barnes
CANON: MCU
PERSONALITY: Outgoing, determined, ladies' man, and a little sharp, Bucky's an orphan from Brooklyn who grew up with the man who was to become Captain America, became a soldier (and part of a special team) during WWII, and then... fell off a train. He's also been around since August, and he's working hard on bridging up the information and technology gap.
CURRENT STATUS: He's gotten possessed, electrocuted to get that out, and then sort-of-electrocuted badly as getting-out-of-hostage again. And he's recovering. Oddly enough, though far from well, he's steadier mentally than he has been in a while.
CR GOALS: I want to get him a bit more involved again? A lot of the threads I have currently (other than the people who tagged Bucky's post, will get on that shortly!) so, he may be poking around at people. And. Dealing with tribbles. Because WHAT?
SCENE-DOS: I'm good with just about anything. Teach a 1940s soldier about more modern things - and attitudes - sure. Those who are further behind learning from him or alongside? Sure. Spoiler him for what's to come... yep (though he thinks he's got that covered, now). Slice of life, action, romance, fighting, sadtimes, humor, positive CR, not-so-positive... You name it. I'll likely do it. Both action and prose are also absolutely fine.
SCENE-DON'TS: Again with the no-angst-for-angst's-sake. Most other things, let me know, and I'll likely be up for them!
YARD SALE: Nothing specific buying/selling-wise that I can think of, unless he can find some of those tasers that Tey-po used on him. That, he'd buy two of - one to try to pull apart and understand (or give over to somebody he can), and one to use.
Also, he has no qualms destroying tribbles. Since he has no powers to otherwise contain them. But he can try to keep them away from food.
