There is no way you could even remotely mistake their relationship for people that have any sort of liking for one another at all, and for very good reason. Loki does not like him even the slightest bit.

Tony went after him in his first post to try to lay down the law when most everyone else waffled whether or not they recognized him, and he actually appreciates that in a weird way. Like, he was pissed. He was totally pissed, and he dislikes the fact that he can't turn him around to be a useful asset, but there's still a value there that he can recognize.

He does like that he's half-certain he has Tony mostly settling on the understanding that he's a crazy child-god even if he had to get thrown into the ocean to do it, and still they have their arguments and conflict. It's become a type of entertainment to him. Once in a while they careen out of control and other things have to stop them, which is usually indicated by a thing where suddenly Loki's threatening to harm people because he knows it'll get a rise out of the hero. It's practically turned into their safe-word at this point.

Still, somehow he turned into the one man that Loki actually speaks frankly to from time to time. He's actually confessed the bulk of what he wants to Tony, but he just never does it exactly when the man demands it of him. They have a lot in common, and it makes it easier for the two of them to interact on the same level.

(Which that is probably a huge insult, but they do.)

Their current tiff is going to knock that off course for a very short time, mostly because Loki knows how to bounce back from an unexpected loss. This is almost a professional association between the two of them. Their game gives him an outlet he doesn't otherwise have, and he's not going to lose that. He's had his chances to obliterate Tony, and he's not even trying to take them.

Not yet, anyway. If he ever does, well, it's just business.

Even though she won't admit it, Amon's criticism helps keep sabriel grounded. (Not that she considers him anywhere near infallible, but he makes her think over things a little more carefully.) And despite the arguments and... occasional fights, she does consider him a friend, although bloodbending still unnerves her.

Also, Sabriel is going to start yelling when she finds out what Marius has been saying.

so, considering that fixing all that business with damning elizabeth to a future as the apocalypse was robert's idea, it's clear that he (out of the two of the luteces) thinks and reflects on how his actions really impact others, and he feels really bad about what happened. since elizabeth was sequestered off from everyone and most of the studies on her were done by the luteces because they are apparently the only quantum physicists in the city, I've always kind of imagined that the Luteces actually communicated with her, perhaps that Robert thought fondly of her. Not quite like a little sister but more the fondness that a tutor has for a pupil or something?

but yeah my thoughts are that robert likes Elizabeth and I need to throw him at Liz's intro post or something somewhere, idk if you have a log up

Olivia honestly considers Kyle one of her best friends here. If Lincoln doesn't count, then he would be her best friend hands down. He just... clicks with her? They might have a tense moment here or there as they figure each other out, but those get resolved fairly quickly, and other than that they get along really well. Basically he lets her shine and she recognizes and loves that. And because he gives her enough in that way, she is able to feel comfortable returning to him in terms of trust and support. He pretty much validates what she says and does and she loves gathering those kind of people around her because it's something she needs to thrive. Basically, he is a matching piece to the puzzle of Olivia.

Ivy is going to be eternally conflicted about Kyle. COMPLICATED FEELINGS EVERYWHERE. Obviously she started out thinking that he was a nice and interesting individual, but between his power and seeing her vulnerable moment during the Dreaming, she's wary of him. He knows a smidgen too much about her for how strong he is and no matter how nice he is, that is always going to be nagging in the back of her mind because The Archive has a very strong sense of self preservation. So even if "Ivy" was fine with Kyle "The Archive" (yeah we're getting into differentiating between her personal self and the magic construct, that is how complicated this is getting) would not be fine with him and would always be blinking some warning light when he's around. So that ultimately combines and comes out as her thinking he's nice but wanting to keep her distance. THEN JIM KIRK HAPPENED AND IT GOT EVEN MORE COMPLICATED. Because now she has Jim's very very strong feelings for Kyle that pop up and she has an extremely hard time keeping them separate from her own since she feels emotions on a much weaker level than Jim (most of the time). So now she knows just how wonderful and caring and good of a person Kyle is, and it is very jarring with the fact that The Archive, more than before, is telling her to be cautious. It puts a lot of mental strain on her to try and suppress both Jim's memories and The Archive's warning systems, but if she didn't do that then it would probably drive her slowly insane. As for knowing about all of Kyle's suffering, it doesn't really affect her one way or another. Since she has 5000 years of memories and information, that kind of thing doesn't mean much to her and she simply goes "okay" and moves on. However, she would be upset if she saw him suffering in front of her and would consider helping him (if it was emotional distress she wouldn't know what to do because help what are feelings but would probably make a pathetic attempt at helping him a bit, if it was physical distress it would really depend on the situation and would require pages of introspection for her to actually corm to a decision which she would regret either way, there is zero good option for her there, one option is letting a good person come to harm and letting Jim down but the other is going against the Archive in a really serious way and she would have so many problems doing that).

TL;DR on that essay is that she likes him but it's ~forbidden~ and she's a goody two shoes and doesn't want to break the rule, so being around Kyle is extremely hard for her because she can't ever enjoy it.
