But yeah he can totally understand wanting things to make sense, even if a metal dragon who loves to eat oil mixed with a little tabasco sauce apparently is totally sensible in his standards. Actually Marius kind of totally pushed away their conversation about same-sex lovin to the back of his mind LMFAO. He kind of thinks Alcuin is weird af and totally in a completely non-sexual relationship with Courf. But if Alcuin's Courf's friend he can't be terribly bad??
And with recent developments between Enj and Ferre, Marius is sort of beginning to reflect on his words somewhat. One day he will make sense of it cries

Marius thinks Amon is the best guy ever. Also that Korra is WRONG. He never liked that scandalous lady anyway she's so inappropriate and totally bullying everyone into thinking Amon is totally less than a saint. Amon is so cool and can do no wrong he kind of feels bad that he's so terrible at chi blocking though oops.
He probably believes all the manipulative shit Amon tells him too he's a swell dude like that. He's like, up there in the people who can do no wrong plane along with Cosette and Bonaparte.

LMAO Marius is actually kind of trying his best to be a nice frand? I mean he's not doing it very well and he's still kind of stuck in this "such girls much awkward wow" mentality because how do you be friends with girls??
That said! It's difficult for him to dissociate her with the poor people of Paris because she and the other Thenardiers are his main exposure to the less fortunate, so he's pretty much still in the oh you pitiful soul stage and he has yet to see her as her instead of "oh this poor person" but he's trying?? The whole thing with Gavroche leaving that i have yet to tag back CRIES sort of made him see her in a new light, like "oh she doesn't just help con people and stand around being poor and pitiful, fancy that." And he does want her to feel better about Gavroche leaving. But true friendship is like.. Slow progress. 10 chapters worth of slow progress lmao.
Also he gets nightmares of her and the other boys at the barricades sometimes. FUN! 8'D And he's kind of just blocking out her whole death thing because that's how he copes he forgets everything or at least tries to sob.
Leo kind of thinks Eponine is cute. :3 he'd hit on her if he wasn't trying to be a good boyfriend to Vanessa sobs.

Actually, that's really illuminating, and makes a lot of sense. Compartmentalizing her and then oh, wait, she has feelings and actually cares about her brother and wanted to do good by him wait what? She'll call him a friend anyway. And harass him at every single post you ever post with him, but I think you knew this signing up for me coming on as Epiny.
