But with not that many people around to give him stability, Tony is sort of left taking what he can get--including people he dislikes. He gets a kind of schadenfreude knowing he's not the only one struggling with their weird universe situation, and in a weird way that makes him want to keep Loki around. He doesn't like him. He's mostly being civil because he doesn't want to offend Thor, but arguing with Loki makes him feel like at least he's not the only one having a bad day. :D; And, although he wouldn't admit it, he does get something out of their talks besides antagonism. They relate enough that Tony finds himself reaching out more than he wants to, which is ironic since nice people have a harder time coaxing him to do that sometimes. But, like you said, Tony has this habit of doing the opposite of what people want/expect just on principle. They're enemies, sure, but almost civil enemies. They have their game and its rules and that's something Tony actually counts on. After the thrashing he'll have to take some time to lick his wounds and lie a bit lower, but he's not going to quit.
It's weird and complicated. And self-contradictory at times, but I blame Loki.

First of all, Scott is alive! I have to get that out of the way, because it's the elephant in the room for Tony that he won't bring up because he's an avoidant bastard until he thinks he can use the information to get something.
Okay, that aside: he's really happy to see Scott again. He considers it somewhat a second chance, even though he doesn't consider it a complete solution (they aren't really them, etc) it is close enough to count. As long as nothing goes wrong, he's happy to take the chance to be around Scott again. He's making the decision to look past the rational answer because he dislikes it, which is selfish and no one was surprised.
He was kind of worried about him at first. He's sort of been stalking Scott to keep an eye on him (shhh), and in this case he's glad Cassie is around to cheer Scott up a bit. I can't call it looking after him because no one would remotely want Tony to be taking care of others, but he is kind of trying to keep tabs and be a little more of the support he used to be. With less money, but that won't stop him either. Scott is a familiar face that is actually rather close to him due to having history so he gets special treatment.

He doesn't know too much about him yet, but he's shown himself to be a smart guy who wants to keep people safe out of more than just obligation or a lukewarm sense of responsibility. Interesting note: he thinks Kyle is very serious business and would like to poke him, but he doesn't know him well enough to give him a hard time yet. He will, though, just as soon as he gets a good subject to poke him with. Because that's how you relate to people, right?
Kyle's going to regret humoring him by the end of everything. He's kind of held back because he's been feeling out these other heroes before getting too far into things, but that's not going to last...

Tony thinks that Gene is an interesting puzzle. He's kind of okay with him even though he's associating with Loki because he seems like a nice enough kid. He's a little weirded out by the fact that Gene apparently knows another Tony (kid Tony even!) and Pepper and Rhodey.
THIS IS LIKE ONE OF THOSE HIGH SCHOOL ANIMES-
And he can sort of piece together from the dragon motif + "Khan" that he isn't the counterpart to one of his closer acquaintances, so yes, he's kind of been hanging back and stalking his conversations. The response he made when Gene was yelling at Loki was a test to get a better feel for him, but Gene mostly seems all right. He's probably going to keep sneaking around him like a shark trying to figure him out, but now that he knows Gene is apparently not going to fly off the handle immediately, he'll probably end up poking him just to resolve some of that confusion. He totally likes him better than Loki though. And he doesn't even really know him yet. XD CONGRATS!

Thor is someone Tony simultaneously wanted and didn't want to see brought to Keeliai. He wanted the Avenger there, of course, but he didn't want him to be put through the mess they are in or have the whole clone problem. >_>; And he also anticipated a rocky interaction so he's both happy about and bothered by seeing him there. On the pros side he's always happy to see a friend and Thor is one of the Avengers he implicitly trusts to be strong and get them through tough times, which Malicant is. So that's a point in their favor! But then he's afraid of facing him. Not really in the imminent pounding sense. That's clearly on the table, but it doesn't frighten Tony maybe as much as it should. He's actually more afraid of the potential for disappointing him or having to fight him, because he likes him and the concept of attacking his friend in any way is grossly unappealing. In-fighting between Avengers bothers him on principle. It happens, sometimes because of him, but it still manages to offend his sensibilities and values when it comes to them as a team.
And this is a little less on the forefront, but there is something wrong with bringing gods there. This applies somewhat to Loki, but more so to Thor. And kind of to Steve but on a different level. The fact that Thor and Loki are there now gives Tony a feeling of putting a unicorn in a cage. He's not religious, but this does get close to the line where part of him didn't want to see it as possible. It would have affirmed an idea of limits on the Emperor's power for one, but the little corner of his broken mechanical heart given to romance is sad to see it happen.
So. There are a lot of thoughts. >_>;

Okay, so Tony thinks Orion and Shocky are just some really advanced aliens that know great tech but he still doesn't know they are actually robots. And when he finds out he might have a tiny fangasm over that, because this ranks up in the neighborhood of "SPACE IS GREAT (until it really isn't)". He recognizes that they are very intelligent and skilled, and maybe suspects a little that they aren't all that they are letting on to be, but so far that isn't a big deal. Shockwave especially gets a spot in Tony's heart because she clearly loves science and energy development, and he loves that she loves it. Yes, genuine excitement is a selling point for him. 8D; She's teaching him things; making him feel like he's progressing and getting into real work versus just waiting to be useful. And that means a bunch to him.
Also her holoform is pretty. But nevermind that.
It's funny because in Keeliai Tony often feels more at home around strangers than people he knows. He's burdening the people that recognize him, but when it comes to people that don't know him he can more or less be himself without feeling guilty. Plus a million points if he can do science with them. :D His heart will always belong to the Avengers, but if he has to start over, he would probably pick tagging along and helping out Shockwave with things. She just made a great impression and he likes her. And if he finds out they are all gender neutral robots he will still like him just as much. Because OMFG yes! They need to do more together and continue the trend of teasing. He doesn't always pick up on when he's being left out of the joke but when he does he wants to be in on the joke! Tell him the joke! \;A;/
Also the keywords apply.

They didn't interact too much, but their brief interaction was incredibly fun for him. Minus the eventual getting in trouble bit. It was a taste of being a parent and he really likes Jaime! He's a good kid. It was a chance to just be nice and not have other expectations to live up to, and because of that Jaime kind of has the honor of being a nice memory for him. Feel free to find that one weird and creepy, but Tony doesn't get the chance to do simple things very often. He also tends to forget that he likes them.
Depending on how things go from here on, Tony might start obnoxiously keeping tabs on the Reyeses too. He doesn't know how to properly express being fond of people, so he will probably attempt conversations and possibly gifts and other forms of bribery to stay on their good sides. But his impression of Jaime is that he's so normal (in a good way) that he deserves to be treated. He'll probably take it upon himself to make that happen at some point. I'LL TRY TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN.
So, yes, kind of a brief first-interaction impression there but it has some good potential.

Cassie? Cassie is a relief. It's horrible and selfish because he knows no one should have to be brought there and it holds horrible implications, but she's very nearly family (as much as he's got) and he's happy to see Scott reunited with her. That means as much to him as anything he could personally ask for. He doesn't know about her death and if he finds out it will be pretty devastating for him, considering he isn't very hopeful about what happens when people disappear. At the moment he's still just trying to make it up to Scott for just that reason, and he's already pretty fiercely defensive of them both on that one detail. Any more reason would make him super paranoid.
All that said, look at how she's grown! Big hero now! :3 She'll always kind of be the little girl he remembers, but he's glad to see her doing so well. He kind of fell off the map and didn't get to see her as much and now she's all on a team and doing hero stuff. He's so proud of her. He may not be real family but he still feels like it! And the fact she calls him Uncle Tony still just cements all of his wibbly feelings.

Her response to Tony's recent slip actually surprised him. He didn't think that she would notice because they are just in passing so far, but the fact she was actually trying to push back was touching to him. Once he comes out of his stupid haze, Tony will probably want to come thank her for that personally. He's not that great at receiving concern any more than he is at sincerely giving it, so it'll be awkward. But he did notice! And he does care! They haven't quite gotten past the initial trust line yet, but he does like her and likes having her around. Which is already progress.

Annabeth personally comes off as intelligent and calm. She seems like she would be a good leader, and in their exchanges he doesn't feel like he can't treat her as such. She gives clear, rational answers that sound like a fighter. Even if she's young, she has the sense to take charge of things. He doesn't know her too well, but she's made an impression from when they have talked anyway. He counts her as one of the people who actually knows a decent bit about the turtle and gives reliable answers--which means he's likely to ask her things because she has good judgment. He places her on fairly high merit even though he's not personally close to her.

Banner himself, the scientist, is quieter than he's used to. Tony thinks that probably has a lot to do with the comparative difference in their Avengers experience, which is why he still engages Bruce in things like that. It's almost a social exercise rather than the work aspect, and yes he does do it because Bruce is practical and useful, but he also does it to give this Bruce more positive social links. It's a less in-your-face approach than MCU Tony, but he does feel Bruce could use it. There's also that "the Avengers helped me get better and I want to share that with you" thing, but he's going a little further just to make it more broadly social. Because in his opinion it can do him good, whether Bruce likes it or not.
Also, he respects Bruce's judgment for the most part. He's practical and an accomplished scientist, which earns him Tony's respect right there. He generally knows how to approach a problem from the safe side, and Tony recognizes that and trusts him on it. However, he does think Bruce's judgment as far as non-science subjects needs work (As usual, so there you go. A connection to his Banner.) and he has decided that Bruce doesn't really understand that area as much as he does others. Tony feels a little more qualified in that sense, which is why he's willing to push things toward Bruce or make calls Bruce doesn't agree with when that becomes a factor.

Oh, and how would Tony react/feel to finding out that Dick, does in fact, wear a mask? No cape though. No capes.
