And hmm...if it ever comes out that "Gene" is short for "Temujin", Tony miiiight take a bit more notice. Maybe. I have no idea about how the wibbly wobbly timey wimey world of comics timelines works. WIKIPEDIA TELLS ME THAT'S 616!MANDARIN'S SON'S NAME OR SOMETHING IDK MAN I JUST WORK HERE.

Honestly if he found out that Gene was Temujin it would get his attention more, but he likes his Temugin. Sort of, they have a complicated relationship. But Temugin is a Zen monk-raised idealist who wants to break Tony and the world out of materialism, and as long as Temugin doesn't follow in his father's footsteps, Tony is okay with him. He actually inherited the rings at one point but then the Mandarin came back again (he does that a lot) and had/has them.

So, anyway, he'd probably try to make sure Gene didn't steer down the course of evil or something. Because that's how he felt about the other one.
