break out the teal deers!

THE CR TL;DR MEME
HOW IT WORKS:
1. List your character(s)!
2. Others respond with "what does your character X think of my character Y?" or some variation.
3. Respond to them! Break out those teal deers!
4. Generate some discussion about your CR!
5. PROFIT!

Cassie? Cassie is a relief. It's horrible and selfish because he knows no one should have to be brought there and it holds horrible implications, but she's very nearly family (as much as he's got) and he's happy to see Scott reunited with her. That means as much to him as anything he could personally ask for. He doesn't know about her death and if he finds out it will be pretty devastating for him, considering he isn't very hopeful about what happens when people disappear. At the moment he's still just trying to make it up to Scott for just that reason, and he's already pretty fiercely defensive of them both on that one detail. Any more reason would make him super paranoid.
All that said, look at how she's grown! Big hero now! :3 She'll always kind of be the little girl he remembers, but he's glad to see her doing so well. He kind of fell off the map and didn't get to see her as much and now she's all on a team and doing hero stuff. He's so proud of her. He may not be real family but he still feels like it! And the fact she calls him Uncle Tony still just cements all of his wibbly feelings.

Sob. I blame writers forgetting stuff entirely on the distance that's been placed between Cassie and Tony in a lot of the recent stories. But - well, you can tell. She considers him family, both from when she was a kid, and from Scott's time with the Avengers. He's important, and he's also doing the right thing, even if he obviously does make mistakes. And she will treat him the way she does anyone else, about those - both chastising and forgiving.
And will probably be torn between accepting the protectiveness and resenting it (because HERO and, even more so, teenager girl), but will not really want him to be any other way than he is.
Except for the return to drinking. (nottalking)

And OTL he's a terrible family member anyway. Cassie is more mature than he is sometimes (hey, sometimes he does okay) and he's just happy to see her and Scott doing well. One good thing about Keeliai is it dragged them out of their world's troubles and made Tony step back and start looking around himself again. He had to slow down and appreciate his friends.
So, yes, now she's stuck with him. :Y
