Evening, turtle-ites! Alex here with a twofold post -- the Yard Sale OOC announcement combined with the game's CR meme! We've put them together to reduce clutter in the OOC comm and give one central space in which to plot shenanigans. We'll kick it off with the event summary, then head straight into the meme fun. 8D

Yard Sale
With the rationing being lifted the morning of July 20th, kedan all over Keeliai are going to take to the streets and rejoice in a very unique way. Festival? Nah! Banquet? Been there, done that! City-wide yard sale? OMG YES. This event will run from July 21st - 27th.

What does this mean?
This means that the streets of Keeliai shall become flooded with hastily built stalls, swifly lain carpets, and tables that have been ported outside for the sake of laying out wares that have been long hoarded during the stingiest days of the rationing. Foreigners and kedan alike are encouraged to both sell anything that tickles their fancy as well as peruse the wide varieties of, well, everything on offer. These are the fruits from months of carefully setting aside bits, pieces, and bobs for a rainy day -- only they've brought them out for this happy moment!

And that's it. Really. It's the most epic sidewalk sale that Keeliai has ever seen! A party-style log will be posted on Sunday to kick things off, but first...

What about the darn Tribbles?!
The Tribblepidemic continues throughout the event, with enterprising kedan finding new and inventive uses for the adorable menaces. And Lex fridges a bunch to serve as Tribbletonite against the Supes. They'll still be everywhere, but characters may see them being put to new and unique applications. What kinds of applications? Well... We're taking suggestions! Do you have a way that you'd love to see Tribbles used? Then feel free to make suggestions in the Tribble subheader! (In this post, just below the questions subheader.)

And that's the gist of it! The event is meant to be a winddown after the recent stresses for the characters and a great way for Foreigners to sell off any assets -- or buy some along the way. Feel free to ask any questions that you may have within the subheader provided for in the comments.

Hello, chelonauts! The CR With Me meme is back and ready for action!

When it comes to our CR meme, we do ask that you be as specific as you can! 'Our characters should team up to moon Eshai' is going to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for better than 'omg tag me.'

We're still using the modified form, including the two sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! CHARACTER: Bryn Zethir
CANON: Original
PERSONALITY: Easy-going and optimistic, Bryn is best described as someone who does best when she has something to hold her attention and someone to be around. She's one of those people who likes being around others even if it just means being in the same room. Optimistic (and not always the best judge of character), she enjoys meeting new people, socializing/social drinking, and basically keeping busy so as to not think about her family and deity back home. Or the fact that they may all be clones. Yep.
CURRENT STATUS: Having recently lost a close friend within the last month or so, and in losing some acquaintances as well, Bryn is kinda in a state of "EVERYONE I KNOW IS DISAPPEARING D8" and...could use not only new friends but probably a new focus. Working in fields sucks. So...the plan is to open a rather more foreigner-friendly bar somewhere near the center of the city so she can 1: keep busy 2: work somewhere other than fields and shops that aren't her own 3: have an easy way to meet new people as other foreigners come and go and 4: have alcohol close at hand because she's a bit of a lush.
CR GOALS: Bryn needs some more friends and acquaintances. I'm aiming for positive CR for her for the most part, especially people who are OC-friendly? As always I would not be opposed to anyone interested in seeing if things can take a more romantic bent but am content to see where things lead.
SCENE-DOS: Threads with specific goals are great, action-spam and dialogue are both great. Things that are fun and ridiculous are always welcome.
SCENE-DON'TS: No hurt/comfort without discussing in advance please. Action scenes are not a strength, and negative CR threads are things that I'll probably shy away from this month.
YARD SALE: Bryn will probably shop around a lot. Anyone who wants to go shopping with her would be welcome!!
ADDITIONAL: If anyone is interested in starting up a bar/tavern type place with her or working at one please let me know! I understand that I'm not the only one with this idea and it could be good to have everyone work together?

CHARACTER: Wanda Lehnsherr | Scarlet Witch
CANON: Marvel Comics | 1610
PERSONALITY: Reformed ex-mutant-terrorist with Daddy issues and separation issues re: twin brother alternates between cool and calm reasoning, elitist attitudes, and more warm, teasing personality. She tends to...adapt to circumstances.
CURRENT STATUS: Wanda has her powers back, a not!son and not!teammates. And swizards. Lots of swizards. She's going to start a pedicab business probably and will be selling excess swizards she can't afford to feed on her own.
CR GOALS: I'm mainly looking to strengthen Wanda's current CR since...she has quite a bit already. I am absolutely open to ideas but specifics are definitely preferred.
SCENE-DOS: Same as above, threads with goals, action-spam and dialogue based scenes. Fun, ridiculous, and bantery are always welcome. Love banter.
SCENE-DON'TS: No hurt/comfort without checking first, action scenes a bit easier with Wanda, more open to negative CR but would prefer to take things as they come.
YARD SALE: Wanda will be shopping, not selling. Especially for little carts or supplies to turn into carts to be pulled by swizards!

CR GOALS: As much canon/cross canon CR as possible. Forever. With everyone. Because- stuff.
SCENE-DOS: GIVE ME ALL YOUR DRAMAS. Prose/Action/Log/Network/WHATEVER. Just as long as we can key smash at each other.
SCENE-DON'TS: Um, no character death for Korra. Yep.
YARD SALE: Selling all of Toph's furniture so funds can go towards the Blind Earthbenders Fund.

PERSONALITY: Traci's a pretty friendly girl who tends to be chill about 90% of the time. She's naturally curious and would enjoy a good mystery, and tends to pop in and out on her own accord. She enjoys magic, learning more about it, and would be really interested in that and anything that needs solving. She's quick with greetings but it takes a bit for her to truly trust you, but once she does she'll stick by you like glue.
CURRENT STATUS: Alive, tribble hunting and snooping around where she can
CR GOALS: Still the same as last time! I want her to build up a trusted network of people and also to be able to work on her weaknesses. She's aware she's not the best fighter and having no powers helped stick that in her mind, so she's learning as much as she can in Tushan and would love anyone willing to teach her. ALSO NEEDS MORE GIRLS IN HER LIFE.
SCENE-DOS: All of the above. Angst isn't likely with her because she tends to look at the glass half-full, but I want her to get close enough with someone to get to that point because that's when it shows she cares and trusts them enough for it,
SCENE-DON'TS: Ask when it happens, but I'm usually okay with anything.

PERSONALITY: He's a very shy, friendly guy who can get passionate if pressed and is always worried about his friends nowadays.
CURRENT STATUS: Tending to his friends because sob their canon isn't called "The Unfortunate" for nothing
CR GOALS: New CR! I desperately need it with him, and more reasons for him to do stuff. He doesn't use the devices much but I want him to.
SCENE-DOS:I work fastest with brackets, as otherwise Jehan is prone to musing and long thoughtful moments of nothing, but I can do either. I'm looking mostly for friendly CR, though a few people he's pissed at might be fun.
SCENE-DON'TS: I don't do detailed gore, trauma, abuse, or other stuff.
YARD SALE: Someone may have to stop him from buying All the Things.

CHARACTER: Sadie Kane
CANON: The Kane Chronicles
PERSONALITY: Sarcastic, sassy, motormouth of a magician who takes no shit from anyone. Friendly, though!
CURRENT STATUS: Apparently pissing off half the population of the turtle since they can't understand the concept of a prank xD
CR GOALS: All the CR! Especially non-demigod CR.
SCENE-DOS: Again, I prefer brackets but this time it's because Sadie talks a lot and it's just easier to bracket with her. All the types of CR would be lovely, except shippy CR. She's got a boyfriend.

CANON: The Confessions of Dorian Gray
PERSONALITY: Mercurial emotional manchild with immortality. Capricious on the best of days, he is charming and pleasant sometimes and cold, entitled, and condescending at other times. He is hedonistic and obsessed with aesthetics, and his manners can swing from 19th century gentleman to 21st century partier in about two seconds flat.
CURRENT STATUS: HE IS SUPER GREAT except when Lord Henry punctures his mood but he is JUST REALLY HAPPY TO BE IMMORTAL RIGHT NOW. He's not involved in anything except Iorveth's bad idea plans.
CR GOALS: I definitely want to deepen current CR. I'd also be delighted to get new CR! More friends are good, people to be rude or sarcastic with is good. Banterbuddies! I love banterbuddies. Possibly apologizing to people he has been a jerk to? ...No. No apologies are forthcoming, sorry.
SCENE-DOS: With Dorian, I tend to stay off network posts because, for some reason, I just have a really hard time tagging into them? I fail, I know. I am happy to switch between prose and actionspam, though! In general, I like anything, from relationship-building casual things to derpy threads to horrible violent terrible things.
SCENE-DON'TS: Nothing in particular? Experience everything, hell yeah.
YARD SALE: SHOP UNTIL YOU DROP he is buying so much you don't even know. Clothes! Musical instruments! Everything! Gotta occupy that storage space!
ADDITIONAL: It continues to be easier to find Dorian at night than during the day! He still sleeps through most days.

CHARACTER: Richard of Windor
CANON: Tales of Graces f is for friends who do stuff together
PERSONALITY: Benevolent King with trust issues who is really trusting anyway and embarrassingly earnest, like, 90% of the time. Loves friendship and peace and everything nice; will shank people ruthlessly for harming his friends. He really likes comic books and thinks superheroes are the greatest! Also one time he tried to destroy the world.
CURRENT STATUS: Richard is helping out at a swizard farm, continuing to involve himself with the hydroponics gardens, and also he gathered some data and gave himself a headache doing it.
CR GOALS: All the CR. People who dislike him! People who get along with him! People he can talk to about how to democratize a monarchy! I definitely want to deepen current CR and explore some more things in it.
SCENE-DOS: Richard actually uses the network because he thinks of it as inn request boards but for feelings. Other than that, I like network and face to face, and I enjoy slow cr building stuff as much as glorious drama and tragedy.
YARD SALE: Not going to lie, I'm pretty sure he's going clothes shopping hardcore.

PERSONALITY: Is he an ok guy? Is he a total jerk? Who knows. He's charming when he wants to be, although lately he's been more sincere because he's trying to come to terms with a lot of things. He's big into politics, and while he's still stubborn about a lot of issues that some people might disagree with, he's trying to be a better person and looking to make some actual friends, however one goes about that.
CURRENT STATUS: He's accepted his death, reluctantly admitted that his reasons for seeking glory in Republic City may have been a little misguided, and is trying to establish himself here. He went on a successful mission during the Malicant event and now gets free drinks. His "big issues" here are one: proving that having dangerous powers doesn't make you a bad person and two: getting foreigners some acknowledgment from the emperor and commander because it's not fair that they're there against their will with no say in anything, dangit.
CR GOALS: Close CR of any type, at this point. Positive or negative. I made a CR plurk a while back that I got a lot of awesome responses to so I have a pretty good idea of where to take him, but more is always good!
SCENE-DOS: Anything.
SCENE-DON'TS: Nothing.
YARD SALE: He might be doing a bit of shopping.

CHARACTER: Hannibal Lecter
CANON: Hannibal
PERSONALITY: Intelligent, charming, and always polite. Manipulative, but subtle about it. Feigns altruism but is actually a really huge jerk that kills people and eats their organs over minor offenses to his sensibilities.
CURRENT STATUS: Just started taking appointments for therapy. He's a good psychiatrist, even if he's a terrible person. Really. Also he hasn't eaten anyone in like three weeks now and he wants to solve that eventually.
CR GOALS: He's still new, so anything.
SCENE-DOS: Anything.
SCENE-DON'TS: Nothing.

PERSONALITY: Fairly calm, really friendly idiot who believes the best of everyone no matter what, refuses to give up on people by in large, and has enough foolish optimism to count as a superpower!
CURRENT STATUS: Asbel came out of the investigation teams largely untraumatized and with a runt swizard, so he's looking for new ways to help out, since he's aware shit's not over by a long shot. He's been meaning to track down Amon after what happened to the clinic, and still offers swordmanship lessons when he can, but generally he's just keeping an ear and an eye out for ways to help people.
CR GOALS:I'd love to keep working on the CR he's made his first month here, and forge some deeper connections, but I'm totally open to throwing him at people and seeing where he sticks.
SCENE-DOS: Befriending all the wrong people (and, optionally, ending up completely right about them but I'm good either way), being a completely overprotective freak about his friends, that kind of thing! I'm faster with action tags than prose, since I'm a wee bit rusty, but I can do either.
SCENE-DON'TS: Currently, I don't have any super strong "NO DON'T DO THAT" for Asbel, but I would prefer you talk to me before any shanking or headfuckery since he has a stabhappy bff (hi farrah) in the wings.
YARD SALE: He'll be looking for flowers/flowerpots and probably staring longingly at swords! I don't currently think he has anything to sell (besides Team 1's swizards) but he might be commandeering tribbles to feed the swizards.

PERSONALITY: A derpy wolf god who really doesn't act like a god at all. Has all sorts of warnings that come with her, including toilet humor, extreme toilet humor, herp-derpery, comic mischief, stealing your ladies, and much, much more.
CURRENT STATUS: She's trying to get them tribbles off her lawn farm. Any helpers?
CR GOALS: Everything and anything! I want all of it, seriously. I'd like to get into deeper CR with the people she already knows, new CR with those she hasn't spoken to yet, and even adopt some of you because that's what an Ammy does. So who needs a new mama?
SCENE-DOS: Prose/action spam is the best way to go about this character, as she's not the type to talk much. She'll be going about some network posts, but words are her bane and she communicates best through actions. Otherwise, threads of dfferent natures are all cool for me.
SCENE-DON'TS: Hmmmmmm, the only thing off the top of my head is a big 'No' on shippy things beyond the familial/friendly kind, for obvious reasons.
YARD SALE: She'll be selling her painting services! Not paintings themselves, but offering to paint for people instead, on any medium they want.

CANON: BRRRRRRRRRRRM

PERSONALITY: A smooth criminal. He comes across as competent and cool, but ~deep down inside~ he's pretty kickass, and also a bit of an adrenaline junkie! And emotionally constipated.

CURRENT STATUS: He's been doing a fair amount of smuggling and other less than legal business since the rationing began. Now that it's over, he obviously won't be doing as much of that, so he'll be focusing a lot more on his private security stuff - he's always looking for new clients, so let me know if you'd like to do anything with that, or with dream sharing!

CR GOALS: I'm always up for making business contacts for him - getting him involved in less than legal activities, and he's got a PASIV and somnacin on hand, too, so he may start quietly spreading the word that there's some extraction work to be had if there's any interest in that!

SCENE-DOS: He tends to be coy and evasive on the network, so if you want to really talk to him, face-to-face interaction is your best bet. He'll set up meetings and such on the network. Otherwise, I'm down for just about anything.

SCENE-DON'TS: There pretty much needs to be a point to a thread for Arthur to be interested. Otherwise, nothing in particular is a hard no for me.

YARD SALE: Arthur will be attempting to sell off whatever items he still has left over from the rationing - food and luxury goods, primarily, like cigarettes and wine. He'll be trying to get rid of them cheap! He'll probably try to get Ariadne to run his stall for him.

CHARACTER: Shepard!
CANON: Mass Effect

PERSONALITY: She's space jesus with a hardcore martyr complex and she's super ethical to boot! But she's also a longtime soldier who knows how to joke around with the best of them when it comes time to relax.

CURRENT STATUS: She was poking around a cemetery with a few other people during the big Malicant event, and now she's working on putting some teams together! Teamwork!!!

CR GOALS: More of this team stuff! She's frankly sick of all these masked vigilantes and their secretive ways (sorry, superhero dudes and dudettes) so I want her to become a big advocate for TRANSPARENCY and COOPERATION and suchlike. Feel free to have this cause conflict! Or also volunteer your characters for her teams!

SCENE-DOS: She's much more open about stuff so feel free to chat with her on the network or meet her in person!

SCENE-DON'TS: Sort of like with Arthur, I usually need some kind of point to a thread so straight up slice-of-life is going to be harder to manage. Otherwise, I'm up for just about anything.

YARD SALE: Nothing in particular for Shepard. She'll probably browse around a bit, see what's on offer. Anybody got any good shotgun mods?

CHARACTER: The Archive
CANON: Dresden Files
PERSONALITY: She's pretends not to care about everything! And she doesn't care about a lot of things, but when people are nice to her and don't just accept her impersonal attitude at face value she begins to care about them. She gets incredibly conflicted when she starts getting emotionally invested because she knows that friends are a good, nice thing, but she's also supposed to not be friends with people to reduce the mental stress on future Archives, plus she has an unfortunate association where friends = getting hurt. So she's very reluctant to show kindness and friendship even when she feels it towards someone. She rarely hates or dislikes people, mostly that turns into an "I don't care" feeling. She also has a tiny bit of snark/humor but she's not comfortable enough here to really let it show yet.
CURRENT STATUS: She had a major meltdown! And then tribes happened! So she's in a much better place now. Slowly working towards the conclusion that it's okay to talk to people and sort of get to know them? It's a very long process for her though, and she's still waaay in denial about how fond she is of some people. Also still doing her science-y stuff. Also going to offer to be a neutral mediator and conflict solver! Which involves a lot of "here are the terms you guys agree on in order to play nice and talk about things instead of hurting each other, because I will kill you if you break the rules." :|
CR GOALS: Always and forever looking to develop current CR but would really love new CR too!!
SCENE-DOS: She's less likely to do network posts and comment on network posts unless there's some interesting thing going on. She's not very chatty so unless she's answering questions or asking questions she'll probably just ignore it (or stalk it if its really interesting). But running into people in person means that she can't just ignore them, so it's a good way to trap her into conversation. Past that... anything goes!
SCENE-DON'TS: Nah, I love everything.
YARD SALE: She will be buying books. I'm sure I will have some open thread/post with her trying to carry way too many books!

CHARACTER: Olivia Dunham (alt)
CANON: Fringe
PERSONALITY: Sassy, funny, lighthearted! Quick to tease and poke people, Altlivia is easy with her smiles. But she also has a verrrrry serious side when it comes to work and the people she loves, and she's wiling to do pretty much anything for them. ...Which is currently causing her to have some guilt due to Olivia's arrival.
CURRENT STATUS: She's getting to know the place! The history, what the people here are like, catching up on plot events, that sort of thing. Also just meeting other characters. And dealing with the shitstorm that came in with Olivia's arrival. Her poor alternate self is a mess and its like 40% her fault so Altlivia is taking a lot of responsibility for trying to fix it as best as she can.
CR GOALS: Everyone come and meet her. No really. Overwhelm me with tags! I want her to meet so many people and talk to them and tease them (for better or for worse)!
SCENE-DOS: I am good with everything. Altlivia is so versatile, she will do network stuff and comment on posts and chat with people off the network.
SCENE-DON'TS: Nada.
YARD SALE: Nothing specific, but she will be poking her nose into everything. Really.

CHARACTER: Jaime Reyes
CANON: DC Comics
PERSONALITY: Jaime is a sweet, dorky sixteen-year-old boy-- he's one heck of a good kid and has a lot of heart, thanks to the most badass mom and dad ever. He's a superhero and has been so for about half a year, and as such has gotten a lot more mature and strategic! Try taking down alien conquerors without pants. Despite this, he's humble and doesn't always give himself enough credit. Though he's also got a snarky streak he's not afraid to bust out if your character deserves it.

Also, he has a newly-sentient hypervigilant alien superweapon welded to his spine that's sorta important.
CURRENT STATUS: Jaime's just finished settling in Tu Vishan: he's managed to connect with some kids his age and started trying to figure out how he can help around the Turtle in broader ways, like joining up to help Shepard with medical services. He's mainly working at a mechanic's in the Metal Sector but also does odd jobs all around the turtle-- to gather any tidbits of information (and any kedan allies) that he can. He wants to figure out how to go home, of course, but he wants to know what the hell is up with this place and is probably going to attempt and fail to learn how to read kedan. OTHER THAN THAT THOUGH. He's just hangin out and is free for most kinds of CR. 8)
CR GOALS: CROSSCANON CR. GIVE ME CROSSCANON CR I LOVE CROSSCANON CR FOREVER. I love all kinds of CR, but I especially want him to make 1) friends his age, 2) allies in poking deeper into the workings of the turtle (because I love plot and Jaime isn't content to stick around without looking for answers), 3) mentory type figures (please teach him how 2 hero), and 4) people he doesn't detest completely, but dislikes enough to be sassy at. SCENE-DOS: I'm down for anything, but I think that Jaime himself would prefer to meet people in person: he's aware of how easily it is to track conversations on a network like this, and he can't encrypt things to 100% all the time even if the Scarab probably could do it for him. PERSONALITY: Basically he is a snarky angel that faked his own death during the almost Apocalypse in order to live it up on Earth. He has a strong dislike for humans(he called Dean a hairless ape) unless they are useful and don't get in his way. He will be spending much of his time here enjoying himself.
CURRENT STATUS: He hasn't been here long, so he has probably been fixing up his place and making it more fancy in his own way. He has also been on the lookout for some alcohol. Though he'll drink anything he comes across, he is looking for the good stuff and will be greatly appreciative to anybody that helps him.
CR GOALS: I am up for anything. Balthazar building up a system of anybody here that can give him useful information and items would be great. In exchange, he might be willing to trade information as well or even his services. He IS a former angel from the Host of Heaven and he does carry with him quite the skill set. Just don't push the whole calling on him thing.
SCENE-DOS: I honestly like everything. He snarks off to people and is not afraid to tell somebody that he dislikes them in a not so nice way. Positive or negative CR or anything in between. All fair game. He likes to kick back and party, so there is that as well.

PERSONALITY: Useless Rich Man from that Book Where Everything is Politics and Terrible. Though he isn't rich here, which is causing some problems. He's pretty friendly, polite, and easy-going, not to mention charming as all hell and he tends to be very loyal to people who love him. (Also he and his boyfriend are super closeted because of Period Homophobia so Renly tries to pretend to be interested in the opposite sex and fails.)
CURRENT STATUS: His current mission in life is Operation: Make Lots of Friends and Learn to Function In Everyday Life. He's... making some progress but the mission continues. Also he's been working for some kedan tailors and learning to sew.
CR GOALS: Anything! Eventually I also kind of want someone to give him "Being Gay Is Okay 101" but lol that's a long-term thing.
SCENE-DOS: Anything is great! Renly is pretty hard to get negative CR with that goes beyond a little sniping back and forth though, because he's very courtly and proper.

CURRENT STATUS: Kind of beat up from his mission, his team just shut down a bunch of M-demort's personnel type stuff and he's been trying to get rid of tribbles as they show up in his space.
CR GOALS: Anything! Him actually getting close to someone who isn't Steve or Toro or maybe striking up some flirty conversation with a girl around his age could be nice.
SCENE-DOS: Anything! I don't mind negative CR with Bucky, he's kind of a jerk sometimes and usually deserves it.
SCENE-DON'TS: Nothin'.
YARD SALE: Bucky is probably going to be selling anything he can get his hands on and possibly buying things and reselling with a markup. It's kind of his thing. Also he might sell tribble furs/meat to vendors.

PERSONALITY: Cranky Fish King who is not to be soothed by tribble purring. Sometimes he's less cranky but right now the cranky dial is up to the max.
CURRENT STATUS: ANNOYED AT EVERYTHING. Especially Certain Space People. The tribbles are fucking up the natural ecosystem you guys. So he's been on a mass killing spree concentrated primarily in Water Sector, and also feeding tribbles to sharks with Lyall and Norrington.
CR GOALS: Anything! More CR outside his cast would be especially great.

CURRENT STATUS: Stalking the network and taking note of things mentioned about the cloning facility and Asti in general, as well as conflicts that crop up regarding powered folk. Doing a few errands with other characters that involve building things, because he does that. He also has a cranky hellbeast named Logan. :|
CR GOALS: I'd like to develop his current CR and get him more stable within the community. Negative or positive CR are both fun. He needs to build relationships.
SCENE-DOS: I like all things. Action or prose are both great, and I like fluff, angst, suspenseful swizard chases across the turtle, or whatever else that works. Sciences and shenanigans are always fun!
SCENE-DON'TS: No death, but otherwise I'm pretty open to whatever happens. I like to let things progress naturally rather than force outcomes, but I'm flexible.
YARD SALE: Tony will likely be scouring for any useful scraps for building. Maybe satellite leftovers or junked parts from other things. And if you rub enough tribbles together you can harness the static for power? Maybe he can sell tribble wheels.

PERSONALITY: A generally friendly mutant, he tries to be a voice of reason in groups. He's content to hang out and enjoy life with friends but he'll also join in on superhero action if he has to. He's very protective of his friends and will put himself in danger for them. He can hold some grudges but he'll rescue someone he dislikes if its the right thing to do.
CURRENT STATUS: Victor's recovering from the whole power loss thing and getting back into turtle-ness now that hiatus is over. He's starting up a new job, offering carpentry and handyman services to anyone that needs them in the city. He's also going to start gathering money like discussed here and there's still time for people to join in on that. Vic's also very interested in getting his hands on one of those power surge things and hoping someone can improve it to be a constant source of power for people that tend to start to die or are otherwise seriously incapacitated by lost powers.
CR GOALS: Always happy to develop existing CR and form new CR too. A mentor-type figure would be awesome for him too. I'm definitely looking to get him into new stuff/talking to people he hasn't yet.
SCENE-DOS: I'm good with just about anything, really. Not as much into heavy angst but some is okay. Just ask before getting extra violent.
SCENE-DON'TS: Heavy angst isn't something I'm looking for. Slice of life is fine but if it's got no goal at all and just stretches on and on then I kind of lose interest. Romance is also currently a no since he's seeing someone in game.

PERSONALITY: a rough and tumble lady who's not afraid to pick a fight, can stand her own ground and punch an asshole in the face without batting an eye. but once you get to know her, Shayera's a pretty nice person, even if she can have a bit of an attitude at times. but if you're close to her, she'll generally be a little warmer and friendlier around you, and maintain a calm composure around strangers.
CURRENT STATUS: nothing much, at the moment. Kyle asked her to train some people on self-defense, and she's been meaning to get on that. aside from that, nothing much except just getting used to the turtle.
CR GOALS: branch out more! I'd like her to meet more people, in her age range or outside of it (she's around her mid 20s).
SCENE-DOS: action or prose is fine with me. I generally like to play a wide variety of things, hilarious scenes, serious, fun, or just hanging out. she likes to fight, so action scenes are a big yes.

CANON: Man of Steel
PERSONALITY: Stoic Kryptonian scientist on the outside, philosophic unconventional badass on the inside, with a side of PTSD because Kryptonians Don't Cope. Of course, 'unconventional' here is from a Kryptonian point of view, so it means things like endorsing natural pregnancy, free will, and advocating for change and growth in a ridiculously static society.
CURRENT STATUS: He's having an eventful first two weeks on the turtle. Atmospheric differences, surprise family, surprise relatives, surprise powers, the building his suite is in getting partially destroyed, and getting high on tribbles.
CR GOALS: Expanding beyond the Superfamily, primarily. Thanks to an overprotective someone the events that've happened to him since he's arrived, he hasn't really had a chance for that. Also getting CR that'll make Kal-El panic and worry. Once the tribble high's not quite as strong, he'll be trying to familiarize himself further with the other foreigners. Science buddies would probably be a good thing for him.
SCENE-DOS: Unfortunately because of the stoicism, he runs at a constant minimum level of TL;DR regardless of RP format. Tribbles aside. I'm good for nearly anything, however, aside from the two things mentioned below. He's also going to be getting a complete crash course in, well, a lot of Earth style cultures and cultural mores because he's basically being dumped in the deep end. You can also expect SCIENCE explanations if a character asks the wrong question, because he's a scientist, and it's kind of ingrained to him. Also, he's going to need practice controlling his surprise superpowers, so people who wouldn't accidentally break in two would be good for that.

CURRENT STATUS: Since Cosette's been gone he's been chilling at Courfeyrac's and being kept busy by his boss. (Thanks Amon you're the best papa!) Also been super-secretly learning the Kedan language with bff5eva Temeraire, and learning magic from Sabriel. tl;dr he's been super busy to get his mind off Cosette, not that it works but it's the thought that counts. Also he's looking for a way to leave the turtle, and by that I mean he's still sort of trying to toss himself into any life-threatening situations so that he can just die already sob.
CR GOALS: I'm always open for new CR especially with people who can distract him from his depression over losing Cosette. He's a quiet and shy dude so people who are outgoing and friendly will mesh well with him! I'm also cool with him getting into arguments and whatever just. ALL THE THINGS.

CURRENT STATUS: I'm on hiatus with Leo until the end of the month because of character burn-out, but more than open to plan stuff anyway? He's just dicking around with the powers that just returned to him lol. Also just recovered from being hamster-ized THANKS SADIE.
CR GOALS: Picking up on CR I promised last CR meme and wasn't able to get to I AM SO SORRY SOB. So that's for Toro, Traci, Vanessa, any others? PERSONALITY: 40 year old oversized manchild who is frequently incapable of being an adult. He's naturally sociable and friendly, but since the death of his daughter Cassie he's been a little more reserved and touchy. Kids hit a lot of his buttons.
CURRENT STATUS: Maybe getting a job with Wayne Enterprises, maybe helping build Norrington a boat, maybe adopting all the kids on the turtle, definitely cluttering up his small one-level suite and building himself a little workshop.
CR GOALS: Close CR is my dream, cross-canon CR is the reason I app into games, parent-kid CR is apparently already happening, negative CR is hard to get but I live and breathe it....yeah, nothing specific? Though close(r) CR is probably my priority right now.
SCENE-DOS: I ACTUALLY HAVE A REALLY SPECIFIC THING I WANT in which Scott goes shopping and some passerby freaks out because his sense of fashion is atrocious and why the hell are you buying that shirt, Scott? Also if your younger-than-20 character would like a pseudo-parent on the turtle, chances are that Scott can be that parent. Even if he'll be more like the cool uncle. He likes to get involved in everybody's business- he's a hard worker! He's an arrogant kid but not really a bad guy yet... He's trying to be a bro first. Being nice is hard, though, so he pretty much might fail at... that.
CURRENT STATUS: He's been here less than a week! At first he really was hoping this was all a bad dream but no matter how much he's pinching himself, it doesn't look like it's going to end...! So whatever, he's in the 'accept this is your life now' stage. In his short time here he's seen a lotta shit go down, and he's a network stalker, so. He knows about Kryptonians (new words for him, yay!), he's asked nicely to take over Stark Industries, he's looking to try to take over the Navy boat if that thing doesn't fail. He's iffy on not-humans, especially if they don't look human. Uhm. What else. OH YES, the tribbles! He hates those little fuckers but thinks he can make good money off of tribblekebobs. The only trouble here is going about it in a way that doesn't make him feel like a peasant. Life is haaard.
CR GOALS: New CR! Positive CR, Negative CR, I'm so open for the both of them. I just want him to meet new people and to start getting a more serious interest in, well, his new surroundings.
