Hello, chelonauts! This marks the start of our six-week interval for CR With Me memes!

As usual, when plotting out any CR potential, please be as specific as you can! 'Our characters should go for coffee next week' is going to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for better than 'omg tag me.'

Mind that the form is still a bit different, including the two recently added sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! We've also added a bit for plotting regarding the upcoming Decay of Tu Vishan event and longterm impact (rationing).

CANON: MCU
PERSONALITY: CAPTAIN AMERICA. Good for the sake of good, fighting for the side of truth, justice, and equality, and not so much the "American way" as it's characterized in modern media or its associated satire. There's some underlying bitterness and anger that came from basically losing everything after being frozen for 70 years, but being on Tu Vishan with his best friend and the woman he loves has curbed that substantially. He likes the kedan and so does not trust the Emperor or her people.
CURRENT STATUS: He's about to find out from Natasha Romanoff that she discovered Clint's body in the sewers being dissected. He'll be on the warpath. Additionally, he's working on building what amounts to a community center for the Foreign population.
CR GOALS: I'd like to develop some of his mild CR more deeply, but I'm always willing to start new interactions as well.
SCENE-DOS: I'm open to anything, but I tend to prefer logs or purposeful network things to general chit-chat - I like writing with a goal in mind, even if the thread veers wildly from expectations on its way there.
SCENE-DON'TS: None I can think of.
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: Steve will be angling to do more with the community center, making sure everyone's needs are taken care of and seeing if they can find ways to assist the kedan using the abilities of the Foreigner population; community organization, essentially.

HINA || Zatanna Zatara

CHARACTER: Zatanna Zatara
CANON: Young Justice
PERSONALITY: Young, flirtatious, and with an insatiable need to relieve boredom, the Zatanna of Earth-16 is surprisingly "normal" for a superhero. She spent the first 14 years of her life out of the spotlight, at her father's insistence, and occasionally lives under his shadow. But in a good way: she loves and admires Giovanni Zatara more than anything. Even if she doesn't always listen, sneaking out of the house or volunteering to be "kidnapped" so she can go on missions with her new friends. Girl's mist likely serving multiple consecutive life grounding sentences at this point. She's impulsive and slightly insecure about her abilities, but she knows who she is and otherwise has great self confidence...to the point where she can be a little "innocent" at times to the darker side of the vigilante world.
CURRENT STATUS: Zatanna has a million things going on right now. She's a member of Pepper's welcoming committee. She works two part-time jobs, an ice cream shop and a magic shop. She doesn't yet know Batman managed to get the Helmet back from Lina (I assume?), and that still weighs on her mind. Eva's coming to the turtle. She and Annabeth are always talking "business" and are due for some fun times. She and Kara sometimes go on Fake Dates. She's knee-deep in Jack drama, and still pissed at Ollie for nearly killing one of her best friends. She and Kyle are forever adopted siblings. Kaldur and Wally are here now, so that's more people from home. She's having some much-needed fun during the Snow Day. Oh, and she accidentally ended up in a love triangle where the two boys she fell for are the same person...and just about every DC person knows but her. THAT'LL GO OVER WELL.
CR GOALS: Continuing to build on existing as well as new CR, including making "friends" with the Easter Bunny and ONE DAY patching things over with Batdad. Though I am not adverse to negative CR if that's the way things turn out.
SCENE-DOS: Almost anything and everything. I'm flexible.
SCENE-DON'TS: Anything too age-inappropriate to action out. If you're not sure, just ping me. I'm okay with most things, but I like to be respectful of other's opinions as well
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: No solid plans yet. Zatanna'a not going to react well to the decay. Possibly try--and fail--to use magic to help out, which would be a blow to her self-esteem. Otherwise, plans are up in the air pending close CR involvement.

CHARACTER:Talia CANON:Heralds of Valdemar
PERSONALITY: Heralds as a whole are Chosen with specific personality types; patient, unselfish, responsible, and capable of heroic devotion to their duties. She is smart, fun-loving, passionate toward her causes. Strong-willed and athletic and holds the fury of a cornered she-cat when crossed unjustly. Quick to laugh and passionate in her ability to love and forgive, though relentless when in support of her friends or loved ones. Currently, due to her recent imprisonment, she is not in the best frame of minds and is wary around people (men especially).
CURRENT STATUS: Talia only showed up a few days ago, so she’s still recovering and getting her feet wet, as it were.
CR GOALS: Well, everything is new for me! I want all the CR from all the people! She’s an empathy, so she’s likely to pick up on PC things, so people reacting to that or getting to know her through that, would be fabulous!
SCENE-DOS: I will prose or action spam until the end of time. I’ve no problem throwing her into danger, romance, injury or whatever, so long as it’s well done. She won’t be looking for love, but friendships will be sorely needed.
SCENE-DON'TS: Well, many people don’t take well to empaths (since she’s up in their heads and all), so I’m pretty used to negative CR. However, if we could stick to the mostly positive side of things initially, until she settles in. She’s been through some shit and needs to regain a little faith in humanity.
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: Talia will be keeping the locals calm and focused with her Empathy.

I DON'T KNOW THE CANON AT ALL OR IF SHE WOULD BE COOL WITH HIM, I know you said she's probably wary around men, but Arthur is a low-grade telepath and he wouldn't freak out about an empath or having feelings picked up on. :|a If she's having a hard time of things he'd probably try to help some, and they both live in the water sector.

Mari || Favrielle nó Eglantine and Bryn Zethir

CHARACTER: Favrielle nó Eglantine
CANON: Kushiel's Legacy
PERSONALITY: While canonly Favrielle's been known to sharp and judgmental, her time in Keeliai has proven to mellow her out somewhat. A great deal of that harshness was attributed to her baggage with being permanently scarred and seen as flawed goods, thus changing the path of her life permanently, that same scar means little, if not nothing to those here. The lack of pressure has allowed her to meet and interact with people more neutrally to start. Only those whose personality or manners grate on her, or somehow offend her personally may find she has a prickly nature. Those who interact with her on a business level will find her professional, and see signs of confidence and arrogance, earned and deserved in her opinion. Being D'Angeline, of course, she does have a soft spot when it comes to matters of love, romance, and things of beauty, it can just take some time to get to it.
CURRENT STATUS: Favrielle's business has been bustling and doing quite well, enough that she's taken on help and is in the middle of scouting out new locations so she can shift it out of her suites. However with the rationing and decay coming up that's not going to happen for now. I haven't been doing as much with Favrielle lately, however it can be assumed she's been spending time with Alcuin, Dorian, Inara, and really any of her CR. She did kiss Bruce finally during his birthday party and he...left her on the dance floor after. So it can be assumed she's been somewhat more irritable lately not knowing what in the hell is going on with them now.
CR GOALS: My goal this month is to try and cover both her social life things and also have her shift somewhat out of her business. Her work is her greatest love but she definitely will be trying to pitch in to help so...basically my goal is to get her out of her usual clothing-making mode and doing new things. I need to shake things up with her basically. And if an opportunity comes up to put her in the middle of something dangerous or something that may get her hurt...so much the better. :>
SCENE-DOS: I love characters talking about each other, about other people they know, social matters, matters of the heart, though Favrielle's more inclined to do that with people she already knows well. Slice of life can be good, activities can be good. Action type scenes can be good if plotted out in advance. And of course opportunities for the usual socializing/flirting/etc is always welcome.
SCENE-DON'TS: No hurt/comfort without clearing it with me first, please. I'm totally fine with Favrielle getting hurt, or helping others who are hurt, but scenes with a lot of panic or emotional meltdowns are something I have to pick and choose carefully.
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: I need to do another reread of the event post, however for Favrielle I expect she will be forced to work less with the prices of fabrics going up or becoming more scarce. Work on pre-made garments will cease for the time being, and she'll continue to work on anything ordered, but prices may reflect the change in circumstances. My goal is to get her out there doing things to help so I'm going to be brainstorming to get her out in Keeliai more and being productive toward helping with the stockpiling or planting or something. She's not meant for hard labor but I'd like to get her out of her workshop more.

CHARACTER: Bryn Zethir
CANON: Original (Askoupur)
PERSONALITY: Ahaha oh god. Impressionable, glass-is-half-full, overly trusting party girl, raised as nobility but struck out against tradition and decided to explore her country instead of becoming a priestess or joining the military. Drinks a lot, tends to have a more liberal attitude. Can split into three copies of herself at will and loves nothing more than to be surrounded by friends.
CURRENT STATUS: Bryn's currently working for Bruce Wayne as a gopher or whatever else he needs, has become friends with Lord Henry Wotton who is being a subtle but bad influence on her. Has made several friends actually, including Grantaire as a drinking buddy/friends with benefits thing. Basically working and seeking constant amusement during her off-hours. Aaaand she met a dragon which was pretty frickin' awesome.
CR GOALS: I am pretty sure that my goal with Bryn is to have her hang out with her CR more, get into the bad kind of trouble, get into the good kind of trouble, and basically just throw her at anything to see what sticks.
SCENE-DOS: Bryn is my more anything-goes character. I love throwing her into social drama, giving her people to flirt with, people to drink with, and all kinds of trouble to get into. Have a character who could be a bad influence? Bring it on. Have someone who could be a good influence? Sure, lets balance things out! Basically I want ALL THE CR with her.
SCENE-DON'TS: I like slice of life scenes but ones that drag on too long should be avoided pretty please. Same as above, hurt/comfort should be cleared with me first. I'm fine absolutely wrecking Bryn, but I'd prefer advance warning if you want her in a supporting role for that.
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: Bryn's probably going to help with the people settling the patches of land outside the city, but I'm not entirely sure. Open to suggestion!!

I was telling Alcuin's mun how I've pretty much devoured the first trilogy in two months and I've been really itching to play off of characters from it, haha.

I think Wally here'd be best for it (only because Noh-Varr's just a very... very odd alien boy).

Has she had much experience with superpowered people on Tu Vishan yet, or no?

CHARACTER: Soranik Natu
CANON: DC Comics - Green Lantern Corps
PERSONALITY: Sora's an abrasive, extremely talented surgeon and a proud member of the Green Lantern Corps. She mellows out around patients and those she's close to but has issues opening up and allowing herself to be emotionally vulnerable. Also has a crap load of Daddy Issues.
CURRENT STATUS: Starting up a free clinic for transports and anyone else who wants to come by out of her residence. She'll be announcing it's open and working sometime soon and that she'll start teaching basic first aid classes for anyone who's interested.
CR GOALS: Any and all CR! Positive and negative, since her attitude and arrogance oftentimes makes it hard for her to have a good start with people. But I love seeing that develop into positive CR over time so if anyone's interested in that, hit me up.
SCENE-DOS: EVERYTHING.
SCENE-DON'TS: I can't think of anything I would rather not write out or log, but if you think it might be questionable or don't know how I'd react - please feel free to ask!
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: Soranik will be using her ring to see if there's anything medically wrong with Tu Vishan and coming up with absolutely nothing. It'll make her more than a little annoyed as she can't use her skill to help. As for the rationing - her supplies might stretch a bit thin, but she's more than willing to compensate for that. I haven't decided what other job she could pick up, so if anyone's got an idea for some CR in a certain job, let me know.

Chloe | Alcuin nó Delaunay and Randolph Lyall

CHARACTER: Alcuin nó Delaunay
CANON: Kushiel's Legacy
PERSONALITY: Alcuin is an utter sweetheart who doesn't have a bad word for anyone or anything. He's probably one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, seriously. He's also a trained courtesan and spy and far more intelligent than anyone gives him credit for.
CURRENT STATUS: Alcuin has been working for Favrielle's dress shop and making friends. He's now one of Les Amis (an honorary member) despite the fact that he's still not all that sure about the Republic. He's also having trouble sleeping and suffering from post-traumatic stress due to the fact that he died violently.
CR GOALS: MORE FRANDS!!!!! Um. IDK other than that. Possibly him opening up to someone about his uncertainty about his life, death, and everything... and his trauma. I don't know if that will happen, though.
SCENE-DOS: Fluffy adorable sweet things are always good. Intellectual conversations! I like those. Even if I feel outclassed by his brain. ALSO PEOPLE MISTAKING HIM FOR A GIRL IS STILL FUNNY.
SCENE-DON'TS: I'm not looking for any really negative CR right now. Alcuin isn't in a position to make enemies and he will be trying to do the opposite of that.
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: Alcuin will really want to help, but feel like he doesn't have the skills to do it. I believe Favrielle's dress shop will be going part-time because of the limits on luxuries, so he'll try to find something productive to do with his time. He's not really strong enough for physical labour, nor does he have any particular scientific skills, but he wants to do something to help the turtle.

CHARACTER: Randolph Lyall
CANON: The Parasol Protectorate
PERSONALITY: Randolph is a very urbane werewolf. He likes fish, tea, cravats, and studying sheep husbandry. It's difficult to ruffle his feathers, and he's a friendly enough fellow, and very polite.
CURRENT STATUS: Randolph has been working at one of Bruce's clinics... and not doing much, honestly. He's in some kind of weird situation with Dorian and Toby that he is not all that comfortable in but putting up with for the sake of Dorian's curse-breaker powers that let him stay human for the full moon.
CR GOALS: I need to do more things with him! He needs more CR badly, of any kind I don't even know.
SCENE-DOS: Friendly scientific discussion, polite arguing, getting Randolph to do undignified things, I don't know I'm open for practically anything.
SCENE-DON'TS: Cannot think of anything!
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: I don't have any particular plans for Randolph for this event but I am open for anything! He'll be concerned about his cravat supply.

CHARACTER: Arthur Curry | Aquaman
CANON: DC Comics
PERSONALITY: Arthur is sort of what you'd expect from a former King; he's kind of cranky and pompous, and prone to occasional bouts of sad because all his fambly is dead. But he's also very determined and loyal, and he's considered to be generally a good leader. He's not afraid to step into leadership roles or organize things, and once you have his friendship and respect, he will pretty much stick by you. He can be pretty loving, though he might not show it very obviously, and even occasionally affectionate. He's also considered to be fair and honorable, generally a good guy, though he can be hard to get along with if you're another 'alpha male' type. Or if you hate royalty. Vive le monarchy.
CURRENT STATUS: RIGHT NOW Arthur is still pretty new to the turtle and settling in with Mera, getting to know Kaldur, catching up with his Justice League bros, etc. He's getting a feel for the turtle, talking to kedan in the water sector, chatting with the fishes, all that good Aquaman stuff. Other than the event, he doesn't have a whole lot going on personally right now.
CR GOALS: I definitely want to try to get Arthur out there more / talking to more people in general since lol newbie. He doesn't like being considered the newbie and he wants to get caught up on stuff / talk to people in the know / talk to people in general, so meeting anybody would be great. I'd also really like for him to talk to/meet a bunch of the other superheroes and anybody with ties to the ocean. WHERE ALL THE WATER-FOLKS AT?
SCENE-DOS: I don't really have any preferences on network vs log or actionspam vs prose. :|a Arthur's more likely to get out there and talk to people face to face than he is to do things on the network, though, since he doesn't think it's secure enough in general. I also don't mind negative CR if things go that way! He's kind of a jerk.
SCENE-DON'TS: I am honestly good with just about anything.
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: Arthur talks to fish. That's his thing. So since he talks to fish and lives in the Water Sector, he's going to be picking up distress from the marine life early into the event and will probably make a post about that / 'there's something wrong with the water'. A few days in, after being generally frustrated at all the fishy death, he's going to try to communicate with the turtle and get whacked in the brain because he's smart like that. Mera will probably be there to haul him back, but if anyone else would like to witness his dumbassery, during or after, or if anyone wants to try to talk him out of it, you're more than welcome!

As far as the rationing and stuff goes, I think he's probably going to join up with the A-Team (by that we mean Atlantis Team obviously, waterbreathers unite) and do a bunch of ocean fishing to boost food sources. He's pretty knowledgeable about fishing and marine life in general, so he might also try to help with underwater gardens and all that.
ADDITIONAL: TLDR he's the goddamn king of the ocean and kind of not smart sometimes.

Kiki | Damian Wayne, Bucky Barnes

CHARACTER: Damian Wayne
CANON: DC Universe
PERSONALITY: Eleven year old who was trained an assassin and raised to rule the world until he was ten. Not nice, but has been growing into mostly decent, and has a soft spot for children. And he's taken up his father's mission of protecting those who need protection well enough to heart. (Also very good at fighting and strategy and languages and music and art and decent-ish in detective work and tactics.) He may, on occasion, be a walking, talking trigger for child abuse.
CURRENT STATUS: Damian had a close run-in with deciding that his mother was right in teaching him to not care about anyone, after losing Dick... twice, in different ways, but then he's been getting better, since. Thanks to Steph and Kyle, and Annabeth... He's paying attention again, but is still more likely to be quiet, stalkerish, and subdued. (For him.)
CR GOALS: Turning him into a real boy. He's contrary and argumentative, so negative CR is easy (easier, really) and not unwelcome.
SCENE-DOS: Pretty much anything. Teaching Damian lessons (they don't have to be taught nicely either) is always a go, but far from limited to that. Seeking out/figuring clues about the situation, adventures, just about anything. (He's unlikely to subject easily to fluff, now more than ever, but it might be interesting.)
SCENE-DON'TS: As usual, no angst for only angst's sake (some of it happens, and that's okay! Beautiful even. Just not making it the focus of stuff). No 'ships, because eleven. ;)
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: Damian will be dedicating some of his day hours to helping people who have permission to use the palace library, should he be allowed to do so, to try and find solution. Since he's made some progress with the language. He won't be asking for payment for research purposes (though his reading/translation will possibly be imperfect). He will adapt to the rationing easily, though he may be complaining about it some. Because he's eleven.

CHARACTER: Bucky Barnes
CANON: Marvel Cinematic Universe
PERSONALITY: Outgoing, determined, ladies' man, and a little sharp, Bucky's an orphan from Brooklyn who grew up with the man who was to become Captain America, became a soldier (and part of a special team) during WWII, and then... fell off a train. He's also been around since August, and he's working hard on bridging up the information and technology gap.
CURRENT STATUS: Bucky's been trying to help out where he thought necessary and that he was up to helping, but he's also been mentally smacked a bit, first during the zombie event and then after Natasha told him about - how his story didn't end with the fall from the train. He's still dealing with some of that, though he's doing better.
CR GOALS: I'm always up for doing new things, but I also love the CR that I've had with him so far. Basically, anything goes. Maybe getting him involved with things that are not all sweetness and light, hi, Loki, Inception folks... yeah. I'm here.
SCENE-DOS: I'm good with just about anything. Teach a 1940s soldier about modern things - and attitudes - sure. Those who are further behind learning from him or alongside? Sure. Spoiler him for what's to come... yep. Slice of life, action, romance, fighting, sadtimes, humor, positive CR, not-so-positive... You name it. I'll likely do it. Both action and prose are also absolutely fine.
SCENE-DON'TS: Again with the no-angst-for-angst's-sake. Most other things, let me know, and I'll likely be up for them!
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: Bucky will be giving in extra hours of work wherever may be wanted. He's no specialist, but he's a fast learner.
About the rationing itself... he's used to it. Though he's so likely to sneak food to Steve, if it comes to rationing of that.

CHARACTER: Tarrlok
CANON: Legend of Korra
PERSONALITY: He's a politician with a hero complex who needs to get all the glory and doesn't like taking orders from anyone else. He's a little underhanded and does whatever it takes to get what he wants. However, to a certain extent he did really want to be a good leader, but he spent too long dwelling on his own issues until he felt like the pain from his past entitled him to better than others. Since discovering that Amon is his long-lost brother he's gotten a bit of a reality check and is making an attempt to be a better person, but he's still bitter about his bad childhood experiences. He has trouble opening up emotionally and would rather act like everything is fine even if it makes his problems worse.
CURRENT STATUS: He just got back after a few months of being gone, so he's a little disoriented. He also found out the truth about his brother and is now trying to keep him in line (as if that'll work out) but the revelation that his worst enemy is actually his brother isn't something he's been taking well.
CR GOALS: There are a lot of new characters here since he was here last so I know this isn't a very specific answer but - really, anything. I want to get him more involved and invested in the community so he's a little less tempted to just stay inside and be upset, especially since he'll probably find out about his death in canon eventually at which point he'll be pretty conflicted about whether or not doing anything here is actually worthwhile.
SCENE-DOS: I'm fine with either network or logs, and while I slightly prefer actionspam for logs I'm alright with prose too. He probably won't be doing much in the way of fluff, but plot-based and drama is all good.
SCENE-DON'TS: Not much, really, I'm up for anything.
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: He's going to try and do something leadership-like. I'm not sure what he's going to do yet in the way of actual work.
ADDITIONAL: Nope!

CURRENT STATUS: So far? Not much besides being rather irritable and spying on everyone from the rooftops. I think I need to get him more involved... when I get back.
CR GOALS: more people to argue with. a deepening of his current CR, maybe his CR discovering he's kind of a zealot (and not the cool SCII kind)
SCENE-DOS: everything, although I struggle with kind of casual 'man the weather is lovely today isn't it?' conversation, mostly because I don't see him as the type that would indulge it in without a reason.

THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: Being rather grumpy and tired of dealing with shit, he'll be rather annoyed at the rationing and intrigued by the decay. CURRENT STATUS: About to be in jail wrt to the cloning thing! (Stay tune to the OOC comm for details.) Also about to organize relief efforts when she gets out of jail, because Nita is an inveterate helper let her help you.
CR GOALS: I'm going to be absent IC for a week and a half, two weeks because MOVING, but with the decay event, there's going to be a lot of opportunity for Nita to work with people she hasn't run into socially, because big community efforts to forestall crisis are something she's canonically really good at. So even if you can't think of anything, if you're looking for an excuse to talk to someone new, you have my enthusiastic permission to say Nita hooked you up.
SCENE-DOS: I prefer action but can manage prose fine. Nita IC doesn't hover on the network, but network threads are fine. ...Honestly I'm really mellow about RP lately.
SCENE-DON'TS: Relentlessly negative CR is just exhausting with this character, so unless there's a chance of at least moving it to "ambivalent" territory, that's something I'd prefer to avoid.

Ororo does not match up with the elegant image of Storm that you might know from other incarnations of Marvel. This one is young, sassy, and borderline prejudiced against normal humans due to the heavy-handed treatment of post humans (read: mutants) in her world. Those that tolerate her sass sometimes get a glimpse of a good moral compass beneath that defensive exterior.

CURRENT STATUS:
Mostly, she's been working with the farms just outside of Keeliai to tweak weather patterns and avoid crop damage. Beyond that, she's been tentatively involved with the Young Allies group, is supported Hellboy's BPRD initiative. She's also looking at starting a drama group to put on adaptations of circa ~nineties movies for the sake of those (TOBY) that missed the boat.

CR GOALS:
Ororo's been fairly distant with everyone and hasn't really connected with characters the way she did with the X-Men. The fact that she's the only one from her canon makes her a bit standoffish, which is working contrary to a goal to have her develop closer CR. Looking for friends and people that will push past her shrugging things off. She's a character that deals well with being called on her sass and, frankly, could use that.

SCENE-DOS:
Open to a variety of things with Ororo, from flirting to fighting.

SCENE-DON'TS:
There's not much here? I'm not skilled at writing romance, but that's about it.

THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING:
She will work harder with the farms and likely start pulling longer hours to try and keep the weather things on the level. That said, she also has part of a set of plans that lead into the Palace of Landed Sky and could potentially coordinate with going in to take supplies if it's perceived that the Emperor is being unfair with this. She's a former car thief, so it's not like her moral compass has always pointed north.

CURRENT STATUS: Being a bad influence on Alcun and Bryn. It's Complicated with Dorian. Meeting more people, some of who, know stuff about him (Steve, Reid), others who don't.

I'd like to get her involved a little more with some of the meta plot stuff, and she could probably stand to hang out with les Amis and talk politics and philosophy with them. And anyone else who's into that stuff. I'd like to find a way to get her into some kind of an adventure or intrigue.

This is pretty much the longest time he's ever gone in his entire adult life without pummelling a supervillain in the face and he's... adjusting to it and actually becoming a slightly better/marginally less pathetic person.
CR GOALS: I'd really like to build up some long-term close CR with people outside of his cast? Bruce has some really great cross-canon relationships, but they're hard to cultivate because he's an incredibly insular person, and I'd like to expand on the ones I have and strengthen the ties he's made in the last few months. I'd also like to forge some new ones? There are a couple ways to go about this – putting characters in a situation where they're forced to rely on one another, or starting out with casual conversations and building up over a longer period. If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, let me know? BRUCE IS VERY BAD AT BEING A SURLY LONER.
SCENE-DOS: I love writing action-based scenes, goal-oriented logs (actionspam or prose, I'm cool with either) and things that force Bruce to actually show his more compassionate side (I promise he has one it's just. Buried beneath layers of Issues). I can do slice of life things with him, but it's not my favourite thing, unless it's leading to a goal further down the line?

Kind of in limbo? I think he's therapizing a few folks. Beyond that, fuck knows. I think he's just going about his daily routines and massively repressing his issues because that's how adults deal with their problems.

CR GOALS:

I kind of want to expand on existing CR a bit, just because he's kind of a hard character to make do anything unless a) a crisis is shoved in his face, or b) he has people around he actually feels comfortable talking to.

But ALSO. I still welcome new CR of all kinds. I think socially he does best with people who are quite... Even and know how to deal with people who aren't especially, shall we say talkative or expressive? But he can bounce off most people in one way or another.

SCENE-DOS:

I'm pretty amenable aside from the stuff below, I think. I also really guiltily enjoy people telling Terry off for being unreasonable, even if he doesn't always... take it to heart.

SCENE-DON'TS:

UM. Threads that I can't easily figure out where they're going and feel like they're dragging along with no point to them are difficult for me. Similarly I accidentally discovered I don't especially enjoy slice of life (which makes getting out of this rut a bit hard hahaha...)

I'm also a bit hesitant to actually play out any therapy stuff, just because I'm really not a counsellor and that involves the kind of stuff that can have a real impact on character development. I can hit the books and do the occasional thread if anyone really wants to, though?

THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING:

I THINK. He'll adjust pretty easily, I mean he doesn't spend much or enjoy many luxuries (except coffee.) I think he'll be kinda concerned about Tu Vishan and try to help out around the Earth sector with upkeep and suchlike. (Terry vs manual labour. Spoiler alert: manual labour wins.)

PERSONALITY:

Sassy killer with a heart of... I don't know, stainless steel? Basically he's not nice or good, but he's personable and he's not unreasonably horrible. A roll with the punches kind of guy.

CURRENT STATUS:

Catching his bearings, mostly. Getting a feel for what Keeliai is like, where the gang activity is. What people are around. Also trying to backread the network without his eyes rolling so far back into his head that he goes blind forever.

CR GOALS:

Connections. Reno's not really a... Friends. Kind of guy. I mean he's amicable and it's not as if he doesn't like people, but his priorities are in figuring out as much as he can about this place. Either enough to get home or enough to arrest some kind of control over his situation. He's not stupid enough to think that's something he can do on his own (not that he wouldn't prefer to) so, you know.

Also. Drinking buddies.

SCENE-DOS:

As above, I'm fairly easy. Outside of threads where I can't get a feel for where they're going or where they might go, I can work with just about anything.

SCENE-DON'TS:

I can't imagine it'd come up anytime soon, but Reno's not a character who works particularly well with hurt/comfort stuff. Unless the brand of comfort is getting drunk and/or punching things.

THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING:

I think he'll be pretty curious about what's going on, and is gonna jump on anything that gives him a chance to explore how things work around Keliai or let him explore without drafting him into any long-term commitments.

CR GOALS: I'm still pretty new here so I don't have a lot to say on this matter at the moment, other than the fact that I want to her established and talking to people. She's kind of hard to get along with but finding people patient enough to deal with her shit would be nice, but I also definitely enjoy clashing with people that aren't!
SCENE-DOS: I'm open to getting up to a wide variety of things. I'm still getting her established here so beyond that I don't have much specific in mind right now. Also I don't mind doing prose or actionspam depending on your preference, but I do tend to prefer actionspam when given the choice.

CURRENT STATUS: Getting adjusted to the turle and getting to know her husband's fellow Justice Leaguers.
CR GOALS: Developing current CR and building new CR are both good. I don't have any set goals in mind but I would like Mera to get to know more people.
SCENE-DOS: Anything at all.
SCENE-DON'TS: Well, obviously shipping's out. Since she's married. But I'm pretty okay with anything else.
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: She won't be happy about the change in the water and the dying sea life. She and Arthur are probably going to try to figure out what the hell's going on and I have a post in mind for her once the plot begins. She'll most likely be working with the other water breathers in whatever they decide to do.

PERSONALITY: Pete is your average teenager, if your rubric for "average" includes things like "uses his superpowers to fight crime on the side" and "regularly makes a spectacular fustercluck out of his life" or maybe just "he is pretty much as socially graceful as a timid puppy." Seriously he will pretty much bend over backward to try and make sure his friends get adjusted as best as possible to life on the giant inter-dimensional turtle, and especially so for anyone new around the same age as he is (or in Mavis' case: someone who SEEMS like they're around the same age). He gains a lot more confidence when he's in the Spider-Man costume though, as well as this really annoying problem with being completely unable to look the other way when it comes to bad guys doing bad guy things.

CURRENT STATUS: Currently aimlessly doing stuff. And slowly getting used to the whole "Ava knows me but I don't know Ava" thing. Alternate realities are annoying, man.

CR GOALS: Down for pretty much anything.

SCENE-DOS: I'm alright with pretty much anything you can think of. But SOMEBODY PLEASE GIVE THIS BOY A HAPPY LIFE, lord knows I won't. He's usually so busy trying to make sure things are nice and happy and great for the people he knows that he pretty much forgets to deal with his own multitude of issues. Or just deliberately avoids doing so.

SCENE-DON'TS: I'm fine with negative CR, but I don't ever want it to just completely outweigh the good stuff.

THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: Pete will be trying to help out with the rationing as best he can, and by night he'll definitely be going around as Spider-Man making sure nobody (kedan or otherwise) is trying to steal a little extra.

PERSONALITY: Hedonistic immortal antihero. He is selfish, self-centred, vain, arrogant, and amoral, just to start on his bad traits. But he is also an aesthete who loves beauty, learning, and mysteries, and he can be kind when it suits him. He soaks up experience like a sponge and is a total sensation junkie. He likes meeting new people and trying new things. He is also very attracted to the supernatural. His personality is very mercurial, so he might go 19th century charming gentleman on one person and 21st century callous bastard on another.
CURRENT STATUS: He is settled with a job and friends and a strange continued moral crisis. He is having slightly more success learning the language thanks to friends but not tons of it.
CR GOALS: Develop CR for sure, deepening the relationships he has (for better for worse) but new CR would be great too. Very open to both negative and positive CR. He tends to deserve the former a lot anyway.
SCENE-DOS: I find I tend to prefer face-to-face, though network is workable. I am into all the genres!
SCENE-DON'TS: Not many, especially for Dorian. He is pretty much available for the full gamut of human (and inhuman) experience.
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: I want to do something useful and helpful with Dorian! And he'd even vaguely want to be helpful but he has no idea how he could be (Useless Victorian Gentlemen R Us).

On a personal level, he is going to survive it (he has done WWII before, kids) but he'll probably be more reliant on sex and vampirism to substitute for alcohol and cigarettes.
ADDITIONAL: It's easiest to find him at night now, and only for certain hours. He canonically chooses to ignore pretty much the entire world once he gets Toby back into his life, so I'm making a conscious effort not to let him do that by trying to give him lots of outside things to keep him engaged.

He's also mentally unstable, often falling into fits of melancholy, going somewhat comatose, having nightmares and being afraid to sleep alone, and is terribly afraid of lizards. Will not hesitate to kill your ass, though.
CURRENT STATUS:
So, after Finnick's little breakdown, he's started up a fishing business with Jack's help, and that's been going along nicely. It's not a huge thing at the moment, but it gets him by.
CR GOALS:
I'd love to continue working on the CR that I have with him, but I love new CR too. More people for him to be (~._.)~ at. Does anybody want to be sex buddies? edit: Oh, I'd love for people to figure out that he's actually married. And Hunger Games babbies, I'd like for him to find out about him being a daddy soon :|b

Finnick tends to lend himself towards everything. I love both networking and face-to-face stuff! And I've been exercising my prose muscle lately, so I'm good with prose or action. Come at me, bros.

PERSONALITY: Grantaire is a drunk cynic, but the alcohol keeps him jovial. He's very social and amicable (when he's drunk), but that doesn't keep him from being sarcastic, snide, and kind of a jerk. Mostly because he doesn't give a shit what people think of him (here's a secret: it's a facade). He's a genuinely good person underneath the bitterness, he just has poor social skills and a jaded perspective on the world around him.
CURRENT STATUS: He's going to be going through shades of withdrawal with the coming shortage, so he'll be grumpier than usual. He's generally hanging around with his friend group though, and his Mistress friend with benefits, Bryn.
CR GOALS: I'm pretty open, I'm better at taking ideas and developing them than coming up with the idea on my own, so feel free to shoot some my way.
SCENE-DOS: I love angst, which is good because under his drunk bubbly, R is an angsty fuck. That said, I'm starved for some fluff. I can do prose and brackets, I'm good with either, but I get wordy with this little shit sometimes.
SCENE-DON'TS: I don't really dislike anything possibility-wise, but I'm the least motivated person when it comes to slice of life threads. If your character isn't being proactive in a slice of life thread, neither is mine, and it's going to be a dud.
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: I mentioned this above, R is going to try to find additional work to fund his addiction, and be somewhat withdrawing.

PERSONALITY: Noh is an alien, plain and simple. A lot of Earth customs elude him and he has a tendency to think his people, the Kree, are superior to humans in almost every way. This doesn't make him combative over it, though - he's of the "humans are children and need protection from themselves" mindset. At the same time, he's a little wary of humans right now. He did some things before arriving at Tu Vishan and he made some enemies on Earth. He doesn't shy away from social interaction, but he probably comes off as very awkward to people he interacts with.
CURRENT STATUS: So far he's just been tinkering around in the Metal Sector, trying to put together little things with whatever technology he can find. He's offered to help with the construction of the radio tower and he's also part of the team that discovered the cloning facility under Tu Vishan. As of yet, his work consists of fixing small things for locals.
CR GOALS: I think I'd like to just keep him interacting with people individually or in small groups. That seems to work best for him. Other than that, I'm open.
SCENE-DOS: As stated above, I'm open to all options with him. His past is very weird and complicated, so he probably finds little that would disturb him (on top of the fact that his body has been modified to do some very strange things).
SCENE-DON'TS: There isn't anything I'd avoid with him. I will say physical confrontations are not my forte in terms of writing, but I'm not going to say "no" to them outright.
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: Noh will probably take a very cool, level-headed approach to the decay. He'll try to help out where he can and investigate. If any of the Kedan start blaming the foreigners and possibly attacking, though, he'll do what he can to stop them.


CHARACTER: Wally West • Kid Flash
CANON: Young Justice
PERSONALITY: Bright and energetic speedster with a bottomless stomach! He's flirtatious, friendly, into the sciences, and claims not to believe in magic. This model comes complete with insecurity issues over his powers compared to his uncles and he can have quite a bit of a temper. The price for this model is all the CR.
CURRENT STATUS: Okay, so in all seriousness, he is new-ish here. Or rather, he thinks he's new. He's been here before, but since I pulled him from an earlier canon point this time, he has no memory of his previou stay. He's yet to start working and I honestly have no idea what I'm gonna have him do in that case.

Also, he's dealing with all the apparent heartache that he's not New Earth's Wally West.
CR GOALS: I had this funny little realization after I app'd him here this time: he can speak (and probably write/read) French. I know the spoken-language barrier is nonexistent here for foreigners, but I've heard there have been issues with writing for some of the characters of French origin? SCENE-DOS: I do have a slight preference for Network interaction right now over Logs. I won't really put limits on him, in terms of content, since he's a pretty bold kid and likes to think he can handle anything. So really, throw anything my way. I'm good with it!
SCENE-DON'TS: I want to avoid Wally doing the superhero thing in threads right now. He'll still be doing it, going on patrol now and then (but I'll probably handwaive all that).
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: Wally is probably going to be freaking out a bit once he hears that the giant turtle they're all on is sick. He can lend scientific help where it might be needed, but his knowledge is limited.
ADDITIONAL: I know that last time he was here, Wally was going around calling himself "Kid Flash." I do feel that was a mistake on my part as a writer, but I'm gonna deal with the consequences of that somehow. Right now, Wally's going to be maintaining a, "What, me? Kid Fash? A superhero? Pfthahaha, yeah right," stance.

CHARACTER: Cassandra Cain
CANON: DC Comics
PERSONALITY: Cass is a young woman with a bloody, complicated, difficult past. This doesn't make her particularly grim, though; she cherishes the life she has now, and is intent on finding new ways to enjoy it. She doesn't say much, but she always means it when she does. Many references will go past her, and she's often straightforward, but she can definitely be cheeky.

Her history makes her keenly sympathetic to people who've gone through something traumatic, and done things they regret. She's not judgmental or spiteful. She knows people intimately, due to her ability to read body language; she knows there can be goodness, or at least the potential for goodness, in most everyone.

She doesn't trust the Emperor, but she loves Keeliai - it's her city, now, as much as Gotham and Bludhaven were, and the kedan are her people to protect.
CURRENT STATUS: She's exploring the mountain mines at the moment, but she'll be back by Tueday, tired but happy. She's part of Stephanie's group of teen vigilantes, as Blackbat. She works as a gardener in Wood Sector, and at a small cafe in Earth. She's always open to teaching people what she knows, irt fighting. (It has never even occurred to her to charge anyone.)
CR GOALS: I'm always trying for a mix of developing old relationships and forging new ones! Cass, unfortunately, never had many friends in canon, so I'm always happy for her to find more of them. She's often patient, though she can be quick to cut through bullshit. She could definitely bond with anyone who went through abuse as a child, and/or ran away from home, or who has guilt issues, or chose to be the opposite of what was chosen for them.

It'd be cool to see her in an antagonistic relationship with someone too, though!
SCENE-DOS: I'm good with either action spam or prose! Either network or action is fine too, though I think Cass is better with the latter. As for types of scenes - anywhere the scene goes is fine with me. Cassandra still has a lot to explore and experience.
SCENE-DON'TS: None, really.
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: Cassandra's main concern, I think, will be keeping the Wood Sector alive, as much as she can. She'll probably volunteer to help with crops. Rationing...she'll get on board with it, but she won't like it, at first. Her instinct is still to eat as much as she can when she can.

PERSONALITY: Uh basically he's a seriously violent, seriously racist elf who's been fighting THE MAN (aka humans) for a century of commanding guerrila commando units and living in the forest and eating nuts and berries like a freak. He doesn't really understand the definition of polite or friendly?
CURRENT STATUS: Living in his tree and being glad the snow is gone. He hangs out in a tree on the outskirts of the Wood Sector that he has set up traps around the perimeter because he's super friendly :| He's also working at one of the lumber yards/carpentery places half because he wants to afford more lumber for his le tree house and half because he just wants something to do. He doesn't actually go into the city much if he doesn't have to :|
CR GOALS: Oh pffft, his cr is awesome currently, and i love any kind of cr, positive or negative (lolol as if that wasn't obvious :'|), so mainly just MORE OF IT, tbh.
SCENE-DOS: I usually like to stick to action spam and network threads, but Iorveth himself is a character that need more log action, I think, seeing as he is not a social butterfly :|a Still, I'M COOL EITHER WAY. Mainly, though, action spam is the favorite. Uhm, as for what kind of scene, shit, idek, I like everything :'3

CANON: Doctor Who
PERSONALITY: A space hipster, a rude busybody, a chatty Kathy, and, above all else, a helper, the Doctor is an 1100 year old toddler with a god complex the size of Russia and guilt out the wazoo. Essentially, he's a huge dork with too many feelings and twice the heart of the average hero.
CURRENT STATUS: Still curious about all the things in Tu Vishan, and wandering about in order to sate this curiosity. He probably accosts anyone he sees in the street, so there's that. He does odd jobs, too, fixing this and that when he's around.
CR GOALS: HE'S SUPER NEW SO JUST CR IN GENERAL? People he can help are especially lovely. The Doctor is the sort of person who needs to feel useful or he'll drown in his feelings. Other than that, I'm boring and like everything, including negative cr because he's rude and childish and more people should call him on it.
SCENE-DOS: Everything! The Doctor's a big talker, over the network and in person. Like I mentioned earlier, he'll approach anyone even if they don't want to be approached. Pretty much anything goes — small talk, shenanigans, angst, etc.
SCENE-DON'TS: Nothing in particular comes to mind. His IC reaction to things will vary, but I'm up for anything.
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: The Doctor will be scanning everything with his sonic screwdriver and accosting even more people as he traipses all over the turtle. Mostly, he's curious, and hasn't decided on a proper course of action yet.
ADDITIONAL: The Doctor is great at keeping up with cr. He'll take the time to come find a particular person and do something special with them. SO IF YOUR CHARACTER CHATTED WITH HIM IN HIS INTRO he'll keep an eye out for them and go looking for them if he doesn't see them around. With the shortage going on, he'll check up on all of his acquaintances to be sure they're doing well, too. If you want to thread this out or handwave stuff happening, just let me know.
