Hello, chelonauts! This marks the start of our six-week interval for CR With Me memes!

As usual, when plotting out any CR potential, please be as specific as you can! 'Our characters should go for coffee next week' is going to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for better than 'omg tag me.'

Mind that the form is still a bit different, including the two recently added sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! We've also added a bit for plotting regarding the upcoming Decay of Tu Vishan event and longterm impact (rationing).

A reminder that the main portion of the Decay event will kick off March 19th, but there will be longterm effects felt all over Keeliai -- so feel free to plot into the future!

CHARACTER: The Doctor
CANON: Doctor Who
PERSONALITY: A space hipster, a rude busybody, a chatty Kathy, and, above all else, a helper, the Doctor is an 1100 year old toddler with a god complex the size of Russia and guilt out the wazoo. Essentially, he's a huge dork with too many feelings and twice the heart of the average hero.
CURRENT STATUS: Still curious about all the things in Tu Vishan, and wandering about in order to sate this curiosity. He probably accosts anyone he sees in the street, so there's that. He does odd jobs, too, fixing this and that when he's around.
CR GOALS: HE'S SUPER NEW SO JUST CR IN GENERAL? People he can help are especially lovely. The Doctor is the sort of person who needs to feel useful or he'll drown in his feelings. Other than that, I'm boring and like everything, including negative cr because he's rude and childish and more people should call him on it.
SCENE-DOS: Everything! The Doctor's a big talker, over the network and in person. Like I mentioned earlier, he'll approach anyone even if they don't want to be approached. Pretty much anything goes — small talk, shenanigans, angst, etc.
SCENE-DON'TS: Nothing in particular comes to mind. His IC reaction to things will vary, but I'm up for anything.
THE DECAY OF TU VISHAN/RATIONING: The Doctor will be scanning everything with his sonic screwdriver and accosting even more people as he traipses all over the turtle. Mostly, he's curious, and hasn't decided on a proper course of action yet.
ADDITIONAL: The Doctor is great at keeping up with cr. He'll take the time to come find a particular person and do something special with them. SO IF YOUR CHARACTER CHATTED WITH HIM IN HIS INTRO he'll keep an eye out for them and go looking for them if he doesn't see them around. With the shortage going on, he'll check up on all of his acquaintances to be sure they're doing well, too. If you want to thread this out or handwave stuff happening, just let me know.

Basically: loyal puppy cr right here, folks.

I would love to do things with Reid and the Doctor? Given the whole... fanboy thing and all. Any chance they could work on trying to figure out the decay together?

Yes, excellent. Do you want to just have them run into each other and then start chatting about the decay?

I would love to continue Temeraire's CR with the Doctor, if you're up for it! If he wants a dragon's-eye-view of the turtle as he tries to figure out what's going on, Temeraire and Combeferre will probably be planning an expedition and he's more than welcome to come along assuming he can put up with their well-meaning 19th century talk about humours and miasmas!

After Nita gets out of jail (I'm on hiatus) she's going to be putting out a call for technical types, because while she herself isn't dumb, her real strength is organizing and getting weirdos to work together.

Okay, haha, more seriously, I think it'd be interesting for Noh and The Doctor to interact. He's pretty much a time-space traveling alien and he's a big ol' teenager who's awkward around other people.

I'll probably be throwing up a catch-all log for all the things, so if you want to have them randomly run into each other there/have the doctor approach him, we can do it there or elsewhere, or we can do something else entirely. I'M UP FOR ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING.

I failed at keeping up with my tags after I got sick, but DON IS DEFINITELY INTERESTED IN YOUR GUY? if it's okay.

Don'll be spending most of his time running around Water Sector after the decay starts trying to figure out what's up with the minerals in the water, so if the Doctor's down there scanning anything at that time Don may take the opportunity to try and figure out what he's doing, human-looking or no.

we could totally set up something with them running into each other. she isn't going to be going on land sadly, so she will more than likely just be creeping around where she can on the shell for a bit. :)
