[As much as he wants to talk more with her it would be better to do it in a place they both know is safe. Like something with a ceiling and walls that keep out flying lizards.]

I admit though, I don't know this part of town at all. I came this way because of the screeching lizard. Lucky for me I found you along with it.

[Connal looks around again. Cities aren't really his
favored terrainexpertise but finding a building to hide in shouldn't be too hard.]To be honest, I wasn't paying attention to where I was running.
[He gives a sheepish smile and shrugs.]

[Time for another adventure! This time Conall starts heading the way he saw Mirath come.]

[Mirath grins in return and falls into place beside him, still keeping an eye out for the creature but glad to have her buddy back at her side. She can't help but glance his way from time to time, even if she tries to hide it.]

[It's her turn to blush. Just what does he mean by that. There's a few ways to take that statement and all of them have her embarrassed. Mirath lets her hair fall to cover her face and glancing to the street, away from him.]

[And she found out her knack for animals and nature went further than the forest she'd spent her years in.]
By the time I got back you were long gone, so I went looking for you.
[But like she said earlier, the trail was cold.]
Everywhere I went, more people appeared that needed help. Before I knew it I'd been gone for months and still people asked for aid. I found myself in good company though; a group of allies who promised to help me in exchange for me helping them.

That's the thing isn't it? People need help and we help them. Guess that's what got me where I am.
[He falls behind slightly, never taking his eyes off her.]
Which...which is why I think I have to go back to the Underdark. Things are bad there. People need help. Which means I need to help them or I'll never forgive myself.
[And the babbling has began.]
But I don't want to go, because I just found you again and all I want to do is stay with you. Except I just can't leave everyone behind but that means I'm leaving you. Either way I hate myself for it and I'm not sure what I'm even doing anymore...

[Mirath smiles, a cloud of feelings in her but determination to do what's right.]

[Realizing her arms are still half around him, Mirath lets him go and steps back. There's nothing like a hug dragging out a little too long to make things awkward.]

[This shouldn't bother him. Actually it doesn't bother him. Connal suddenly feels a lot of things in a short amount of time. He knows he shouldn't and it's nothing and he's overthinking but...well she's never taken him to her room before.]
