Tony likes Zatanna. She's fun. She's clever. She's funny. He doesn't know what he thinks about the whole magic thing, but that's less to do with her and more his lack of experience and knowledge about it.

Castiel doesn't fault Midii at all for her reaction to him. He knows that the truth of Heaven (insofar as he knows it) is tough for people to hear. By her reaction, he assumes that she's someone with a lot of faith and he just wishes that the angels could actually live up to it instead of being the disappointment that they are.

Castiel has a pretty positive opinion of Julie. She didn't freak out when he said he was an angel. She didn't berate him for not doing enough to right whatever wrongs happened in her life or for life being the way that it is. She just accepted him so far and he's happy with that.

Gene's cool. A little standoffish, but not off-puttingly so. It's a little weird for Tony, since Gene knows another version of him and Tony's still kind of touchy about alternate realities, but he's trying to get over it and not being a douche to Gene is part of that. He also thinks that he probably ought to try being his friend (as much as he can be) due to them being friends in Gene's reality. Or so he thinks.

Booker's got a kind of no-nonsense approach that Castiel really gets behind. He doesn't know exactly what he's talking about all the time, but that's okay. He's getting dependable Bobby-esque vibes from him, and that makes him someone that Cas will want to talk to again.

Tony on Natasha?

Tony's kind of conflicted about Natasha. On the one hand, he knows her, it seems like she's actually from his world, and they've saved each other's lives enough. But she's still a SHIELD operative and he doesn't trust SHIELD at all. I think the SHIELD affiliation is always going to leave him with a tiny bit of wariness of her. She's the one to go to for espionage and government coups though, and he definitely wants to use that somehow for his rebellion plans.

Tony on the Archive and Betty on the Archive? If either of them have opinions.

Betty definitely understands why she works with Bruce. She's calm and noninvasive and she seems as serious about work, and everything else, as Bruce is. Or the Bruce that Betty knows, anyway.

Tony is determined to get her to loosen up. That whole "destined to be a thing" idea just rubs him the wrong way. He doesn't really understand the full ramifications of what being an Archive is, but he believes that there's a person underneath it all. And because he sees it, he feels like it's his job to get her to see it too.

Which reminds me we need to do more with them.

Tony recognizes some of himself in Clara, which is a shame and not something he would wish on her. But he likes knowing there's someone who understands the nightmares but doesn't feel the need to talk about them. They can just kind of be awake and avoiding them together without acknowledging it, which for him makes it easier to bear a little.

Tony’s a little weirded out by Thor. Not because of anything personal, but because he’s from some other reality and clearly knows a version of Tony and Tony’s been having an existential crisis over the whole thing alternate reality/clone business. There’s a part of him that suspects that Thor’s going to be disappointed in him for not measuring up to whatever the Tony Stark of his world is like. So he feels extra pressure not to be a screw-up and measure up to this imaginary standard of whatever Thor’s used to dealing with because he wants him to like him.

At first Tony was wary of Loki, because the Loki he knows is bad, crazy news. But Loki’s different. Or at least he acts different. And Tony’s not stupid, he knows that he’s supposed to be the god of lies and that everything Loki’s been telling him could be some big lie to make him think that he’s all right. But Tony’s also aware that people have a tendency to live up or down to expectations. If everyone thinks that Loki’s some scary evil liar, what’s to prevent him from being just that? That’s what everyone’s going to assume anyway, so he may as well lie and kill people and start wars with aliens. But if people believe something else, maybe he’ll be better than that. Maybe he won’t, maybe he’ll just disappoint everyone. But maybe he will be better than a liar and a murderer.

Tony’s also a big proponent of second chances. He got one. He feels that Loki deserves one too. At least, alternate reality Loki deserves a chance until he proves that he doesn’t. And so far, he’s been harmless. Mischief isn’t evil, and if it doesn’t turn bloody, it won’t be. So far, Loki’s a cool kid. Maybe misunderstood. Definitely with a sense of humor. And Tony likes him.
