break out the teal deers!

THE CR TL;DR MEME

HOW IT WORKS:

1. List your character(s)!
2. Others respond with "what does your character X think of my character Y?" or some variation.
3. Respond to them! Break out those teal deers!
4. Generate some discussion about your CR!
5. PROFIT!

OKAY UM

has Tony's perspective of Bruce changed since arriving, especially in regards to what he saw in Death?

I think we've talked out Betty and Bruce enough, so... Aside from that, what does Tony think of Willow? XD

It hasn't really CHANGED. He knows more about Bruce now, gets him better, and he feels like his opinion of the Hulk has been validated by what he saw in Death. He never saw the Hulk as a bad thing, and now that he knows that he's tied into trying to protect Bruce from harm, he's even more convinced that the Hulk is a positive addition to his life. Not a negative one.

Tony thinks Willow really needs to get laid. Not because he doesn't understand that she's grieving, but because he recognizes it and doesn't know how else to deal with it. That's his method of coping, and since that worked for him (not really but he thinks it does) he wants to pass it on. He likes her, but he's also kind of confused by her taking even a remote interest in his life. Who does that????

Bruce is so thrilled about that perspective. lol. WHAT ABOUT their relative levels of closeness? We've sort of touched on talking about this before with how much they open up to each other, but... idk. TL;DR MORE. They've seen each other pretty vulnerable by now and I feel like that does alter the tone.

LOL that's so understandable from Tony's perspective and so way off the mark for what will work for Willow. He should get used to her caring because I don't think Willow knows how to turn it off.

Seeing more Bruce's vulnerabilities made Tony more inclined to trust him. Not that he really had much problem with that, but it was kind of like proof that the weird faith he had in him upon meeting him was justified. And it let him be more open in turn. He's getting the sense that he can reveal his own vulnerabilities on his own, without having to wait until it happens out of his control. He could tell him about the reactor and kind of hint around about Afghanistan of his own volition. I think Tony's feeling comfortable enough with Bruce to kind of vaguely acknowledge to himself that he's closer to him than he is to anyone else. The only one he opens up to more than Bruce now is JARVIS, and he's sharing him with him too, which is HUGE.

I don't think he'll ever get used to it. People don't really openly care about him. He doesn't know how to handle it.

Awwwww. Bruce totally gets how big a sign it is that he'll hint about traumatic things without being forced to, but he's clueless on how significant JARVIS is. XD He just likes him and thinks of him as a co-conspirator in making sure Tony doesn't stay traumatized in his shower forever.

We so so have to do more with Willow once I'm off hiatus because I feel like there is much potential in confronting Tony with someone that openly cares. xD
