Castiel has a pretty positive opinion of Julie. She didn't freak out when he said he was an angel. She didn't berate him for not doing enough to right whatever wrongs happened in her life or for life being the way that it is. She just accepted him so far and he's happy with that.

NEW FAMILY. Someone who gets what the end of the world is really like! Ellie has quickly learned that a lot of the people on the turtle are from worlds way healthier than hers. So having Julie there as someone who immediately understands, and doesn't seem quite as jaded as all the people she already knows... she's okay with that. Grateful, even, to be kind of taken under her wing for the moment, while she sorts herself out.

So, they'll do family things and Ellie will go out of her way to help her, because, well, she still needs that sense of family, even if she doesn't quite realize it.

Julie's helping to keep her calm after Joel's left.

Zee definitely considers Tony one of the more fun "adults" on the Turtle. She wouldn't mind a rematch sometime, either. Maybe even pop over to Stark Industries one day just to say hi. Because that's something she would do.

And Midii...yeah. Poor child is conflicted because she's torn between Logic and her understanding of Belief, which may or may not be flawed. It's not so much Faith as it is...she was always told this one thing about God, and spent her entire life thinking one thing, only to suddenly be told another. Something that...shouldn't matter, and yet, finding out that something she always thought was supposed to be a Benevolent Protector is just another Soldier...that was a bit hard for her to swallow. :(

Bruce is so thrilled about that perspective. lol. WHAT ABOUT their relative levels of closeness? We've sort of touched on talking about this before with how much they open up to each other, but... idk. TL;DR MORE. They've seen each other pretty vulnerable by now and I feel like that does alter the tone.

LOL that's so understandable from Tony's perspective and so way off the mark for what will work for Willow. He should get used to her caring because I don't think Willow knows how to turn it off.

Monet was going to dismiss Ellie as just another plebe but the comment about the zombies is sticking with her. She has a lot of sympathy for kids who have it hard and she can understand why Ellie would find her annoying, but she doesn't quite care (or hides the fact that she does), and she doesn't think Ellie'd be willing to tell someone like her anyway.

Shepard is fascinated by Aya, the way she is with all synthetics (see also: her friendship with Legion). I think part of it stems from the fact that Shepard sees herself as part-synthetic now, or at least she's trying to deal with the ramifications of having cybernetics in her body, so that leads her to seek out connections with synthetic life forms.

Basically, she wants to talk to ALL THE ROBOTS, and Aya is getting caught up in that. *g*

Gene's cool. A little standoffish, but not off-puttingly so. It's a little weird for Tony, since Gene knows another version of him and Tony's still kind of touchy about alternate realities, but he's trying to get over it and not being a douche to Gene is part of that. He also thinks that he probably ought to try being his friend (as much as he can be) due to them being friends in Gene's reality. Or so he thinks.

Most of Aya's initial acquaintances are fairly neutral. She sees Shepard initially for her rank, and assumes her to be another high-ranked official worthy of respect. Which she will happily give. The fact that Shepard is initially speaking to her so freely, without apparent judgement, is a huge step in her favor. Consider Aya's past with such prejudices.
