I predict a riot...

Hey, Keelial... So, things have been getting a bit quiet recently, so...

Who wants a riot?

Yes, that's right. This Saturday, there's going to be a riot in the Courtyard of Public Opinion, spilling out into surrounding areas. People on-scene will notice several loud noises, followed by a cloud of dust spreading to cover the whole courtyard.

In the confusion, anyone who has inhaled the weird black dust will start feeling very strange... Their tempers will rise, people will start arguments at the drop of a hat, then start physically shoving, punching, kicking, which will, ultimately, evolve into a full-blown riot after about an hour. The longer they stay in the cloud, which will dissipate after 15-20 minutes, the more violent and agressive they'll be.

This affect will also affect Foreigners in the Courtyard at the time.

If anyone's thinking "Leon, this sounds familiar..." You'll be right! The black powder is actually the drug Dust weaponised into bomb form. This means the Foreigners and Kedan affected will essentially have no real control over their actions, as their negative emotions are directly affected by the Dust.

Ideally, I'm looking for members of the Police Force to get stuck in, try to calm people down and get the injured off to the Healer's Guild. Also, anyone who knows any kind of first aid, magical or mundane, would probably be a big help to the Guild during this.

Shay Cormac is going to be one of the first on-scene and call it in for the cops. He's going to recommend people come with gas masks or similar, or avoid the Dust clouds.

Please feel free to use this post to plot and ask questions. Alternatively, feel free to PM this, or any, of my character journals.

Fletch would be a bit hesitant, but if he can prove himself, he won't have a problem.

Although, there'll be some questions asked afterwards.

Canonly, Conan knows emergency treatments for stabbing and several kinds of poisoning. I would not be surprised if he knew quite a bit more.

If he sees someone injured he's likely to treat first, and worry about any questions later.

...He'll explain that he saw a documentary about it on television once.

Well, depending how proficient he is, Fletch'll probably call bullshit, jsyk. He's a trained nurse, after all!

Go for it! Conan doesn't get called on stuff like this nearly enough.

Of course then he'd have to explain that he took the effort to learn all of this because he at home he runs across violent crimes several times a week just in the course of his everyday life. If he could save even a few...

I'm sure the line of questioning will lead down some interesting paths.
