Since this looks like it's going to have much larger fallout than we'd initially expected, here's a collective plotting post for players to make plans, rather than having it spread across multiple plurks.

but also he'll be speaking to Raine and Skulduggery and maybe a few others to try and spread word that the Justicar killing people literally before their time to hopefully get the idea out that Something Is Wrong, but like, subtly. He doesn't want his name attached to that rumor, just for it to get into peoples' heads.

OH RIGHT. He'll also be poking around to get more information on how the families stand in respect for the dead and things, and whether they'd care that they're housing someone who breaks natural order. It wouldn't do any good to play that card if they just don't care.

Raine will definitely advocate stopping and thinking.

Not not doing anything, per se, but making sure everyone is aware of possible/probable consequences and is acting in full knowledge of those. Because it isn't fun when cities getting set on fire is a surprise.

DON'T GET ME WRONG KLAUS WILL STILL WANT TO SEE SOMETHING DONE ABOUT THE BODIES because corpses + heat = major potential for disease. But yeah, knowing all the shit that's happened in the city he's just like "let's not accidentally a war here."

So Yuri might actually make an assassination attempt following the plan to steal away and bury the bodies. Depending on the Justicar's reaction.

But like a lot of other people Yuri is going to be very angry about all this and he kinda has a history.

In other words, Gene does not like that plan and will try and dissuade Yuri/stop him by force if he finds out about it. :V

Valdis is going to be very upset about about the executions, not just because the emotions associated with being executed are different than with other deaths, but because of how the bodies of the dead are being treated.

She will try to steal the bodies so that they can be given a proper burial. She expects fallout, but will either try to pin it on the cultists or on herself. Since she can't die, she doesn't see a problem with the Justicar's forces trying.

Please comment if your character would like to be involved with this inadvisable plan or if you just want to say 'Valdis no'.

Enj would be really well suited for drawing up a support campaign for Valdis if the consequences really fall down on her. He might organize a rally, etc if needed?

So China's come into some information! I'm linking a pastebin of the pm, because while China is cagey, this is actually going to require a bit of discussion and that's easier than paraphrasing.

I'm starting this off by talking to Arno, here, and since China knows about Brave Vesperia and is specifically avoiding her castmates for this endeavor, that's a relatively high possibility.

This is a; an excuse for me to expand her cr, and b; an excuse to get people working together.

What do you guys think? I'm really open as to what to do with this, but we're definitely gonna need a place to put them.

Cain doesn't have enough information around the city to have anything that could be considered a secured asylum for any of the deserters. However, as the one who's taken to approaching the network and the foreigners as a whole, if he becomes aware of this he'd definitely work toward finding safe lodgings and offering to take part in continuing investigations, as well as poke for other foreigners who are delicate enough to aid this.

...actually getting in touch with Cain will be the interesting part, because hahaha, China and Cain.
