Tom uses the computer at his tree house to talk to people, but lives in Earth Sector with Bucky, so he'd be looking in the wrong place. Which could be amusing. Just don't break his house, Kyle.

Hm would it be visible/public enough? Because otherwise it's too easy for him to write it off as another random sword, not specifically one he might be interested in.

Haha that would depend on how quickly his partner shut him up. Toro's the kind of guy who would want to be all: "OH MAN LOOK A THIS AWESOME SWORD I HAVE. I DON'T EVEN HAVE TO LIGHT IT ON FIRE MYSELF." Because he loves showing off random things he finds to people.
