This can be a great opportunity to build new CR or reinforce established relationships by the discovery of the item(s). Sabriel isn't exactly nautically inclined, but she's fairly sensitive to magic, and might pick it up?

That could work! The magic's there and anybody who's so inclined can probably sense it but it's a bitch and won't let non-oceany people actually use the ~special water powers~ (comics). THIS COULD LEAD TO SOME INTERESTING CR considering Arthur has a lot of personal issues with the dead being raised if the whole necromancer thing ever came up.

Well, Sabriel isn't exactly keeping that a secret, although she generally insists she uses it to make the dead stay dead when she mentions it.

Heeee probably wouldn't think so logically about it at first tbh, he got brought back from the dead and was present-but-zombied when some more zombies killed his son. :T Like he won't get violent or anything but there might be dirty looks.
