Welcome to the newest edition of the CR Meme!

For players who've joined us since our last meme, these ~~~bimonthly~~ extremely sporadic memes are our opportunity to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're interested in for your characters in coming months. Because of this, we do ask that you be as specific as you can when replying to this meme! 'Our characters should team up to moon Usayi' is more useful than 'omg tag me.'

We have two helpful sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to, and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! We've also got a section for indicating what kinds of CR you're especially looking for, as well as types of threads you're not interested in.

CURRENT STATUS:
Zelos is pretty much booked for March for oh so many reasons. By the end of the month, though, he'll be an angel! That means glittering intangible wings he can pull in and out at will, and the ability to survive pretty much anywhere by turning off biological functions like breathing and pain. He's bartending at the Midnight Hotel, and otherwise generally making a nuisance of himself probably.

CR GOALS: Spoiler alert: I've never played an openly flirty character before. I'd love to play around with that to boost my confidence a little! Aside from that -- especially given Zelos's canon point, the fact that his only real company for most of March will have been a man he really doesn't like, and that he met his bestie Lloyd during fourth wall who is now gone again -- he needs friends. People who challenge him usually fit that bill. ~~Looking at you, Pepper.~~

SCENE-DOS: I usually default to prose, but especially with Zelos and my academic life lately, I'm trying to get in the habit of more actionspam, since that usually comes a little quicker. Threads with direction and a purpose are going to hold my interest longer; small talk or 'let's see where it goes' threads I historically struggle with.

SCENE-DON'TS: Hi I'm running a large-scale research study and writing a thesis this year. I'm going to have limited time and energy for RP, so I am going to avoid the aforementioned small talk and 'let's see where it goes' threads if I can help it.

yeeeees more Miles and Zelos things I'm in full agreement. I kind of like the idea of Miles doing some investigative journalism and dragging Zelos along for the ride. Or Zelos just. inviting himself. >.>

ftr if Zelos found out he was directly competing with a Foreigner-run business he would go seek Jackie out at his bar and be like 'hey I didn't know before I started but now that I'm committed I'm going to be so much better than you.' healthy rivalry CR?

Danny works maintenance at the hotel. We could probably organize a run-in if you're interested in CR with him. I'm completely canon blind, so no idea whether it would go positive or negative.

oooooh yes that would be cool. Danny Phantom was my go-to show for watching after school and I feel like CR between these two could kind of go either way. I'm happy to organise a run-in next month and see how things play out :3

I'd be all for that! Zelos would be all for that too, for about as long as he doesn't know how old she actually is. (he has problems with four thousand year old angel people, let's put it that way.)

Nope. Heather is an Immortal from the movies/TV show Highlander, so she doesn't want anyone to know how old she is. She's quite content with people thinking she's 22-ish.

But yes! Clients/lovers... she's always on the look out for them.

I'm mostly canon-blind to that I'm afraid, but... something something chopping heads off? I get that. :P And I doubt there's any way for Zelos to find out without her saying so, so we should be good!

Zelos would be totally happy to fill either of those roles, just sayin'.
