hey! it's time for a cr with me meme! Welcome to the newest edition of the CR Meme! For players who've joined us since our last meme, these ~bimonthly extremely sporadic memes are our opportunity to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're interested in for your characters in coming months. Because of this, we do ask that you be as specific as you can when replying to this meme! 'Our characters should team up to moon Tu Yunxu' is more useful than 'omg tag me.' We have two helpful sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to, and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! CHARACTER: Simon Tam / pompous_today
CANON: Firefly

CURRENT STATUS: I have been SERIOUSLY slacking on this game, so Simon's just... been quietly working at the Guild and working on his and River's house, yes.

CR GOALS: I need more CR. I know that's unhelpfully vague, but I'll be making an effort to branch out. Simon is available for wound care, medical advice... that's his big strength.

SCENE-DOS: I'm up for lots of things- medical stuff, chatter, even negative CR since Simon can speak before he thinks sometimes.

SCENE-DON'TS: My only hard nos are smut and shipping for the time being. He's still attached to Kaylee at this point, and while I'm fine with characters flirting with him, it won't be reciprocated. I'm also awful at writing fight scenes, so I'd like to avoid those even though it's probably not gonna come up often.

ADDITIONAL: I try to empty my inbox once a day, but I don't always get to it, as I tag from work on work days. If my speed doesn't work for you, I'm not offended at all if you'd rather not tag me! I definitely want more CR for all of mine with Simon. Conan needs to talk to him, now that they're not in the middle of a riot. The other two need to get to know him better too.

Simon is most definitely curious about Conan after their first meeting. He's rather concerned that a small child is apparently that self-sufficient. XD

....Learning more about Conan's life is probably not going to make that concern go away.

Most likely not. For now, Simon is chalking it up to cultural differences between worlds and figures that maybe, where Conan comes from, kids are allowed to roam on their own...
