hey! it's time for a cr with me meme! Welcome to the newest edition of the CR Meme! For players who've joined us since our last meme, these ~bimonthly extremely sporadic memes are our opportunity to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're interested in for your characters in coming months. Because of this, we do ask that you be as specific as you can when replying to this meme! 'Our characters should team up to moon Tu Yunxu' is more useful than 'omg tag me.' We have two helpful sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to, and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! We've also got a section for indicating what kinds of CR you're especially looking for, as well as types of threads you're not interested in. Oh, Kylo...you should have been here when the big bad was in power, now that was chaos. Though there does happen to be a 'Goddess of Chaos' running around the turtle...and she has an A+ plan for waking the turtle.

If training is something that Kylo wants, Valdis has a ton of experience with combat and she teaches lessons at the Dojo. She could even do private lessons if he would prefer that.

Welllll considering they are all *on* the turtle he might not be so convinced that waking it is a good idea (what if it shakes them off? or tries climbing something? or rolls over?!) But some chaos is always a good thing in his book!

I think he would be interested in training with her, though he is currently very wary of Valdis (and what he sees as her bid for power via police force. He can't brain people doing things for honourable reasons.)

Maybe we could tie that together with Cultist things, like maybe her confronting him about the cultist investigation leading to them talking about training, or her taking him on as student and thus digging around a bit what he's been up to in the city?

He is right to be wary of her, tbh. She is a Hellhound after all, but she is mostly a good one.

I think that would be excellent, but I'm not sure she would actually approach him out of the blue over it. Maybe they both end up investigating the same place and bump into each other?

Sounds good! He'll be hanging around the palace a lot, investigating the dungeons/sewers/shady parts of the gardens by way of his player plot, and that might lead to their paths crossing?

Oh, Valdis is going to head into the sealed chambers beneath the palace for her player plot, so this could get incredibly interesting

Ooooh! Yes! Kylo won't find any sealed chambers (as of yet, there's more plot to be revealed to me) but while looking for an entrance to the dungeons, he'll find a part of the sewers accessed via gardens, where the cultists might have a stash of goodies.

She spends a lot of time in those gardens, so it is entirely possible they would bump into each other at that location.

I think I'll wait if I hear back from the mods soonish on the next part of my player plot, there might be something useful for us in there. And then we can run into another in the gardens :)
