hey! it's time for a cr with me meme! Welcome to the newest edition of the CR Meme! For players who've joined us since our last meme, these ~bimonthly extremely sporadic memes are our opportunity to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're interested in for your characters in coming months. Because of this, we do ask that you be as specific as you can when replying to this meme! 'Our characters should team up to moon Tu Yunxu' is more useful than 'omg tag me.' We have two helpful sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to, and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! We've also got a section for indicating what kinds of CR you're especially looking for, as well as types of threads you're not interested in. CHARACTER:Valdis / redlightgreenlight
CANON: Original

CURRENT STATUS: Valdis is dealing with the consequences of deciding to head the Police Force, she is a bit overwhelmed by the process and almost regretful that it is taking her away from her other endeavors. She is still working at the Dojo and hasn't reduced her hours much despite the demands of the Police force. She does intend to pursue the Cultists again, but that has been placed on a side burner in favor of her newly hatched plan to find out what happened to the turtle.

CR GOALS: I want to pursue the new CR that Valdis has discovered and continue to nurture her close CR. I want something new though, something different and exciting, or something out of the norm for her. I would kind of like to explore her softer side a bit, I don't get to bring it out nearly enough.

DIPLOMACY DEALINGS: Police Chief...She's having fun with that.

SCENE-DOS: PLOT! Always plot. Plot is my lifeblood. I particularly like explosions, drama and chaos. (Ask me about my latest idea concerning the Turtle, it's awesome and I would love co-conspirators.)

SCENE-DON'TS: I am not great at slice-of-life...

I'd like Gene and Valdis to have a heart-to-heart at some point, instead of being strictly business. I think that would be fun.

Considering their last heart to heart was after she/the Void almost killed him, I'd say that they are overdue :P

Ok, so Valdis theorizes that they can't wake the turtle unless they know what Malicant did to the turtle. So she wants to go back to the Ritual Chamber and try to possess the Turtle from there to find out what exactly happened. Perhaps Yorda could help with that, since past and stuff. It would be pretty dark and traumatizing though...

Yorda would definitely want to help. Provided things are explained beforehand so she can mentally and emotionally prepare herself, she should be okay. I doubt she'll come out of it unscathed but she has some experience dealing with the whole sacrifice and horrible death and soul mutilation thing.

Valdis would be sure to tell Yorda about it, she isn't keen on going back considering what happened last time, but she feels it is necessary and I might be a bit bored. But yeah, it was pretty bad and Valdis wants people to be informed of what they might be getting into. We will have to reward request it for any developments though.

Yorda would definitely choose to help - especially now that she's getting some moderate degree of control of her magic. If mods approve it, I'll throw up a reward request for yorda to do her memory schtick there and maybe see if there's other stuff she'd pick up on.

Mag is Bisi's warframe. It's robot she controls by merging her soul with.

I'm afraid that my view has been pretty narrow the last few months, what with plot and police force and new job, but I am very open to new CR.

Hahaha, Valdis is actually a Hellhound, but her hound form resembles a wolf the size of a horse!

Kylo is working on Cultists things, though he's still in the early stages, so when Valdis gets back to that it might have their ways crossing again? If she's still got her ears on the ground regarding it, she might have heard that he's been asking an awful lot of questions about them.

I'm sure that she has heard about it if he's been asking lots of questions, so she'd definitely wonder what he is up to. I hope to have her tackle the Cultist problem again soon, so I would love some more interaction with Kylo.
