hey! it's time for a cr with me meme! Welcome to the bi-monthly edition of the CR Meme! It's been a busy six months since the Foreigners have returned to Keeliai, and even in that span of time, plenty of things have changed! Here's a good place For players who've joined us since our last meme, these ~bimonthly memes are our opportunity to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for your characters. Because of this, we do ask that you be as specific as you can when replying to this meme! 'Our characters should team up to moon Tu Yunxu' is more useful than 'omg tag me.' We have two helpful sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to, and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! We've also got a section for indicating what kinds of CR you're especially looking for, as well as types of threads you're not interested in. But yes! Duke is all aboard for the healing magic thing. Let him nerd forever with various magic theories and... idk. He will happily learn.

I need to throw Sion the guild's way because he has pain issues! So. Sometime. maybe a couple of times, him, healer's guild, he has migraines and headaches and pains he won't bring up because he's accepted them as "not going away"....

The turtle has a fair bit of backstock in dumb boys. It's okay, Raine's used to looking after them. :P

I'm up for more magic nerdery. Did you maybe want to explore the altered artes they were talking about earlier?

And I'm probably going to put a catchall up within the week -- hopefully -- so I'll include a general Guild starter. If you want to drop Sion on that...

Though, she's not going to be able to do anything magical. :c

Yes! More nerding. Although I don't know if Duke will be at his magical best because I had something blow up in his face (Yuri's hauling him to the clinic, idk who wants to have very confused duke times-)


IDK if Sion is sad or relieved by that? Most of the magic in canon is outright offensive, combat-buffs, or like "here, lets put a magic circle in your brain so you're stronger. Ooops, you got the side-effects of being blind. and deaf. But now you don't need those senses because you can tell what's going on around you with magic!"

Wow, Sion's canon kind of sounds like a terrible place, yeah. Mmmm. I'm not sure about directly threading this out because Raine's failures to heal have been kind of wearing at her and I haven't had a chance to deal with that for her yet? But. It's definitely an option and we should definitely do things.

Well, if he just mentions he has a headache water isn't getting rid of, she could probably point him at a mundane help first? He'll just eventually come back with "now that isn't quite cutting it" because his other problems are flaring or something and he's not sharing that.
