hey! it's time for a cr with me meme! Welcome to the bi-monthly edition of the CR Meme! It's been a busy six months since the Foreigners have returned to Keeliai, and even in that span of time, plenty of things have changed! Here's a good place For players who've joined us since our last meme, these ~bimonthly memes are our opportunity to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for your characters. Because of this, we do ask that you be as specific as you can when replying to this meme! 'Our characters should team up to moon Tu Yunxu' is more useful than 'omg tag me.' We have two helpful sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to, and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! We've also got a section for indicating what kinds of CR you're especially looking for, as well as types of threads you're not interested in. Cain was going to have an open catch-all soon, so I would be happy to make something more tailored to just the two of them meeting up. What kind of habits does Toph have and/or where can she be found most of the days?

YEAH THAT'S PRETTY MUCH IT. She'd register as more kedan to Cain than foreigner, but if she started displaying symptoms of betrayal etc. and getting skittish around him, he'd soften up to her.

I'd probably stage this after her canon update, so she'll probably form some new habits, but stuff that would remain consistent would be earthbending/metalbending training daily, as well as an open offer to make metal tools (or other items) at a price. Beyond that, I suspect she'll really be keeping an ear to what's going on with the landing party on the 8th. Hm. Hit any chords? (Will probably say that I've done the earthbending/metalbending training a few times before, so I'd like to find some kind of twist to it to keep it fresh if we go in that direction.)

Lapis is definitely easy to make skittish. XD That one won't be a problem at all.

Ooh, I can definitely go with that. Cain would like something a bit more protective than a switchblade on hand if things are going to go down south like everyone is fearing so he can watch out for people, so if he hears there's someone doing metal-products on commission he might approach her on how she feels about weapons! If that's a no, he'd probably think of something else to ask for.

Then we shall have to see when they can meet up!

What kind of weapon are you thinking of? Might take her a few tries, just because I know there's a level of art going into that sort of thing to make sure balance is right and so forth, but she might appreciate the challenge of that, too. Toph likes to keep growing in her abilities.

He may also have to bring the metal, as metals are a commodity on the Turtle, generally taken from whenever it makes land.

I have a couple of places to tag in and some tags to catch up on, so it won't be immediately, unfortunately, but maybe I can tackle that catch-all that you just put up with Lapis?

Toph I may end up making a catch-all for once she's canon updated.

Most likely an actual knife/short blade of some sort. He isn't looking for anything fancy, just what will get the job done. If he has to bring his own metals he'll take that as a challenge, tbh... and it'll give an excuse for a second meeting later, too! :D

Absolutely sounds good for Lapis, and yeah, I hear you. No worries on waiting for Toph or, like, anything. We've got a whole month, yeah?
