hey! it's time for a cr with me meme! Welcome to the bi-monthly edition of the CR Meme! It's been a busy six months since the Foreigners have returned to Keeliai, and even in that span of time, plenty of things have changed! Here's a good place For players who've joined us since our last meme, these ~bimonthly memes are our opportunity to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for your characters. Because of this, we do ask that you be as specific as you can when replying to this meme! 'Our characters should team up to moon Tu Yunxu' is more useful than 'omg tag me.' We have two helpful sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to, and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! We've also got a section for indicating what kinds of CR you're especially looking for, as well as types of threads you're not interested in. GREEN RIVERS

CHARACTER: Klaus Von Reinherz
CANON: Blood Blockade Battlefront

CURRENT STATUS: Klaus has been doing the books and reconciling accounts at the hotel and also just started holding a steady job at a small flowershop in the market district. His main concerns right now are the Chihulean invasion, the turtle sinking, and more recently the cultists have been brought to his attention.

Klaus is Deeply Concerned. He'll generally be keeping an eye on the Chihulean situation.

CR GOALS: Klaus has been in the city for a month so he's got his sea-legs. He's met people. Most kind of know him as that big ginger bloke with the weird teeth. I'd like to get him involved with more plotty events now that he's situated and not like “New world??????? What???? Bees???????????????”
SCENE-DOS: Anything from slice-of-life, player plot, main plot, sparring, knitting, fighting evil by moonlight. Klaus is a bit nosy curious so it's not hard to get him feasibly involved with stuff.
SCENE-DON'TS: IDK this isn't really the kind of game I would have anything requiring a giant NOPE label.

I know we aren't done with our current thread, but I will require more interaction between Lapis and Klaus. I sense potential for cute interaction.

I'm glad to have him meet Toph at some point here too. XD

Edit: Should also note, since I was reading other entries and saw it up above -- Lapis has also lived for thousands of years. (Forewarning that she can't remember some of it due to the ongoing series, but.) If that's an interest for him. Unknown if Gems have a set lifespan, but they can live for many thousands of years at least.

Klaus would be genuinely interested in her experiences on homeworld and in the mirror and just in general be really interested in the whole sentient gem thing.

Awesome. ^^ She won't be able to share a lot about Homeworld until that comes clear in canon (I'm playing it as though the Dreaming is messing with her memory), but he could probably get her to talk about being a Gem.

magical girl sentient gem is just as interesting as other planet so Klaus will definitely be intrigued!

I'm especially interested in the cooking nonsense we floated, but either Klaus and Raine or Klaus and China have entertaining potential.

Especially if Klaus goes back to China re: jokes on Solomon's recommendation? idk. Hi.

Cooking thing would definitely be awesome (I can start a thread for it this week if you're feeling it 'cuz ahhhh I love Raine)

Also I remembered about the solomon thing JUST as I hit post comment and was like "oh well, I bring it up in the next reply" so yesss.
