AC Plot Reward: Is the Turtle Alive?
Due to a reward request, I have received some information that I plan to share ICly with all the foreigners and the major NPCs through a mutual vision. The vision is graphic and related to the deaths of the five baby turtles from before Malicant's defeat. I have included the information under the cut, but will warn that it is pretty intense.
When Valdis attempts to make contact with Asti, she will receive a blast of a vision, as if a residue of Malicant’s presence has interfered with her making actual contact. This vision is of the five now-deceased hatchling turtles. They are contained in the old throne room, and robed and hooded kedan line the walls like silent guards. The hatchlings are clustered together, and even in this fugue state, Valdis will be able to feel the terror rolling off them. They're all calling telepathically for their parents for help, but there are no answers from any of the Foreigners; they're all unconscious, knocked out by Malicant's magic.
Malicant's presence is heavy in the enormous room, although there is no physical shape that he's taken. Despite the lack of an evident body, the reverberating voice fills the corrupted marble space. TELL ME, he says, repeating it over and over until it becomes a constant, terrifying drone that shakes the room. The hatchlings keen in pain as a great heavy force is pressed down on them, cracks appearing in their shells, soft tissue being slowly crushed.
TELL ME THE LAST SECRET! TELL ME WHY THIS HUSK CONTINUES TO REMAIN!
Despite their terror, the hatchlings are either refusing or incapable of answering. One of the hatchlings, although Valdis is not able to tell which one, has its body crushed, and the normally-peaceful aura of life of a Great Turtle is snuffed out in an instant. The four remaining hatchlings panic, trying to escape the room, but they are corralled by Malicant's presence and the robed kedan.
TELL ME! Malicant's voice roars, and then the lingering aura will fade and Valdis will find that only a few minutes have passed

Also, this is all optional, your character doesn't have to receive the vision if you don't want them to and that is fine.
