hey! it's time for a cr with me meme! Welcome to the bi-monthly edition of the CR Meme! Now that we've gotten settled into the new storyline, it's time to start heating things up in the big turtle city. For players who've joined us since our last meme, these ~bimonthly memes are our opportunity to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for your characters. Because of this, we do ask that you be as specific as you can when replying to this meme! 'Our characters should team up to moon Tu Yunxu' is more useful than 'omg tag me.' We have two helpful sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to, and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! We've also got a section for indicating what kinds of CR you're especially looking for, as well as types of threads you're not interested in. This month, we have a special addition called Landfall Plans: Zeshora Edition. Tu Vishan will be landfalling to the continent of Zeshora for the first time since the Foreigners appeared in this world. A scattered island chain, much of its former civilization is said to be now underwater. (More information will be coming in later OOC posts about the details of the landfall, so this is just for general plottings.) lmao yep I share the sentiment, it's been good all around. Hiro's just gonna have to get used to the whole magic thing. And it's funny w/ Midii because like...Hiro just by circumstances hasn't HAD a lot of interaction with kids his own age, because he was always in class with the older ones, so he has no clue what to do.

Also, I do wanna follow up on Aya and Hiro network/encryption stuff probably at some point, tbh. Nothing specific in mind yet but yeah.

Zatanna can deal with "having to get used to". It's better than outright calling her a fraud.

Midii's extra funny when you realize that she's only gotten to interact with a handful of them herself. She's a war brat who only had one friend for the longest time (it didn't end well), and then there were a few kids in Keelai, and they've all left since.

I would love to do more follow-up stuff. It's basically an ongoing personal plot, and something that Aya's not going to let up because it's right up her alley. I don't have any specifics in mind quite yet, either, though I would love to eventually work my way to to getting encryptions back. Be it on the Network or Radio or wherever allowed with minimal kedan backlash.

Obvs it'll end up being a mod discretion thing, but yeah, getting encryption back or SOME form of more private communication would be cool. Even just pursuing it makes for a fun player plot.
