CR With Me | January 2015

Welcome to the first CR meme of 2015, and of the new game arc! For players who've joined us since our last meme, these ~bimonthly memes are our opportunity to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for your characters. Because of this, we do ask that you be as specific as you can when replying to this meme! 'Our characters should team up to moon Tu Yunxu' is more useful than 'omg tag me.'

We have two helpful sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to, and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! We've also got a section for indicating what kinds of CR you're especially looking for, as well as types of threads you're not interested in.

CHARACTER: Tony Stark
CANON: Iron Man: Armored Adventures
PERSONALITY: Friendly, trusting, loyal, and occasionally manages to be charming. Also more immature and naive than anyone with weaponized power armor has a right to be, and quick to anger, which means that often he makes bad choices and acts like an ass. He is maybe starting to learn better. Slowly.

CURRENT STATUS: Currently Tony is Fucking Everything Up. He had an explosively bad meeting with the leader of the Metalworkers, which means he now has no lab and will probably spend the rest of this month year? century? trying to work back into her good graces. He may even be trying his hand at some politicking (god help us all), working with several other foreigners to coordinate information gathering/negotiations with Keeliai's gangs and major families.

He's also pretty messed up in the head by what happened in his fight with Malicant, and he'll be starting to realize how much of an arrogant hypocrite he is about a lot of things. While he's working through his ~Issues~ he will be even more erratic than usual, so come prepared for Dumb Boy Emotions.

CR GOALS: He needs both people who will keep poking at the crumbling edifice of his values and self-image, as well as people who can help him figure out how to rebuild it. More broadly, I'll pretty much never turn down CR, so if there's anything you want to do, let's do it! New CR, developing old CR, taking current CR in a new direction, whatever it is, I'm probably on board.

SCENE-DOS: He has a lot of heavy stuff coming up on his itinerary, so some extra fluff and slice-of-life would be appreciated. Other than that, I'm game for pretty much anything!
SCENE-DON'TS: I don't think I have any hard limits right now, but I'd like to discuss any negative CR that comes up before it gets too out-of-hand. Given his emotional state it's likely that a fair amount of negative CR will happen, and I'm absolutely okay with that, I just don't want to push him completely over the edge into supervillainy.

HEY TONY.

So apparently Anton is teaching Tony sigils! Bakura learned a little about them from Anton as well, and Pur suggested that if Tony was having trouble with the "write-any-whichever-fucking-direction-you-feel-like" aspect of them, it's very similar to how hieroglyphics are written (which was why Bakura started to pick the sigils up himself).

Would that work for non-heavy? :)

Conceptually I think he'll have a lot more trouble with the "okay but phYS iC S" aspect of the sigils than the specific rules of how they're written, but I am totally up for some sigil lessons. I would love more awkwardly tense CR with Bakura. ;D

(Just a heads up, though, Tony is an awful student and Bakura may find him incredibly annoying.
