Welcome to the first CR meme of 2015, and of the new game arc! For players who've joined us since our last meme, these ~bimonthly memes are our opportunity to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for your characters. Because of this, we do ask that you be as specific as you can when replying to this meme! 'Our characters should team up to moon Tu Yunxu' is more useful than 'omg tag me.'

We have two helpful sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to, and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! We've also got a section for indicating what kinds of CR you're especially looking for, as well as types of threads you're not interested in.

CHARACTER: Valdis
CANON: OC
PERSONALITY: She is classically cold, selfish and manipulative, but thanks to certain parties, is trying to be a better person. Her outward demeanor is rarely an indication of what is going on inside as she is a master actress. Valdis is prideful to a fault, has a bit of a temper, and enjoys a good fight, but would never start one. She doesn't appreciate foolishness or over-dramatics (see: Dante), but she has a soft side when it comes to children.

CURRENT STATUS: Valdis is trying to play those in power and to get a read on the mindset of the general population. She is also trying to figure out the strange emotions that she has been feeling and is trying to find a place for herself in Keeliai.
CR GOALS: I have a few exciting things, such as a ship with a certain half-demon, but would really love some new CR, both negative and positive.

SCENE-DOS: I enjoy fluff just as much as I enjoy a good fight. I prefer prose, that's just the way I am, but am capable of actionspam. I prefer face to face as opposed to network. I am pretty open-minded when it comes to content. Valdis is my warrior queen, so if you are looking for a fight, she's your girl. Looking for negative CR, she is fantastic at that too. She needs friends though, so I would love that. It would be interesting to have someone feed her dark side in opposition to the ones who are feeding her light.
SCENE-DON'TS: I prefer that threads have a purpose, no random small talk. There is nothing worse than aimless ramblings about life, though I will trudge through those if I need to. No sex, but vague references are alright, though discuss with me first if you are uncertain.

CHARACTER: Lucina Leonidas
CANON: OC
PERSONALITY: Lucina is very kind, optimistic and loyal. She love learning new things, but can be obssessive. She is a dancer and hence very artistic, but is also a perfectionist.

CURRENT STATUS: Not doing much. As a new character I am just trying to get her into the swing of things.
CR GOALS: CR in general. I'd love someone to help her with her powers and teach her about Keeliai.

SCENE-DOS: For her, I am open to almost anything. Positive CR is a must, but a bit of negative is always fun. Mostly just want to get her involved.
SCENE-DON'TS: Same as for Valdis.

ADDITIONAL: Do not meddle in the affairs of Hellhounds, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.

We should do some kind of follow up with Bakura and Valdis from that thread.

Also Lucina and Jack like we planned :) I'm going to toss up his open log in the next few days with some starters.

Agreed on both! I would like to figure out a bit more about what happens between Valdis and Bakura in that thread before we do a followup though.

Sokka needs to find out more about Valdis. He's only had cursory encounters with her before. Sokka's going to be assessing ways to help the foreigners with respect to the main kedan NPCs, so that's something that would be potentially productive for those two?

As far as Lucina goes, well, CR is awesome. Sokka can help her out.
