How's My Driving | August 2014
HELLO CHELONAUTS! Summer has come once again and with it, our next quarterly HMD post that is slightly late to be posted because Li is forgetful oops
How's My Driving?
While each and every character must have an HMD page available, we offer a gamewide HMD once every calendar quarter. This is an opportunity to get together and discuss IC interpretations and portrayals in a respectful, beneficial fashion. In a nutshell, it's a chance to see how we're doing in the grand scheme of things.

There are a few ground rules to cover off before we can start:
- Participation in the quarterly HMD is 100% optional.
- Be respectful, anon or not. It's a lot easier to give and receive crit if all parties are making it a discussion of it rather than an argument.
- IP logging is off and anonymous commenting is on. You can offer crit signed-in if you like, but the option's there.
- New! We ask that each concrit provided consist of one positive and one constructive bit of feedback. Bring up something that you like about that player, and in the same comment provide something that you feel they could work on. This is to help round out the feedback and provide a better experience all around.

MODS
When we respond, we'll put our name in the subject line so you know who's answering. If it's something that needs input from all of us, we'll drop a quick note to let you know we're getting you the answers but we may need a bit of time to talk about it (because TIMEZONES). Thanks!
Re: MODS
Some things I wouldn't have known about at all if it weren't for friends telling me about them, like the baby turtles. Other things are mentioned but never fully explained anywhere, like the fact that there is some kind of connection with death. Or they're mentioned in linked pages, like the soul lanterns, which means they're easy to miss.
As a new player apping in, the feeling I got was that not everything is actually explained on the game pages and that at least some of the game info is actually buried in posts on the ooc comm. I imagine it's largely a case of things just not getting updated as the game developed, but since I know the game is working to attract new people at the moment I think giving the info pages a bit of an overhaul to make sure that they do include all the game's information and are friendly to people not familiar with the setting would be a big help. (Also I do find the orange headers quite hard to read, buuut that's really just a minor nitpick).
I have been having a lot of fun so far though, and I'm definitely looking forward to playing here more and seeing where the plot goes! It seems to me that the game has been well thought-out, it just kinda needs a bit more in the way of that information being detailed out.

If you, or anyone, want to note any areas that aren't clear or detailed enough, we'll get on those ASAP.
Re: (Li)
No problem! I could probably go through all of the pages again sometime too and try to make a more detailed list (I think there might have been a few other things, but those were the ones I could remember specifically). Consoles were another thing too, now that you mention it (along with just what kind of technology is present in general).
