CR With Me | May 2014

Hello, chelonauts! Time to kickstart some new plots and schemes for our characters leading into our summer season.

When it comes to our CR meme, we do ask that you be as specific as you can! 'Our characters should team up to moon Evandau' is going to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for better than 'omg tag me.' We're still using the modified form, including the two sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill!

So Septimus is going to be rather public about "Guys, time to organize" and making open efforts in trying to connect the various disjoint groups (though not being public when taking direct action against Malicant). This will include training people--not as much in personal fighting skill, which other people are doing, but in working together in units, both making regular ones and 'this is how you deal with a change in the line-up.'

I rather expect this will appeal to Kaldur'ahm.

Also, he's an imperial prince. He was under a lot of those pressures to be perfect--just as it turned out his ideas of that were rather different from his father's. I expect that could mesh well with Kaldur, maybe help him learn what being himself and living up to it can mean?

(Plus Kaldur's sense of humor will appeal to Septimus enormously.)

Kaldur will definitely be down for strategizing and organizing. He much prefers having something to focus on than sitting around doing nothing. He's also good at knowing which skills a person has will go well with someone else's skills, so that could help

As for the other aspect, Kaldur can be really formal and polite when it comes to royalty (it's just good manners and respect where he's from), but if Septimus doesn't stand on formality, Kaldur will follow his lead.

Heh, well, Septimus may just recognize the signs in Kaldur of the kind of pressures he's been under, and may just unconsciously be having slight mannerisms of royalty, as he hasn't actually, uh, told his family name to more than two PCs and two NPCs and never in public, and only told the two PCs about being royalty.

So probably it would be an unconscious play of personalities and mannerisms? But that's interesting in and of itself, see how much of the unconscious bits interact.

Oh yeah that kind of subconscious go around is always interesting, especially when the characters are still feeling each other out.
