Kryptonian Rampage Subplot

Hey all! July here with the RNG'd results for the Kryptonian Rampage subplot!

Behind both cuts are the details for each part.

For Part One, the attacks, everyone who signed up is getting a thread! Characters encountering Jor-El and Superman together are:

Bart & Kon
Rictor & M
Kaldur & Mera
Aya
Hayley
Bolin
Teddy

At a point shortly after all of these encounters, Superman will be killing off Jor-El, leaving the remaining characters to encounter him alone.

Characters encountering Superman only are:
Tea
Mark

There'll be headers for all of these, to keep things better organized! The order these are listed in isn't necessarily the order the characters will be killed off in, with the exception of the solo encounters taking place after the earlier ones with both mirrorversed Kryptonians.

Players with characters who are going to end up dying are welcome to set up plans regarding the handling of their corpses and if they choose, who discovers them, because everyone loves dead bodies.

For the final team-up to take Superman down, the RNG has resulted in the group consisting of Comics!Hal, Kotetsu & Barnaby, Septimus, Diana, and Sabriel, with Batman showing up at the end to set up the finisher thanks to his possession of green Kryptonite.

However! Because evil Superman is not above killing (and that's the whole impetus to this task force) Batman will also be killed in the process of weakening him, which also leaves the decision of what to do with Superman in the strike team's hands- do they keep him subdued or kill him? At this point Superman will also be missing a leg and there will be Kryptonite present, both of which may serve as influencing factors.

In the thread for discussing the plans for this, don't forget to also say which your character would be in favor of!

In spite of the Scarab's power, Jaime knows waaaaaaay better than to try to take down Superman without a decent plan, especially since there are more experienced superheroes around who'll do the bulk of the fighting. He'll instead be opting for running people out of Kal and Jor's line of fire! He's speedy enough to make a decent enough retreat, and he can also simulate Kryptonite with his armor (July, Al, I'm gonna check with you on this one so it doesn't get too OP/mess with the order of the plot).

SO WHO WANTS TO NOT DIE.

(as a note! Jaime will be coming in later when the vast majority of the damage has already been done-- he's only bailing out those who weren't initially slated to die.)

sinestro!hal says kill him and anyone that argues against him will have hal try and kill them too 8|b

fighting wise you have a guy that can literally construct anything out of his imagination so he'll easy be flitting from heavy hitter to tying him down

diana will vote emphatically against killing kal. she will probably try and punch anyone who votes yes on that score, so fair warning.

i'm ok with her playing backup to a larger plan if the more strategic-minded characters have something in mind. her lasso would probably be able to subdue kal, at least for a short amount of time, so that can be used at any point if we need it.

other than that i'm v flexible.

Septimus is a soldier and as long as the fight is going on, his first instinct will be 'kill.' However, once that fight's done, he'll be easy to get to listen to reason on the subject. Also, he can take a hit. As such, I am volunteering him to get punched but then legitimately listen and ultimately side with Diana--especially as he is not cool with anyone who wants to kill Kal trying to kill other teammates to do it.

This is the best way for them to meet, really. :D

Sabriel would probably back her up on the 'spare him' option, once she realizes he isn't in his right mind.

Sabriel can help with restraining him with magic- she probably can hit pretty hard with magic, but she'd prefer to keep him alive.

Septimus has a full complement of intensely powerful elemental magic (air, earth, water, fire, wood, metal), plus he can read emotions and to a slight degree project them, and he's a terrific swordsman and tactician.

He is not so used to this particular kind of teamwork, but he will definitely be able to take quick measure and come up with tactical suggestions, though if anyone wants to improve on them with creative pragmatism, go ahead. He relies on himself and his talents too much.
