TURTLE BABIES~ | Update #3

In the natural rhythms of arrivals and departures from Tu Vishan, some of the baby turtles recovered from Sinbrilee are now missing some of their stand-in mamas and papas. Having grown used to the reassurance of their caretakers, the hatchlings will once again seek out a psychic connection among the Foreigners.

From the original event post:

The eggs will 'resonate' when they are near their caretaker and the caretaker will feel compelled to seek it out. When they are near, the shell will become luminous and a peaceful feeling will come over those characters specifically chosen by their turtle [...] The turtles will learn very quickly, and soon their vocabularies will be more complex, enough to hold a complete conversation with, albeit telepathically. The babies will be very curious and full of questions, the most common one being 'why?' or 'what?' as they learn. They will be able to grasp theories of complex mathematics and physics without difficulty, and will seem to have an innate understanding of most things upon the simplest explanation.

Based on current list we are in need of ten new parentals!

As always we ask that this be limited to one character per player to allow for the most people to be able to participate in this ongoing plot. Remember this is open to newly accepted characters as well, just snag the sign up and comment to this post. It's a great way to jumpstart CR and interact with other characters by sharing hatchling feeding tips, shell care and baby turtle fashion trends... or something like that.

Selection of the TEN currently available spots will happen on Saturday, February 15th @ 9:00PM EST. Results with be randomized so even if there are already ten people, please consider signing up!

Congratulations, Hawke has connected with the Stigma hatchling, named Quintus! As described, the young turtle will send a gentle psychic connection to your character, compelling them to seek the hatchling out. Once they're nearby, they'll will feel a calming wash of peace as the turtle once again feels safe and cared for and they'll also be very excited to meet a new "parent", infusing them with feelings of affection and joy.

You're free to thread this out or handwave, your choice; check the google doc for the names and journals of your co-parents! :) If you have any questions, just reply here!

Plot Note: If you're participating in the current landfall plot, be aware that the connection cannot be made while your character is inside the Kithika bottle. The meeting can either be backdated to before their entry, or it can greet them once they emerge (or any time thereafter).
