Hello, chelonauts! The CR With Me meme is back and ready for action!

When it comes to our CR meme, we do ask that you be as specific as you can! 'Our characters should team up to moon Eshai' is going to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for better than 'omg tag me.'

We're still using the modified form, including the two sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill!

CHARACTER: Mark Grayson/Invincible
CANON: Invincible/Image Comics
PERSONALITY: “Professional” superhero who genuinely wants the world to be a better place, and to protect absolutely everyone and anyone he can with the powers he was blessed with. Dork with a love of comics, especially Science Dog. Tries to be a friendly to anyone, but will turn violent if you try to go against his (currently maturing) moral code. He’s working on that last part.
CURRENT STATUS: Mark's been busy working in construction for Wayne Enterprises as a Crew Chief, and spending his downtime flying around as Invincible. He's finally come to terms with Eve having gone home, but is still reluctant to get too close to anyone.
CR GOALS: Anything and everything. New CR, old CR I want it all. I’d really like him to come to the realization that he actually has friends. Anyone who can give him a hobby or a way to cope with not having to go save the Earth every four seconds would be much appreciated. Also, as he’s been doing a terrible job at the whole dual identity thing, someone calling him out on it would be kind of funny too.
SCENE-DOS: I’m up for everything that’s not in the don’ts. No preference in network/face-to-face, though I do prefer action spam over prose.
SCENE-DON'TS: I’m pretty much up for anything, but if it involves harming Mark (despite the name Invincible he spends a lot of time bleeding in his comic) I’d like you to run it by me first. I’m 99% going to say yes, I just like knowing ahead of time. Also, Mark is in a very, very committed relationship, so nothing romantic. Feel free to flirt, but Mark isn’t going to be forgetting about Eve anytime soon.

CHARACTER: John Colby
CANON: Chew
PERSONALITY: Foul-mouth asshole who used to work for the FDA (which in his canon is way more lucrative than the CIA). He has a tendency to insult people and generally keep them at arms length. However, he is pretty loyal in his own warped way if you do manage to befriend him.
CURRENT STATUS: Colby's grumpy. It's been a while since he's done any actual cop stuff, and it's getting to him. As a result, he's been drinking a lot.
CR GOALS: Anything and everything. New CR, old CR I want it all. I'd really like to find something for Colby to do. Even if it's not a job of some kind, someone he can hang out with or some way for him to spend his time productively would be a huge step up from what he's currently doing. I'd also like to attempt to do something with his hatred (read: fear) of superheroes.
He also has this badass rooster named Poyo. All of the things should be done with him.

CHARACTER: Kaine
CANON: Marvel 616
PERSONALITY: "Evil" clone of Peter Parker and reformed supervillain who is still getting a handle on the whole "superhero" thing. Thanks to his friends in Houston, he's gotten a rough foundation of how friendships work, but he's a little rocky on that too. Generally thinks that everything's about to go wrong at a moment's notice (typically because they tend to). Has a surprisingly high tolerance for teenage bullshit considering he has a surprisingly low temper when it comes to pretty much everything else. Kind of a dick.
CURRENT STATUS: Kaine's new and as a result, still settling in. He's found himself living with an alternate reality version of Peter Parker, and a niece from a completely different alternate reality. He's kind of overwhelmed by everything, but he's doing his best to keep it all together. Plotting to kill Peter in his sleep.
CR GOALS: Anything and everything. Kaine's a new character and I am very much open to anything that might come along. His post is here, or if you want to tag his log, it can be found here. Come have your teenager annoy him! Come try to teach him that breaking every bone in a criminal's body is not the way superheroes operate! Try to remind him that he is sort of a good person!

Mark and Zee should totally hang out again. I loved our CR in the beginning and then life got in the way for both of them.

And if Mark and Aya meet, he's going to be wondering if she's really a robot or if she's being controlled remotely by someone else... mainly because he thought his old teammate Robot (so original) was just a robot until they found out he wasn't.

If you do, I will totally tag it. I have a crapton of backtags for Mark, but I plan on him doing something come landfall when he gets his comic book collection.

Mark will accept her robot-ness! It was more Robot blindsided them all with the revelation he was not actually a robot.

One of these days, I might have Zee find her dad's top hat...but this is not one of those days. Otherwise, she'll mostly just be wandering around. I have no major landfall plans for her yet.

Aww Zee should totally get her dad's top hat. But I have no real plans either, other than him getting his photo album. an old outfit, and his comic book collection. I figure I'll come up with something closer to landfall when we find out more about it.

Mark's got no problems with acceptance. So long as she doesn't try to kill everyone, she's okay in his book.

Well Kaine won't be open about being Spider-Man's clone, but he would own up to being the "fake Spider-Man" (his words) who killed the Queen during Spider Island. I'm not sure where you took Teddy from, but if it's from the new YA that's definitely post-Spider Island.

That said, Kaine is used to overly curious teens in his life, so come at him, bro.

Teddy is from the new series! He would probably know about Spider Island or as much as he could dig up. I on the other hand need to research it But they can be fake Spider-bros! Because Teddy secretly used Spider-Man's identity before...

You really aren't missing much. Long story short: pretty much everyone in Manhattan got turned into Spider creatures. Peter turned everyone back into people, and Kaine killed the one controlling them (with help from Ms. Marvel). Teddy might also know of Kaine (well the Scarlet Spider) as Houston's first superhero.

Ah okay! Thanks for the summary. I'll assume that Teddy does know about Scarlet Spider. I work under the assumption he knows about most, if not all, Marvel 616 heroes. xD

That... would probably do it, since he's been convinced since Spider Island the Avengers are just going to show up and arrest him one day. It's never crossed his mind that the Avengers don't know nor care who he is.

I am too! He's so done with Thor's crap, but at the same time can't seem compelled to write him off entirely. I also totally forgot until yesterday that Mark knows (of) a guy called Kid Thor.
