Zatanna ➢ Stupid Boyfriend

Favorite person on the Turtle, and the one she trusts most. But more than that...maybe because they don't get to see each other as often as she'd like...there's almost a sense of excitement when they are together, even if it's just him as Dick. She definitely hasn't forgotten what it was like when they were older--okay, so maybe she has temporarily forgotten (sob), but we're talking prior (and after) to the amnesia episode--and how intense the moment felt. To say she's attracted to him would be an understatement. She's attracted to everything about him. His humor. His smile. The way she can just go to him about anything and everything and know he'll understand. Because he's one of the only things she has left from their homeworld, and that makes their connection all the more near and dear to her. She loves being around him. Part of her wants to admit that she loves him, although she would be very very hesitant to say she's in love with him. There's a difference, after all.

...and this is a huge part of why the temporary memory loss is basically going to DEVASTATE her. She knows she's having a much rougher time of things than she is, if only because she's gotten so good at fooling herself into thinking she might almost be better off on the Turtle. Where she has friends, family, and doesn't have to deal with watching her Dad surrender to Fate. So there's a lingering sense of guilt that he's miserable and she's not so much. But now, she's going to be directly responsible for making it so much worse and it's going to CRUSH her and she wouldn't blame him for hating her for it. Even if it wasn't her fault.

But, like I said before, she is going to do her damnedest to make up for it in any and every way he'll let her.

She'll even cook for him this time.


Midii ➢ her boyfriend omg rude he's not her boyfriend. :| But something something a stupid brother....

Her first impressions of Dick were highly favorable. A lot of that--possibly more than she would openly admit--have to do with the fact that Damian trusts him so implicitly, because she knows Damian well enough to know that this speaks volumes. And she can see why. He was very kind and understanding, but also completely unwilling to let Damian get away with his usual glares and pouts and...she was actually amused by their interaction. The last name thing has her curious, and she wants to ask so badly, but she'll wait for a later time when they're alone. When she may ask him more about Damian as well. Less about secrets and pasts and more trying to get an understanding of the boy form a different perspective.

So, basically, while calling him somebody she can Trust might be a bit premature, Dick is on her favorable list at this time with the potential to be a valuable ally (her word for "friend") later on.
