Julie: She wants a lot more time with this guy. He's pretty friggin' awesome. She thinks if they ever got it in their heads to do something completely ridiculous and probably a bit dangerous, they'd make it happen and she likes having that kind of person in her life.

Victora: She just likes having a grown up in her life that isn't pushy or scary. He's far from it and she feels as if she could trust him to keep her safe if Mama showed up. At the same time, if Mama did show, she might try to cut off all contact with everyone. Even Dick.

He wants to be fambly with them again! :'( Don't disown him or leave.

Tony likes Kyle. He actually volunteered to cooperate, which goes a long way in his book, and he seems like a decent enough guy. He's a little withdrawn, which Tony is starting to think might be a world thing for some people, but he's not as cold as he initially seemed to suggest he was. He has this image of Kyle as being kind of a loner, except there are clearly other of these "Lantern" people and they seem to gather, so mostly he considers it a Kyle quirk so far.

He doesn't know too much about him yet, but he's shown himself to be a smart guy who wants to keep people safe out of more than just obligation or a lukewarm sense of responsibility. Interesting note: he thinks Kyle is very serious business and would like to poke him, but he doesn't know him well enough to give him a hard time yet. He will, though, just as soon as he gets a good subject to poke him with. Because that's how you relate to people, right?

Kyle's going to regret humoring him by the end of everything. He's kind of held back because he's been feeling out these other heroes before getting too far into things, but that's not going to last...

Tony thinks that Gene is an interesting puzzle. He's kind of okay with him even though he's associating with Loki because he seems like a nice enough kid. He's a little weirded out by the fact that Gene apparently knows another Tony (kid Tony even!) and Pepper and Rhodey.

THIS IS LIKE ONE OF THOSE HIGH SCHOOL ANIMES-

And he can sort of piece together from the dragon motif + "Khan" that he isn't the counterpart to one of his closer acquaintances, so yes, he's kind of been hanging back and stalking his conversations. The response he made when Gene was yelling at Loki was a test to get a better feel for him, but Gene mostly seems all right. He's probably going to keep sneaking around him like a shark trying to figure him out, but now that he knows Gene is apparently not going to fly off the handle immediately, he'll probably end up poking him just to resolve some of that confusion. He totally likes him better than Loki though. And he doesn't even really know him yet. XD CONGRATS!

Okay but serious, to put it simply, Clara loves Jim.

I'm not sure she even really recognizes it as love but that's what it is. She would do anything for him, even die for him if she felt she had to. He makes her feel happy and protected and most of all important. He treats her like she's something special and although Clara acts aloof, it means a lot to her when people recognize her talents. She wants to keep showing him that she's impressive and worthy of his respect.

I think Jim was easy for her to get along with because they're quite similar. Of course, she found his outer flirtatious persona fun and exciting like most girls do. But it was the care he showed for Rose and everyone that really made Clara come to respect him a lot. Sure, he's kind of an asshole sometimes, but there's a gentleness to him too. And that is what made Clara drop her walls and let him in.

She also feels like they have kind of an unspoken understanding of each other because they're quite similar. They look after each other and stick up for each other, but never get too deep into feelings or poke at vulnerabilities. He is okay with her wanting just to sit around and be quiet sometimes and doesn't begrudge her for her distance. In fact he seems to respect it. He has a spirit of adventure that she delights in. At first it was because it reminded her of the Doctor, but now it's because it's something she shares too and it draws her to people.

Clara worries about Jim a lot. She feels like he's had some rough spots in his past and he confessed to her about dying and she knows how that feels. She never brings it up but it eats at someone and she knows it. Add the trapped feeling that comes with being in Keeliai and it's a bad combo. She just quietly watches from afar now but would bring it up if she got too concerned.

That said, Clara also hates being vulnerable in front of Jim. Partially because he's so good at hiding it himself and she doesn't want to rock the boat. But also because as said before, she feels like he respects her strengths and she doesn't want to show him any weaknesses. She hates being viewed as broken by anyone and even worse someone she cares about. Jim wouldn't judge her, she knows that, but it's a matter of keeping her pride and being worthy of his respect. This event is going to be pretty hard on her in that regard.

Clara probably fancies Jim on some level, but I don't think she's even aware of that. She tends to assume people, especially men, view her as a broken bird. Plus, Jim is Jim, he most likely has many other people he's interested in.

She doesn't know Bucky that well!! He was very helpful, and that doesn't surprise her. She's read his file, knows he's considered MIA, but that's all. But Steve trusts him, and that goes a long way, in her book, because Steve's someone she respects and considers a friend.

Barring any Jossing that Cap 2 is gonna do, she vaguely recognizes him as the Winter Soldier. He's got the same face, but none of the same expressions, he's not cold nor is he brainwashed. He's also got both arms. Natasha's not sure what to make of that at all, and that's the only reason she's keeping quiet on it.

He confuses her, to put it bluntly. Could there be the possibility of what he and the other Natasha had with her? Absolutely. But she needs to figure him out, first. He's an enigma, despite being the kind of guy he is. It intrigues her, and she'd like to get to know him better, if only to figure out what the hell is up with him and the Winter Soldier.

He's a kid. There's a lot that goes with that; she, herself, was a child trained to spy and kill, and Miles being his age and working for SHIELD with apparently no one giving a shit about it bothers her. It's the main reason she decided to offer to train him herself. He doesn't know how to defend himself, he doesn't know protocol, and if anyone from his version of SHIELD shows up she's going to give them a stern talking to, probably with thigh choke holds involved. Natasha feels pretty strongly about kids in combat, and while she will use kids when she has to, she doesn't necessarily like doing it.

That said, she thinks he's a good kid. She's also pretty sure that if she were to let him do his own thing he'd get himself killed. She's not his parent so she can't forbid him, so she's offered to do the next best thing. For all intents and purposes she likes him, but from her POV, they have a distant teacher-student relationship. That is, of course, subject to change.

It's about the same!! She thinks Thor is a good man, if a tad skewed on his views on his brother (assuming she doesn't know his current ones). She can't forgive Loki, and doesn't get how Thor could. But it doesn't skew her own view on Thor. She doesn't get Thor's view on Loki but she isn't surprised by it, either.

Thor's pretty easy to read, and he's a very open person. Natasha can admire that. Like Bruce, he's not up with Coulson and Clint on people she trusts 100%, but eventually it could get to that point. He has her loyalty, at the very least.

AHAHA Yes, yes she is. She's good at toppling regimes.

Okay but seriously, Clara loves Kyle. He's really the perfect guide to help her open up and stop being so distant. She really didn't have any choice when he decided he was just going TO HEAP LOVE ON HER. And he charmed her deeply by being a huge dork. But most importantly he still respects that she has walls and sometimes doesn't want to talk about things. He lets her move at her own pace and she appreciates that a lot.

But he just has this amazing light that brings out the best in her. Kyle is probably the only person who could get her to cuddle without a quip. She would just do it because he's so warm that she just wants to be warm with him. She likes just spending time with him and being affectionate. She knows how much he gives and she just wants to be able to give back to him as much as she can. Sometimes, she does feel like she's not as good of a friend to him as he is to her.

She worries about Kyle the most out of anyone. She saw his dream and sees what lurks in his nightmares and she just wants to protect him and for him to be happy. I think that's what pushes her to want to be more affectionate with him. She knows he likes it and whatever she can do to make him happy, she wants to do it. But I think she also tries to be conscious of what he's feeling and what might be lurking under the surface.

Clara also feels more comfortable being vulnerable around Kyle than she is anyone else. There's something about him, a vulnerability maybe, that makes her feel comfortable. She still wants to impress him and for him to think she's amazing but... she's also not afraid to be sad or sick in front of him. She feels like it's a burden that Kyle is okay baring and she would bear it for him without a second thought.

I think they also have a lot in common. They want people to like them, they feel unsure if they are meant to be in their roles, they are terrified of other people leaving. And I think they just have an unconscious understand of these similarities and move to where the other needs them to be.

I do think sometimes his affection can overwhelm her a little and she doesn't know how to deal with it but really all it does is open her up a little bit more. No one gets as many hugs as Kyle. And someday she might return a kiss to him. It's like we talked about earlier, their feelings are these funny mostly platonic but a little "hint of oh you're pretty attractive".

Clara likes Scott! He seems like a nice old(er) guy. A bit out of it but Clara was put at ease by his easy-going nature and willingness to be her book bitch. She does kind of wonder what would inspire that in a person but she's not judging. He's definitely someone that she'd feel alright talking to just casually. They could unite in being clueless about pop culture. That said she gets major dad vibes from him and that makes her miss her own. Though she wishes her dad were that chill.

Lydia is very UNSURE about Derek. He did try to kill her after all. You don't get over that so easily. But she knows Derek isn't a terrible person and regards him as an ally but she's perfectly fine with keeping him at a distance. That said she would never just leave him out to dry and would help him if he needed her help. She does want to interrogate him about Peter.

But that will be for a very importantly planned time.

So yes, basically she doesn't feel the same was as he does. >: I'd definitely say she is obilivious to his feelings because she just doesn't really think about crushes and romance that often. She's pretty much written it off.But she likes spending time with him, he is a sweet and honest kid and being with him makes her feel lighthearted and happy. I think she also appreciates his smarts and would love to grill him on the Enterprise systems someday. Like Jim, she has come to be really protective over him and would punch anyone who upset him! She sees him as one of her kids, basically. (sorry)
