time travel shenanigans pt 2!

Okay, so I dropped the names into my magic internet hat and pulled out four characters. This is a plot that I plan on running several times, so even if your character missed out this time, there'll definitely be another chance!

So these are the people who'll be coming along this time:

- Billy Costigan
- Dorian Gray
- Willow Rosenberg
- Sabriel

I'll have Catty use the IC inboxes to get in touch so that everything is squared away ICly c:

The way this is going to go down is that the mods have given me three scenarios that our characters can specifically see while they're in the past. I have used my magic internet hat to randomise people into pairs, and each pair is going to come across one of these scenarios. Every character on the time trip will be dragged around to every point in time she stops at, but only one pairing per time point will be able to stumble across anything of interest.

The pairs are:
- Willow & Dorian
- Billy & Sabriel
- Vanessa & Catty

I'll toss up plotting threads and a question thread in the comments! They're going to be spending a day at each point in time, so they'll experience three days in the past, but it's only going to take a day in actually game time (the 14-15th).

Lieuen's First Business Deal | ~67 years ago
A very wee kedan can be seen manning a stall at the edge of an Earth Sector sculpture plaza; there are a variety of sculpting supplies on display and stocked behind it, with a sign in kedanese erected above it. Any familiar with the written language of the kedan could make out the name Lieuen and the title: Discount Art Supplies! Carving Day Special!

There is a steady flow of interested and purchasing parties to and from this stall for a number of hours. At the very end of the day, the young kedan can be seen closing up shop and counting his juulan profits from the day. Here, he is approached by a much older kedan and a conversation held between them discusses the success of the stall and the fact that the plaza will be seeing much more artistic work over the next few days. An offer is made to buy the site, stall, and supplies from tiny Lieuen, who happily writes up a short contract in the kedan equivalent of bright green crayon. They sign it in blue and he takes home a large satchel of juulan for it.

Throughout the day, kedan can be seen in the plaza either observing the numerous sculptures or working at carving their own.

well if Willow wants to teach him how to magically attack people hey he can put away the palette knife and pick up the hex wand

but art, Willow!! nah he gets bored with it pretty quickly himself if he doesn't have Lord Henry around to monologue at him

Harvest Festival Planning | ~173 years ago
A team of very absent-minded kedan are meeting in a Wood Sector open cafe to discuss an upcoming harvest festival. The mood at the table is very positive, but the topic constantly strays as they segue from planning into reflection of how bountiful the harvest it. Each party is exceedingly pleasant and they finally agree on a three day banquet buffet to celebrate the spoils of Tu Vishan's swim through the harvest climate. Games and contests are mentioned to mixed success. The observers may notice that these kedan engage one another with much simpler language choices than the generation currently thriving in Keeliai.

Seriously, Sabriel's going to try to remember everything. And probably comment on how different the past-kedan are from kedan in the present.

Costigan, in spite of himself, is going to focus on that whole 'harvest climate' thing and wonder if it's a matter of where the turtle island is in the water and if there's a way to fix that. He'll also secretly resent them for living in a time where there wasn't all the conflict and what not.

And he'll be uncomfortable the whole time, because magic.
