Tl;dr Mega Meme Bonanza
Comment with a list of your characters, receive questions, or just tl;dr on your own unprompted! Here's some suggestions. ◘ What does your character think of mine? ◘ What goes on during our handwaved CR? How much handwaved CR do we have? ◘ Canon information, for those unfamiliar with your canon. ◘ All sorts of headcanon questions-- sleeping positions, childhoods, past sexual or romantic history, etc. ◘ Would your character date mine? ◘ If they were put under a truth spell, what would come out? ◘ Where do you want to go with your character, story arc wise? ◘ Give an example of their daily routine in Keeliai. ◘ Who do they miss most from home? Would they go back if they could? ◘ What kind of music do you listen to while tagging? What does your character listen to ICly? ◘ Elaborate on what you've been working on improving in your writing style lately. ◘ What would their daemon spirit animal be, as from His Dark Materials? ◘ What have been your favorite threads with me? And much, much more! Go wild! I recommend making a plain top level comment with just your list of characters, and replying to yourself to fill out things on your own. |

man that whole bringing up hubris thing was such A Moment, because she's never really been able to relate to someone that way before? Obviously different things happened for each of them, but the concreteness of the use of the word really hit her. It sort of opened up a new understanding, because if he can admit that to himself and to another person, it takes a lot, and she knows exactly what it means to do so. Especially that he was willing to share it with her. Hubris is a common flaw in children of Athena, so it's very likely she shares it with some of her siblings, but none of them have really experienced the negative side effects in such a strong way like she has. Even if she doesn't know the exact details of what happened with Bruce and vise versa with him knowing on her end, it's still something that in a way kind of meant something? Like, his mistake is still effecting him, but because he's still trucking on it's sort of like ok maybe it won't be so final on my end.
AND JUST ALL OF THE SCIENCE FOREVER she's not really phased by the discovery of the hulk as Bruce, and though she knows he doesn't like or approve of it, it's still another sign of how smart he is okok. She's not on the same level in terms of science skill exactly, but she does get a sense that they can at least talk and discuss and theorize AND IT'S SO WEIRD BECAUSE HE IS AN ADULT AND ADULTS HAVE NEVER BEEN GOOD FIGURES IN HER LIFE ???????????? It's just been increasingly easier to talk to him, usually it's the other way around.

It's funny how they have these unexpected similarities. lol. That and the pining over their codependent SOs who they have been separated from before.
I love seeing them continue to develop this relationship based on mutual respect. :> Trustworthy, relateable adult figures are rare for Annabeth, and kids and teenagers bring up so many of Bruce's issues that it's pretty rare CR for me, too.

Every time something else similar comes up between them I'm just like LMFAO AGAIN [outie] but I love every bit of it
dskjfhdsf ME TOO it's such a nice surprisingly little surprise, especially with how rare it is for both of them. And I feel like even if they did like, disagree over something huge, they'd still do so respectfully [nods]
