OH MY GOD WE'RE BACK AGAIN.

Okay, no. I just had to do that once because of the icon.

Good morning, everyone! It's Dino returning after a couple of months away with a new character. Say hello to Peter Quill from Marvel-616, also known as Star-Lord.

He's a little less space-cop and a little more space-vigilante, and he's pretty infamous for getting the people he loves killed or horribly injured due to poor life choices.

He's been pulled from the end of Thanos Imperative #6, which involved a whole lot of Lovecraftian horrors and so on. Oh, and going up against the Mad Titan, Thanos - which also involved using a broken/nearly-dead cosmic cube (or tesseract for you MCU folks) that he's brought along with him. Player plots in the future, anyone?

Anyway, I'm glad to be back here with everyone and I look forward to all sorts of shenanigans! If you ever need to reach me, you can find me on noceur or heartstrider @ AIM.

end hiatus + minus one serial killer

I'm back from a roughly 2.5 week hiatus (6 weeks if you include me having very little RP time). I want ALL THE PLOTS now, to compensate. plz. (Plurk = thedarkfields).

Tragically, I'm dropping Sylar (grayatonement). I love the troll, but he just hasn't been meshing.

TUSHIES MY LOVELY TUSHIES~

Li here one last time with my fourth and final character, Yami no Bakura from Yuugiou: Duel Monsters. He's coming in from the tail end of the Memory RPG arc so he's mightily frustrated at having that interrupted spoilers: he doesn't win. He will be taking on Ryou's persona for at least the first while as he gets acclimated to the city, but he'll be making trouble before too long. He has a permissions post HERE and I'll be introing him shortly!

So I've had this idea for a bit and then saw characters ICly talking about it. So it's time to break out the roasting forks because things are about to get... toasty!

Setting

A plaza in Earth has been cleared out to make room for three roaring bonfires. The entire area has become quite warm and a lot of the snow in the area has melted. There’s some food set out on a portable buffet table lit with a few candles. Chekov has done his best to find the equivalents of marshmallows, raw vegetables, and sausages to roast. There are a few metal skewers sitting on the table too. There are also a few jugs of water (hey, he’s not made of money) with some cups. It’s not much, but it’s free. There is a patch of the plaza that is completely clear of obstructions-- somewhere to dance or perform. Feel free to have your character take the stage or cuddle up with another for some slow-dancing. Or bust out some break dancing. I won't judge.

The kedan have gotten in on it and have set up stands nearby. They’re selling food and better drinks as well as blankets and scarves to keep cozy. They seem perfectly happy to indulge the Foreigners in their little festival if it means they can make a little extra juulan.

Timeframe

The event will begin November 29th at sundown and end November 30th at dawn. Participation is 100% voluntary, of course, though people living in near the festival might have to tolerate the smell of smoke during this time. Characters will receive a recorded invitation in their IC inboxes on November 27th (both spoken and written in English and Russian). Absolutely everyone is invited.

This plot is mod-approved so don't worry about Evandau running into the plaza and trying to arrest everyone for lighting stuff on fire.
