test drive!

Itching to try out writing a character? Then rev up your engines, grab your accounts, and slam your way into this meme! Here is a venue for you to try out whatever character there might be tickling your fancy, from fandom to OC, for as few as one and as many as MANY. Seriously, there's no limit.
How do you partake in this fantastic congregation of character testing? Why, by following these simple steps:
- Comment with the journal of a character you want to test; put their name and canon in the subject line for added sparkles.
- Tag around with everyone!
- Profit like you live on a the back of a turtle!
But wait, there's more! For the low, low price of $9,999.99, you can even use one of our handy prompts when you tag someone. You could even pick one with a Random Number Generator to help decide which prompt to go with!
- A Chance Meeting at the Turtle's Head.
Remember, being here causes a great sense of-- well, shall we say inner peace. - Haggling Over Something in the Marketplace!
Maybe someone else saw the exact same shiny thing you did at the exact same moment! However shall this be resolved? Remember: blood is extremely hard to scrub off of turtleshell! - Hey, I Just Met You, and This is Crazy...
First impressions are always the most important, right? - WILDCARD!
Go nuts. Suddenly your character is fighting dragons! Good God, they've found the Millennium Falcon drifting in the ocean! Do you really feel the need to polish every paving stone in the Earth Sector? Please note, Wildcard options are also what you can choose to do if you aren't yet comfortable in the Tu Shanshu setting and would prefer a more 'dear-mun' esque experience. Please specify in your post!

[There is, of course, her family, and their power plays in Bonk. With the 'pack' and the Game, and 'Man is a Wolf to His Fellow Man.' She left them a long time ago.
He's not of them, so she's becoming more relaxed every moment that he doesn't try to kill her.]
Yours does?

[His smile grows a touch wry.]
Of which I currently am one- I believe that, before your arrival, I was the only werewolf on the turtle.

[Stupid. Stupid stupid that she would let him catch her by surprise like that. She's been so overwhelmed by the new city that she hadn't really gone looking.
Tonight, there'll be a wolf scouring the city for any others.]
Have you had any trouble?
[You know, like irregular lunar cycles, a lack of convenient places to stash emergency clothes, the locals turning up with torches and pitchforks.]

[He hasn't been that shy about telling people his status. For the most part, it's gone well- nearly everyone here is used to weird shit. In his world, being a werewolf is almost an almost-respectable occupation.]
Nothing involving our mutual nature, no. If you require accommodations for the full moon, Commander Evandau is the man to speak to.
[He researched this, in case he required a backup for his current plans. The city is full of places to stash emergency clothes, and while there was trouble with the locals it was more focused on the foreigners.]
no subject
[They might have to have a capital-C Conversation about secrecy and privacy, if he starts talking about her rather than to her.]
What sort of accommodations?
[And why would she go to the Commander about something that's none of his business?]
no subject
[He would never. Outing himself is one thing. Outing an acquaintance is quite another.]
In my world, we become quite, ah, violent at full moon. It may differ for you, but I require some method of confinement. Commander Evandau can arrange it, if required.
no subject
[The accepting nature of kedan and foreigners, not the accommodations. At that idea, she shakes her head quickly.]
No. I can control myself just fine.
[There's no intended slight in that remark. There's a bit of confusion, and slight irritation at the implication that she's an uncontrollable monster, but none of it is directed at him.]
no subject
[Lyall doesn't sound at all doubtful that she's telling the truth. He's made his best efforts to control the full moon transformations that can make werewolves dangerous if they aren't careful, but it's never succeeded. That doesn't mean, however, that that is the case for all varieties of werewolves.
He is a little jealous, though.]

I don't care, by the way, how accepting the others are. I'm one of those private people.
