The kedan are quite used to those who change their shape. Most other foreigners have some familiarity with the supernatural as well- they've been quite accepting thus far.

[He would never. Outing himself is one thing. Outing an acquaintance is quite another.]

In my world, we become quite, ah, violent at full moon. It may differ for you, but I require some method of confinement. Commander Evandau can arrange it, if required.

[There's no intended slight in that remark. There's a bit of confusion, and slight irritation at the implication that she's an uncontrollable monster, but none of it is directed at him.]

I'm glad to hear it.

[Lyall doesn't sound at all doubtful that she's telling the truth. He's made his best efforts to control the full moon transformations that can make werewolves dangerous if they aren't careful, but it's never succeeded. That doesn't mean, however, that that is the case for all varieties of werewolves.
