Plot Things -- read this!!
So Bruce's independent investigation is going to yield some extremely interesting results. He's going to be attempting to discern if he can observe the metaphysical transfer of energy (i.e. the thing responsible for the depowering) at the nuclear level, and the answer is yes, he can. By using some of the salvaged satellite tech. The result will be seeing that the ethereal cords connecting Tu Vishan to its residents are very weak and sluggish.
He'll have the subsequent idea to convert the satellite tech into a power source to feed into the cords. Although he'll initially attempt to heal / repair the turtle with this energy, it's far too little to accomplish anything with that. The real effect will be that he'll discover in the process of attempting to give it to Tu Vishan that trying to 'deliver' it via a person will extremely temporarily give them their powers back. It's basically like an electrical current, where he's trying to get energy from point A (satellite tech) to point C (Tu Vishan) by going through point B (a player character), and on the way there, it powers point B before petering out before it can reach point C.if this makes any sense at all
Ultimately, someone from his research team will speak to Evandau about distributing it to the teams in the form of a portable energy source unit. The teams can then have a brief moment of powers being returned near the end of the clueventure plot. Specifically they will receive this starting July 5th, and the clue set will announce when they receive the equipment. It will continue for five days, and will provide each team with two units, and each charge will cause repowering for a duration of 30 seconds for one person, with a mandatory recharge time in between of 5 - 10 minutes. The specific details may be revised in the future.
Basically right now I am looking for characters that would be interested in helping research this. Magical characters are especially needed, but science based or investigative would be fine, too. Obviously, this has to be characters that are not on a team. Aside from aiding in the magic/science research, characters will also be needed to help deliver the units to the teams, wherever they may be (and some of them are remote!).
At some point I'll have Bruce make a network post asking for volunteers and everyone can ICly sign up, then. So far we have Kara and Arthur on this, but I'd like to get a head count before it moves forward in game so that the OOC logistical planning is easier.

Yeah, that would be pretty awful. In other words, let's do it. XD I just put up his post today so he's welcome to respond and get dragged into this!
