The "I SHIP IT!" Meme!

THE "I SHIP IT" MEME!

How this meme works:
Post your characters in a list!

Players can respond with who they ship your character with, at which point your OOC or IC reactions are welcome!

Or feel free to give your own ships for your characters, link threads, or talk about what has been happening for them ship-wise in game!

Also. On a locked post containing information like the bets Dorian has going and the promises Steve Rogers is making Dorian keep, I also have a list of current and former romantic and/or sexual partners. This is what it says:

Favrielle: Regularly ):
Lyall: Casually? At least on full moons.
Toby: one word: bloodplay
Aisha: Classy people have sex in brothels
Jehan: Apparently, ginger grass is Victorian flower language for 'homosexual love.'
Bryn: one day he will get that fourway
Harry: you all thought so too when you read that book

Steve: never ever ever he is too pure
Bruce: too straight

The only reason I didn't just automatically assume Dorian/Harry action when I first read PoDG was because I was like, ten when I first read it, and very naive.

Sure figured it out later though.

I remember the first time I read it, I went "this book has a reputation and I don't get it at all"

and then I learned to actually understand what I was reading, and I was enlightened.

Yep, sounds familiar.

Btw, did you read that Alex Ross article I linked on plurk a while back? Apparently early drafts had a much clearer suggestion of Henry and Basil having "gone to school together" and even what basically amounts to a jealous hissyfit from Harry, directed at Basil over Dorian.

That...would put a new and interesting cast on everything, had Oscar kept that in.

I thought I had, but apparently I didn't. That casts a very interesting light on it all.

Doesn't it, though?
Tellingly, Wilde removes intimations of a prior attachment between Basil and Lord Henry. He deletes a description of Basil “taking hold of [Lord Henry’s] hand.” One passage is so heavily scratched out as to be almost illegible, but in it Lord Henry seems to berate Basil for having become Dorian’s “slave,” and then blurts out, “I hate Dorian Gray.” In the end, Wilde cancels any hint of jealousy and gives Lord Henry the mask of an amused aesthete: “Basil, this is quite wonderful! I must see Dorian Gray.”

Well, would you look at that. That's very very interesting indeed.

Sob Dorian and Favrielle

Dorian can have the fourway once Bryn gets her powers back. He can help her celebrate her ability to split again. /o/

literally the best way to celebrate repowering, ever.

Yes, I agree heartily to considering this a thing.

You, uh. Realise that if Harry gets wind of this he's going to want a full report.

Either? Both?

...probably both, to be honest.

She might oblige with details of her own actions though I'm not sure if she'd say anything about Dorian's unless she got the impression he wouldn't object to her sharing.

She...still doesn't get the scope of their relationship. At all.

Don't worry, Bryn—they don't really get it either. >.>
