How to play? Reply to this post with the characters you play, people will then reply to you asking 'What does X think of my character Y?' then zoom around and ping other people in the same manner to generate some CR chatter! This is a good way to see where your current CR stands and what your characters secretly think of each other.

Cas thinks she was way too accommodating, but then humans always do weird shit like say stuff is okay when it isn't because they don't want to hurt someone else's feelings. He's glad he got to spend some time with her, however short and uncomfortable it was; it was a learning experience and that's pretty much all he hopes for, in most interactions.

To say he is the broest of bros is an understatement.
OKAY so idk how familiar you are with TMNT canon, but in all the incarnations there's Casey Jones and he is usually Raph's biggest bro. Casey Jones isn't due to show up for this turtle canon until next season.
Santo is p. much Raph's Casey, only moreso because Santo understands stuff that Casey doesn't. Santo knows what it's like to be feared and persecuted and hated, and although Raphael hasn't gotten nearly as much of that in real life as Santo has, he's definitely thought up enough to make himself bitter and angry and anxious (occasionally) about it.
Santo is also allergic to feelings, which Raphael appreciates, because when they finally do vomit up feelings they both silently agree never to bring that up again because they don't have feelings okay they have fists they use to punch people and that is the extent of it aight
BUT Santo is also super cool enough not to point out any weaknesses Raphael might show which, due to their competitive nature, his brothers have no problem doing. Especially Mikey. ...although Raph kind of deserves it seeing as how he's a violent dickhead BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT THE POINT IS THAT SANTO DOESN'T DO IT SO HE'S AWESOME
Also, Santo is COOL. He's cool mostly because he's strong; maybe he doesn't have the precise form Raphael does, but Raph doesn't respect form like Leonardo does. Raphael respects and admires power, and he's pretty much of the opinion that any situation can become a victory if someone's strong enough. Santo is nearly unkillable and strong as fucking hell, and Raphael really admires that. Like, a lot. He knows he won't be able to reach that kind of invincibility just because he's not made of rock, but he's stepped up his training because he wants to get stronger than Santo someday EVEN IF THAT IS A LOFTY IDEAL SHUT UP
But because Raphael can't ever see a good thing for what it is, he's also working on not getting too attached. Which is going poorly. But he is, because eventually one or both of them will go home, and probably not remember each other, or Santo will go home and not remember him and then come back and not remember him again, and etc etc girly feelings that Raph pretends not to dwell on. Point is, if there is a gift horse Raphael will not only look in its mouth he will test it and find it wanting because it's ALWAYS wanting. At some point he and Santo are gonna go their separate ways and not be friends anymore. ...but Raph is kind of still smitten with that New/First Friend smell and is kind of not thinking long-term enough to really start taking steps. He'd rather just be happy for once.
tl;dr Santo is his best friend outside of his brothers and Raphael loves him like a dudebro loves his other dudebros <3333333

WELL THERE YOU HAVE IT

Raphael hasn't really ever had a person that was solely HIS pal before, like all their friends are mutual and whenever a kid grows up in a family where most of their things are shared, having something that's JUST YOURS is really, really super awesome.
Santo is mostly Just Raph's, although he got kind of grrr when he saw Santo getting along with Mikey because BACK OFF MIKEY THAT'S HIS FRIEND >8C and that's why he was so pleased to see Leo and Santo not get along. Because Santo is HIS friend, go away brothers.
It's a really childish thing and Raphael knows it is so he tries not to be obvious about it, and also because Raphael isn't a kid and he's practically grown up and why would normal family dynamics work with them anyway b/c they are a ninja clan and etc etc etc background musings on Raphael
THE POINT IS
That Raphael is possessive of his friend and that makes him jealous and self-conscious when he sees Santo chilling out with people who aren't him. Which is stupid. Because Santo has his own life and it's not like Raph is a jealous girlfriend or anything jesus christ.

Cas very much likes Jim, and not just because Jim's similar to Dean. Jim was pretty stubborn in trying to clarify what he was saying, but he wasn't like uhhh condescending about it I guess, like Dean can be, and plus with that whole sit-up-and-pay-attention thing Jim did, Cas got a flash of that determination and responsibility that he admires in other people.
I WOULD LIKE FOR THEM TO THREAD MORE AND ALSO I REALLY WANT CAS TO THREAD WITH SPOCK, PREFERABLY WITH EITHER JIM OR DEAN OR BOTH OF THEM WATCHING SO I WILL KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR OPPORTUNITIES

OKAY SO BRUCE
Hahaha oh my god i'm so sorry raphael is such a rude little fuck
OKAY SO Bruce caught Raphael in a good mood and by bruce caught i mean raphael slammed into bruce's personal space whilst in a good mood, so
He asked Bruce something that has been bothering him for...his whole life I guess, but blew it off as a "i don't fucking care about this topic but tell me what you think anyway i'm serious" sort of way. He was surprised to hear that Bruce also considers himself a mutant but since he hasn't seen the Hulk yet he's all "pfft whatever" like the little shit he is. He thought Bruce was kind of wimpy and nerdy, a lot like Donatello, but then Bruce got all assertive and Raphael had to reassess and go 'okay maybe sometimes he has a spine' but still doesn't think much of the guy.
I'M SORRY BRUCE HE JUST DOESN'T HOLD INTELLIGENCE IN HIGH ESTEEM UNLESS IT MAKES HIM STUFF LIKE CARS AND MOTORCYCLES
But yeah so Raph kind of got his bully on in that conversation because...um because he's a bully, mostly. And he decided to bully a grown man without even finding out of what that grown man is capable. He's an awful child.

Raphael can respect Vic being a good fighter and he was kind of (read: completely) taunting the guy and all he did was go 'well okay let's have a bet' so Raphael can respect that he didn't storm off in a tanty. Like Raphael would have.
BUT
Vic also reminds Raphael strongly of Leo and while that's not always a bad thing, Vic reminds Raph of all the things about Leo that ANNOY THE SHIT OUT OF RAPHAEL and there isn't the added benefit of having saved each other's lives or being related by blood and raised together and so on and so forth so there's that. WHICH IS. HAH.
On top of that Raph learned that Vic is Santo's best bro From Home and is like, his crime-fighting pardner and all that stuff AND NOW HE KINDA JELLY
so their future interactions are gonna be very interesting heh heh heh

Dean Dean Dean.
Dean-o.
Cas actually spends a lot of time worrying about Dean. He worries because Sam isn't here, and he knows how important to Dean his brother is. Sam and Dean operate as a unit; even when they're fighting they're still a team, though sometimes divided, but they always end up back together in the end and excluding their dozens of complexes, they love each other as only family can. So yeah, being away from Sam for an extended period of time always makes Dean edgy. The only time Cas has seen Dean handle being away from Sam well is in Purgatory, and that's because Dean was venting all his frustrations on killing the shit out of monsters.
Even then that didn't work well. Cas still remembers every prayer Dean said, after all.
So yeah, he's worried about Dean for that. He's also worried about Dean because Dean is a functioning alcoholic, and not having the funds here to get the amount of booze he usually puts away is probably a strain. Cas has brought Dean a bottle or two of liquor here and there, and trying to make sure Dean is fed without making it look like Dean's being babied because fuck, Cas knows Dean can look after himself but his usual methods of looking after himself aren't available here. No credit cards, no hustling pool, just whatever odd jobs he can pick up.
So yeah, sometimes Cas will get food and tell Dean to show him how to cook something because he's sort of curious, but also because it gets a meal into Dean, who doesn't take the best care of himself anyway. Cas didn't even notice that for a while, but three weeks after he'd arrived he saw how little sleep Dean got -and that's compared to his usual 'four hours here and there' schedule- and how much weight he'd lost and he realized that Sam usually takes care of Dean.
So yeah. He's worried some.

While Cas can be absurdly patient (note that this is not applicable for all things because Cas can also be the most impatient motherfucker on the planet) when it comes to Dean's attitude, it doesn't mean he will be. He'll give Dean some leeway if he can tell that the guy's stressed out or angry about something else, but if Dean goes too far Cas will knock him back down. He has, actually, a couple times here already.
He's annoyed because he's making efforts to get them out of here, but Dean seems to think that he's just flitting all over dicking around. Dean usually assumes that Cas is just dicking around whenever he can't see the immediate effects of whatever Castiel is doing, or maybe he's not assuming that but the way he talks it sure SOUNDS like he assumes that and it annoys the everloving shit out of Castiel. HE'S PRETTY MUCH INCAPABLE OF NOT DOING IMPORTANT THINGS, DEAN. IT'S KIND OF HIS NATURE TO BE PRODUCTIVE SO SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT HIM NOT BEING AROUND OK HE'S TRYING TO FREE YOU, JACKASS
So yeah Cas can get pretty fed up with Dean too.
no subject
Just four years with Dean has forged a stronger friendship than all of that.
So yeah, Cas still adores Dean. He wouldn't put up with all the bullshit if he didn't, but more than that he wouldn't waste the time and energy it takes to be worried, or to be angry, or any other number of negative emotions. Castiel might not have the capacity to not feel anymore (thanks for that Dean, no seriously actually thanks), and maybe it's impaired a lot of his judgment, but Castiel wouldn't give it up to go back the way he was. He might be more at peace if he did but he's starting to get that "I'll take the pain, all of it" speech Dean gave when advocating for the emotion and free will of the human race.
Dean gets stuff Cas doesn't, things Cas WANTS to get, but can never quite wrap his brain around.
So no matter how much pain or guilt or sadness Castiel suffers now, he knows it's offset by feelings like joy, like belonging, like love. Things he'd never felt before, not to the full extent he does now. He doesn't even know if he can feel as strongly as a human can, but it doesn't matter; this capacity to feel is important, and his morals are guided along by it. He's adopted a lot of Dean's personal ethics as his own and maybe he doesn't agree with everything Dean advocates, but he agrees with the main ones. Dean's been just way too much of an influence on him at this point, and it's something Cas wouldn't trade for the world.
OKAY I THINK THIS IS IT unless i think of something later
Dean doesn't listen to stuff if he doesn't bring it up first. Usually. Especially when it concerns his feelings. ...talking to Dean about his feelings is like navigating a minefield of anger and denial and self-loathing, and Castiel is beginning to appreciate the hardship Sam suffers on a day-to-day basis.
This Dean is from before, so he's fresh out of Purgatory and seriously antsy because of it. Granted, Dean seems to have adjusted back to normal (as normal as his gets) life after Purgatory with abnormal speed, but then again considering the dump truck's worth of Horrible Past he's already got to deal with, it's kind of unsurprising that Dean just shoves that pain in with the rest.
Cas isn't going to hover or fret endlessly, because that's not what he do. He's also preoccupied with his own problems and trials and feelings, but Dean is very much related to most of them, and more than that Cas cares about Dean. He doesn't want Dean hurt or dead. These things happen, sometimes with alarming frequency, but Cas is much less capable of fixing those things here so maybe he's slightly more protective. Slightly. Very slightly.
