Hello, chelonauts! The CR With Me meme is back and ready for action!

When it comes to our CR meme, we do ask that you be as specific as you can! 'Our characters should team up to moon Eshai' is going to help establish an idea of what sort of CR you're looking for better than 'omg tag me.'

We're still using the modified form, including the two sections titled "Current Status" for a summary of what your character's been up to and "CR Goals" for the plotting and discussion of gaps in your character's CR spectrum that you would like to fill! We've also added a bit for plotting regarding the current event (Spa Day) and longterm impact (eventual resumption of rationing).

Current Event | Spa Day
We are midway through the Spa Day event, with the open log kicking serious shell at 705 comments (and counting)! Tu Vishan is currently in tropical, nutrient-rich waters and is enjoying a temporary relief of its illness due to the efforts of the Foreigners. The concept of 'plenty' has returned and a festival is being held to celebrate these joyous tidings. This event will run until the first of May -- that means there is plenty of time remaining to plot!

CHARACTER: Dorian Gray
CANON: The Confessions of Dorian Gray
PERSONALITY: Mercurial, emotional manchild with immortality. Capricious on the best of days, he is charming and pleasant sometimes and cold, entitled, and paranoid at other times. He is hedonistic and obsessed with aesthetics, and his manners can swing from 19th century gentleman to 21st century partier in about two seconds flat.
CURRENT STATUS: So he's doing okay right now! But with the portrait and the book and other tensions like the return of rationing, a potential relapse into guarded, lashing-out discontent is possible.

He is also super distrusting of the Emperor and is in the loop about some of the things that have been discovered, so he's involved in that!
CR GOALS: No particular goals here! I'm open to everything. I do want to deepen current CR. I am also okay with both positive and negative cr, because he deserves both.
SCENE-DOS: I tend to stay off network posts because, for some reason, I just have a really hard time tagging into them? I fail, I know. I am happy to switch between prose and actionspam, though! In general, I like anything, from relationship-building casual things to derpy threads to horrible violent terrible things.
SCENE-DON'TS: Nothing in particular? All human experience, aww yeah!
SPA DAY: I have no open threads because I'm trying not to overwhelm myself balancing things, so I've been slowly tagging in like a tentative fish nipping at threads. So I hope to be doing more tagging around there in upcoming days!
RATIONING: Before now, Dorian has been eating necessary essentials because Steve made him promise (dammit). After, he'll continue to be okay, but he will be suffering from a lack of alcohol and cigarettes. It makes him edgy, to say the least.
ADDITIONAL: It continues to be easier to find Dorian at night than during the day! He still sleeps through most days.

CANON: marvel 1610
PERSONALITY: rogue, as her name suggests, is a wild card. she likes being contrary and arguing with people, she's passionate about nearly everything, and she's emotionally turbulent in ways you might expect from a teenage girl who's been a runaway for most of her life. however, she's also incredibly kind and loving, and developing the more altruistic sides of her personality. she likes people, but she's kind of intense in some ways.
CURRENT STATUS: she is still relatively new! so just... settling in.
CR GOALS: again, new, so most things are still developing! i'm willing to throw her at just about anyone, and mostly just like seeing how things go once characters start threading.
SCENE-DOS: i can do prose or action-spam and like most if not all genre. i'd love for her to use her powers on someone, either inadvertently or under trying circumstances. i am also that player who always wants characters to go out for coffee and talk about feelings. always. fight scenes are fun! arguments are fun! everything is fun ok.
SCENE-DON'TS: nothing in particular comes to mind? i'll let you know.

CHARACTER: Bryn Zethir
CANON: Original (Askoupur)

PERSONALITY: 25 year old woman raised in lower end of noble class with military leanings balances her roots with her more down to earth attitudes and overwhelming sense of curiosity. Trusts just about anyone until they prove they don't deserve it, happily flirts and engages in casual flings, and thrives on having company often throughout the day. Open minded, practical, and with a very, very deep pride in her family, deity, culture, and country.

CURRENT STATUS: Bryn has been working in the fields since rationing/decay started. She has been doing this while maintaining her job with Wayne Enterprises, something she's able to do with her splitting ability (three copies of herself running around at once!). She is currently in an open friends-with-benefits arrangement with Grantaire, close friends with Henry Wotton (and then some, god Karin what are we doing), Annabeth Chase (ladymance!), Dorian Gray (music and hedonism!), and just, she has been making all the friends/flirting with all the people/talking about her world to anyone who will listen? During landfall she acquired her family sword from Annabeth, and after the statuette of her diety Jhirem from Damian. There was a naked trip to the beach with Grantaire, the amis, and others, and all other sorts of activities currently going on /o/

CR GOALS: Bryn has...quite a lot of people in her life right now who are potentially awful influences h-hah. I am working on getting her more female CR at the moment and feeling better about that lately, so I guess what I'd really like to develop with her more is some close knit relationships. Pseudo-family bonds would be excellent. CR that heads in a more romantic direction would be excellent if it happens, to balance all of her more no-strings-attached involvements at the moment. Also just...always love all the friends ever? People she can have fun with, tease, go out with, run around with spar with, all the things?

SCENE-DOS: Brackets over prose style is preferred though of course I can do both. I like network communication though I don't seem to be doing a lot of that lately idk? I like slice of life and just regular conversations when there is a topic for them to focus on. I love banter forever and ever and ever. Flirting and shippy scenes are excellent, and all of the shenanigans idk? I am open to a lot of stuff.

SCENE-DON'TS: Please no emotional hurt/comfort without discussing with me in advance. I'm open to dealing with physical injuries absolutely, but emotional melt downs are a thing I really can't have sprung on me. I like slice of life as mentioned above, but I don't like scenes to drag on forever. I'm finding that my attention span is somewhere between 2-4 weeks for threads, depending on how they're going. I backtag happily but I also like being able to tie threads up nice and neat.

CANON: DCU | GREEN LANTERN CORPS
PERSONALITY: A dedicated and driven (read: workaholic) neurosurgeon that balances being a space cop with doctor things, Soranik Natu has a quick temper and plenty of arrogance to go along with it. Also has Issues about fear/abuse of power thanks to a space fascist who just so happens to be her father.
CURRENT STATUS: Still running her clinic - if anyone who knows medicine she will want to hit you up. Also managing a GL HQ out of her second floor for the foreseeable future, so if anyone needs a Lantern for anything feel free to stop by and pick from one (1) of three (3) various nightlights.
CR GOALS: None, except that I'd really like for her to get some unexpected CR - she's in a much better mood than she has been and is more likely to be dragged out of her clinic for whatever. This goes for new CR and established!
SCENE-DOS: Everything? I enjoy building unexpected CR and I don't mind negative CR at all - it can be just as enjoyable as positive.
SCENE-DON'TS: I don't really have any, but if something comes up that I'm uncomfortable with I normally try to PM someone about it.
SPA DAY: food & swimming!
RATIONING: She's going to be posting something about making sure people are as healthy as they can be during rationing once I do more research on what that actually entails.

PERSONALITY: Percy is basically an easy going, friendly guy with a soft spot for saving all of the things. All of them. He's so loyal it's legit his fatal flaw. He's ADHD so his attention span can wander, but he likes to make friends.
CURRENT STATUS: Looking after his giant hellhound, hanging out with his girlfriend (hi Annabeth :B) and derping around in the ocean.
CR GOALS: Anything, really!

RATIONING: Honestly he is just trying to deal with the situation as best he can. He probably hits up the community centre for food despite best intentions, because he's a teenage boy with a giant hellhound to feed.

PERSONALITY: She's a standoffish jerk with PTSD out the ass. She also likes to shoot things with arrows. Usually not people.

CR GOALS: Actual Friends! Or acquaintances or something. She's such a jerk it's hard to get close to her, but I'd really love to build up some close friendships even if it takes a while. Also, bring me your archers.

CANON: DCU
PERSONALITY: Eleven year old who was trained an assassin and raised to rule the world until he was ten. Not nice, but has been growing into mostly decent, and has a soft spot for children. And he's taken up his father's mission of protecting those who need protection well enough to heart. (Also very good at fighting and strategy and languages and music and art and decent-ish in detective work and tactics.) He may, on occasion, be a walking, talking trigger for child abuse.
CURRENT STATUS: Damian had a few shaking experiences, especially connected with his Dick Grayson disappearing and the other Dick Grayson zombifying, but has been on the recovery again, thanks to Steph and Kyle, and a little bit Jack (who is Complicated). He can still come off as a snotty, superior, bratty, incomprehensible little shit if contact starts on the wrong foot, but he's working on it. Also having other under-thirteens around is good for him, especially seeing how they are all special.
CR GOALS: This month, I'd like him to keep on growing. He has two messes that I'd like him to at least start fixing (Toro and Guy), and so much new stuff to explore. Maybe head into the organization of the bitties, if my work is more merciful, to me. (With Ender and Bean, chances are that Damian might not be leading the thing, but still!)
SCENE-DOS: Pretty much anything. Teaching Damian lessons (they don't have to be taught nicely either) is always a go, but far from limited to that. Seeking out/figuring clues about the situation, adventures, just about anything. (He's unlikely to subject easily to fluff, though the spa event comes closer to the possibility than usual, but it might be interesting.)
SCENE-DON'TS: As usual, no angst for only angst's sake (some of it happens, and that's okay! Beautiful even. Just not making it the focus of stuff). No 'ships, because eleven. ;)
SPA DAY: Damian is quietly at the edge of Steph's party, and he can show up where he's wanted? Mostly he's quietly watching, a notch better than his usual stalking. Because Tu Vishan.
RATIONING: Damian's been working to help out where plausible. He's already signed over his alcohol ration to R, because he asked, and what he has left over, he helps redistribute towards those who need it more. He's been helping with the efforts to maintain the turtle that the kedan organize, spending as much time with the younger kedan as he's still allowed (probably not much, but Damian still seems a child - and he's been around for months, so they know him), and watching the scientific approach to the effort of recovering Tu Vishan. He's uneasy about the hostility from the kedan, and may be considering Jack's suggestion (I'll make a plotting post/event request when I've figured out more details), but not doing anything much, other than trying to keep people as safe as he can.

CHARACTER: Bucky Barnes
CANON: MCU
PERSONALITY: Outgoing, determined, ladies' man, and a little sharp, Bucky's an orphan from Brooklyn who grew up with the man who was to become Captain America, became a soldier (and part of a special team) during WWII, and then... fell off a train. He's also been around since August, and he's working hard on bridging up the information and technology gap.
CURRENT STATUS: Bucky's been learning about what he became after the trainfall, and also training more intensely with Natasha. Between that, during-zombies mess, Favrielle leaving, and Rikki's arm getting broken while she was on a patrol, he's not a happy cookie. But he's making do. He's also asked Inara to try teaching him to be a Companion. Shhh, awesome life choices.
CR GOALS: Hmmm I want to get him more involved. Things I may have promised and forgotten?
SCENE-DOS: I'm good with just about anything. Teach a 1940s soldier about more modern things - and attitudes - sure. Those who are further behind learning from him or alongside? Sure. Spoiler him for what's to come... yep (though he thinks he's got that covered, now). Slice of life, action, romance, fighting, sadtimes, humor, positive CR, not-so-positive... You name it. I'll likely do it. Both action and prose are also absolutely fine.
SCENE-DON'TS: Again with the no-angst-for-angst's-sake. Most other things, let me know, and I'll likely be up for them!
SPA DAY: Anywhere that you want him! He's at the naked French boys party with Molly, at Steph's party, splashing around with Natasha... if you want him other places, just whistle!
RATIONING: Helping out in Wood sector, and he's volunteered to Bruce (Banner) and Nita to help out with fetch-and-carry or whatever they need for the mending of the Turtle. Mmm no other specific plans, so far!

PERSONALITY: Jerk politician who sometimes tries to do the right thing but is also power-hungry because he's desperate to compensate for the fact that his father was a criminal and he was the least favorite son.
CURRENT STATUS: He's trying to get the council going again, and is also trying to keep people from befriending his stupid brother because he doesn't want Noatak to start gathering potential followers for another damn revolution.
CR GOALS: What's your dream CR to obtain this month? Do you want to work on developing current CR or splash into something new?
SCENE-DOS: Anything, really.
SCENE-DON'TS: Nope, there's nothing I really have objections to.
SPA DAY: Tarrlok is a grump right now so he isn't doing anything for spa day.
RATIONING: He's pretty upset about the rationing because he doesn't like other people telling him what to do and certainly not by force, so he'll probably be raising more objections at some point. He's also going to be donating food to Steve's food bank because he has to prove that he'd do it on his own if he wasn't forced. Something good came out of Tarrlok's ego, hooray!

CANON: Legend of Korra

PERSONALITY: A partisan revolutionary who dropped the 'blessed by the spirits' act and just went back to his old grassroots movement, molotov tossing ways with more noncommittal attitude. Fond of technology and interested in learning more about the tech of Keelai and other modernized worlds. Dude hates Ayn Rand. Cagey and unstable when pushed to his limits or backed into a corner.

Likely to not reveal too much about himself in fear of reprisal. Not that he really has much of a choice with his brother more than happy to shout his crimes from the rooftops. Fortunately for him the worst of his crimes have been brushed under the rug- y'know, for now. Trying to keep his head down and his nose clean, but that is an impossible dream. He wants to undermine the Emperor and has a natural distrust for the super powered foreign population too much to sit still forever.

CURRENT STATUS: Working out of a clinic in a part of the Earth sector that is very poor and riddled with crime. That almost makes him a good person, but he's still a massive asshole. Just about everyone has seen him without his mask at this point, and he only keeps it because he simply can't drop an identity he held onto so long.

Can swear in French now and read minimal English. wtg u tried so hard

CR GOALS: Both positive and negative CR. Amon can be pragmatic in what he does, and even agreeable if not amicable at times. Unfortunately he's still manipulative and too embittered to be anyone's best friend. Falling into the morally grey villain category makes things difficult for a clean start.

SCENE-DOS: Just about anything

SCENE-DON'TS: ...that doesn't fall into unplanned injuries or out of left field hurt/comfort scenarios. Willing to do basically anything with a little cooperative planning.

RATIONING: Amon is used to living on almost nothing and spreading his resources thin. While he might ask for help in regards to medical supplies at his clinic he'll otherwise be sitting pretty when it comes to necessities.

JSYK He hoards alcohol and other recreational rations he never uses He doesn't plan on selling them at inflated prices; he just has no idea what to do with them.

CHARACTER: Hellboy
CANON: Hellboy (comics)
PERSONALITY: Giant red half-demon that spent his life living as a human, protecting the world from monsters a lot like him. He's spent most of his life traveling the world, working for the BPRD, and has come to be known as the World's Greatest Paranormal Investigator. Not too long ago he quit the Bureau to look into his origins, which only came to bite him in the ass, and has been pretty sullen ever since. He's gruff but well-meaning, has a sense of humor drier than the Sahara, and tries his damndest to be one of the good guys.
CURRENT STATUS: Optionally, you can give a quick rundown of what your character's been up to in the game and their short-term goals.
CR GOALS: Recently he's been pretty low with general feelings of uselessness and personal stuff. It's been especially bad since he hasn't been able to afford alcohol to drown his feelings like he normally does. He's been doing a lot of brooding and a lot of wandering around in an attempt to find some kind of distraction.
SCENE-DOS: I'm open to anything, though I'd be especially interested in running a small player plot with one of our more monstrous residents. Is your character a vampire or a werewolf, or maybe has some kind of demon-thing inside of them? THROW 'EM AT ME! I'd love to get some negative or even positive CR from any plots we can think of.
SCENE-DON'TS: I'm okay with pretty much anything! Though personally I prefer doing action logs in prose for both my characters. Still, I'm pretty flexible.
SPA DAY: I haven't tagged into this yet, but Hellboy will probably end up getting drunk as a skunk and embarrassing himself. I'd like him to run into one of those creatures coming out of the woodwork, too. Maybe both at the same time. Who knows! I'm tagging into that tomorrow.
RATIONING: Hellboy really doesn't need to eat or drink to survive, so he's mostly been giving his rations to people who need it more. Though it's made him very crabby. Now that it's lifted he'll definitely nab himself a supply of booze and a pack of cigs. Oh yes.


CHARACTER: Raphael
CANON: TMNT (2k3)
PERSONALITY: Big enormous jackass with emotional complexes for days. Violent as hell when he has the excuse and has more false bravado than you can believe. But actually he's an okay guy once you get to know him. Winning that trust is hard, but when it happens you got a friend for life.
CURRENT STATUS: Is doing as well as he can be. Still trying to cope with the whole turtles from other dimensions thing, and he's pretty damn homesick right now. Bleh.
CR GOALS: I just want to get Raph to open up a little before he explodes (again). But any CR is good. It's pretty damn hard to get him to make friends.
SPA DAY: No plans as of yet, but I'm working on changing that.
RATIONING: Nothing much is gonna change for Raph. He's not exactly used to a life of luxury, and the rationing hasn't impacted him all that much.

CHARACTER: Victor Borkowski (Anole)
CANON: Marvel Comics: X-Men (616)
PERSONALITY: A generally friendly mutant, he tries to be a voice of reason in groups. He's content to hang out and enjoy life with friends but he'll also join in on superhero action if he has to. He's very protective of his friends and will put himself in danger for them. He can hold some grudges but he'll rescue someone he dislikes if its the right thing to do.
CURRENT STATUS: Victor's all recovered from the beating he suffered during Landfall thanks to his healing factor. It's put him in a generally bad mood and the hostilities from the Kedan have him worried about his friends and the state of foreigner-kedan relations. He's still doing the vigilante thing at night and staying in a Water Sector suite with Santo lent to them by Mera. The current spa stop and recent activities with Wally West have significantly improved his mood.
CR GOALS: I'd like to get Vic out there meeting some more new people and develop his newer CR further. And as always, I'm happy to develop things with older CR too. Getting him a mentor figure would be nice as well.
SCENE-DOS: I'm good with just about anything, really. Not as much into heavy angst but some is okay. Just ask before getting extra violent.
SCENE-DON'TS: Heavy angst isn't something I'm looking for. Slice of life is fine but if it's got no goal at all and just stretches on and on then I kind of lose interest.
SPA DAY: Vic is loving this spa day:

RATIONING: Rationing will knock him right back into grumpy lizard mode. He's going to be more careful around the kedan and looking for a way he can help out with anything to try improving conditions. He'll also be looking for a new job.

CANON: Old Kingdom
PERSONALITY: Serious young necromancer who comes from a family dedicated to using their power to fight the undead and dark magic. Relatively friendly and trusting, unless you're undead or practice dark magic. (And she can sense whether or not a character is undead.)
CURRENT STATUS: Tutoring people in magic and enjoying the festivities. Starting to feel that being Abhorsen mean she should be doing more to help people.
CR GOALS: Getting her to talk to someone about being Abhorsen. Tutoring her students/possibly doing some kind of group log? Have her develop some negative CR. I'd also love to deepen her existing CR and do some action-oriented stuff with her.
SCENE-DOS: I'm up for almost anything!
SCENE-DON'TS: There isn't much I'm opposed to?
SPA DAY: At Stephanie's beach party

RATIONING: Sabriel is likely to try to do what she can to scrape by, and quite possibly sell her alcohol rations since she doesn't use them herself.

She'll also use her magic to purify water/try to keep the plants healthy, for all the good it'll do, and try those spells to her students.
ADDITIONAL: If anyone is still interested in their characters learning Charter magic, there are a few spots left.

CHARACTER: Jehan Prouvaire

PERSONALITY: Still impossibly sweet and good, though he's a bit more prone to being short tempered with people because the rationing's hard and two of the people he considers as some of the most important are affected by it in lots of bad ways: Grantaire and Dorian. His episode at the end of last month didn't do much to help, either. He's still very kind, though, and this plot will help mellow him out again even after it's gone
CURRENT STATUS: ATM he is the happiest poet possible with the break in rationing, the calming aura, and the general good mood on the turtle. He's also currently stocking up on what he can for post-spa day, namely alcohol, paper and assorted writing bits, spices, and anything else he think of that might make the return to rationing less of a pain. It won't be much, obviously, but anything to make the fish Temeraire keeps bringing him taste differet 8| He's having fun, but he's planning for the future. He's working in a bookstore in the Wood Sector now, too.
CR GOALS: Anything! I'm all for new CR or building on past, vague CR or anything else. I'm trying to get him back out of the shell he retreated into last month.
SCENE-DOS: I typically do better with actionspam, and is actually probably best for Jehan as the guy's prone to random trains of thought and lots of introspection and really prose is too wordy with this guy.
SCENE-DON'TS: Nothing terribly horrifying, disturbing, or overly vicious. Angst is fine (hello, look at his canon) but the poor boy's already been killed and is dealing with that trauma. Let's keep him from anymore.
SPA DAY: He's the one hosting that naked beach party, and that's all I've got up right now. If someone would like to do something with him not at the party, though, lemme know!
RATIONING: Previously, he was basically living on fish, giving Grantaire his luxury item (always wine) to try and make soberity less of a pain, and generally trying to avoid the kedan. When the rationing starts up again, he'll have a small selection of things he got during the break to make it less annoying, but basically aside from only some of the kedan instead of all of them he's going to be doing the same thing.

PERSONALITY: Old racist elf (only looks about mid-late twenties tho) who like to hide in the Wood Sector and hate humans and was a commando freedom fighter dude that put people's faces in ant hills back home :'3 He's pretty much a dick to anyone human, but getting into his good graces is possible. Hard, but possible. Nonhumans have a much better chance. And I'm totally open for positive or negative cr :'3 He eats nuts and berries and is a grossly good archer.
CURRENT STATUS: After the whole snapping the necks of two Atam guards, getting mauled by like ten more of them, and sentenced to execution aaaand busted out, he's still sporting some cuts and bruises from all that, but this week he is giving no shits, and getting high as balls with Fenris and anyone who wanders by :|b

CURRENT STATUS: Well, he just showed up a few days ago, and while he can handle the turtle just fine, it's more the fact that people don't remember him or are looking for a different him and it's making him miss his Outlaw bros and feel super alone 8( But people have also been really helpful, and he's pretty much exercising escapism by just... socializing with people and catching turtles and pretending everything's a-ok.

CURRENT STATUS: Dean broke into the palace and stole a book from the library but he hasn't shared much about it with much of anybody yet. Mostly he spends his days working or gambling and learning all the lore about the place as he can. Also he has a kind of ridiculous amount of salt in his suite.
CR GOALS: I want to all of the above. I'm really enjoying a lot of Dean's existing CR, partly because he keeps somehow allying himself with non-humans (DEAN WHAT) but I also want to get him some new CR, especially with women.
SCENE-DOS: I like basically everything as long as it doesn't involve long, drawn-out angst. Negative CR is sexy, so I love arguments, fights, general disagreements, rivalries, etc. I also really love positive CR, so hit me up with cuddle buddies and flirtations and affectionate teasing, too. 8> Also, hugs.

PERSONALITY: connor is a normal guy who shoots arrows and does martial arts and superhero stuff because his dad did it and he wants to be like his dad (the hero), who didn't know connor existed until hal jordan (ollie's bff) was like yo, that's a good kid you have there. then ollie went crazy and died. so, he would have some issues about being abandoned and such but he's a monk. and monks have mentor-monks, and his was master jansen and occasionally eddie fyers so he's got all the father figures he needs. connor's very in-tune with himself and knows how to figures out his own messes. occasionally, he's plagued with doubts of whether or not he should be a ~superhero~. and occasionally, he makes contact with the opposite sex. rarely, he kills people. connor's also a master of martial arts, kyudo and other stuff like zen training, ninja stars throwing, vegan diet planning...stuff.
CURRENT STATUS: connor's helping out with the rationing effort. he's going out in the uncultivated lands and attempting to make that work for now especially but for the future as well. he's a bit sun damaged and tired but otherwise okay. he's also attempting to teach oliver queen a thing or two about inner peace, interrogating roy harper and idk bothering people at the lantern house. and probably going to get told off by storm

PERSONALITY: A very quiet, mild-mannered, conflict avoidant kind of guy that would really rather slip under the radar. Beneath this is a genius level intellect, a penchant for humanitarian altruism, and more suppressed anger and self-loathing than you could shake a stick at. That last part comes out as the Hulk, who, well-- is his own barrel of issues. There's also a penchant for snark that shows up sometimes, if infrequently, in both embittered and dry flavors.

CURRENT STATUS: Bruce is a busy bee. LET'S SEE. 1. He works at Stark Industries being a genius and doing SCIENCE. He's been investigating (and making progress on!) the turtle's illness.

2. He's setting up an indoor hydroponics garden that will be made in cooperation with the kedan and kept isolated from the sickness affecting the rest of Tu Vishan. He is very much looking for other people to be involved in this.

Annnd 3. He's working on accepting, and controlling, the Hulk, which is going to get him into some serious shenanigans coming up.

CR GOALS: I'm honestly usually ecstatic to do anything, but in particular I'd like to do stuff with: 1. genuinely kind, open characters that push him into interacting more; 2. children of any kind, but especially smart ones, as they ping his issues; 3. anyone that would needle him and point out the huge gaping fallacies in his logic.

SCENE-DOS: I'm really an enormously huge sucker for hurt/comfort, so anyone that could make that happen would get my undying love. Right now my long term character development plans center around trying to get the Hulk to be more of an independent character, which is tricky since Bruce doesn't, you know, let him out ever if he can help it. We're working on that. xD I'd love to hear ideas if someone wants in on a Hulk plot. I also would like him to make some legitimately close, loyal, devoted connections of some kind, because they anchor him and lead to far fewer dumb, self-sacrificing martyr decisions.

SCENE-DON'TS: I actually quite enjoy practical small talk based discussions and get worried that everyone else is bored with them and wishing they could get to the good stuff. XD;; But for my part, I kinda like it. My own personal don'ts... idk? I think there's very little I'd refuse to play out of hand. I'm easy.

SPA DAY: I threw him in at the fireworks if you want him, but I didn't want to start too many threads right before leaving cause that felt like a tease. :( But if you don't mind late backtagging it, I am really excited about this event in particular because man, once in a lifetime opportunity to see Bruce actually relaxed. CURRENT STATUS:

As Clark Kent Lois and him have been working to get the Radio Station up and working, and I got mod-confirmation that we can consider the building job done in May! So heads up, they will be looking for reporters.

As Superman he's determined to convince everyone the metahumans are not that bad! And to train them, because the alternative is to risk accidents whenever they can't control their powers. He's also always open to talk.

CR GOALS: Uhm... nothing specific comes to mind, but I always love to get new close CR for him! Both as Superman and as Clark.
SCENE-DOS: I'm not big on idle chatter, but apart from that I'm all yours! Drama, fluff, anything is good for this guy.

CURRENT STATUS: Has achieved a (temporary, no doubt) measure of détente with Dorian. Bought a gun (!) in Atam, where he also found a copy of The Picture of Dorian Gray, now in Dorian's hands. Working Loafing at Daowei's bookstore in the Wood sector. Has somehow become a gentleman smuggler and black marketeer with a load of PC contacts and delivery people. FWB with Alcuin. Friends with and likely bad influence on Bryn. Hilariously antagonistic friendship with Grantaire. Got zapped by one of Sabriel's books. Surprisingly friendly with Steve Rogers.
CR GOALS: More gentleman black marketeer stuff; some of it should probably bite him on the ass at some point. He could do with another enemy or two. He needs to be more sociable in general, I reckon. Also I'd like him to be dreadfully rude to someone and put his unreconstructed nineteenth century ass on display; he's been too careful for too long. I'm willing to get him punched over it.
SPA DAY: Skygazing, hanging out with Jehan and co. Plus tagged in to various other folks.
RATIONING: He's discreetly stashing away a store of alcohol and other goodies, and will be back to his gentleman smuggler business (see above).
ADDITIONAL: Henry gets around. When he's not at his suite or at the bookstore, he wanders the streets of Keeliai and can turn up more or less anywhere. This tendency will probably also bite him on the ass eventually too.

PERSONALITY: Time traveller, meddler, optimist, designed for crisis. She's tough and resilient, curious, competent, and adventurous. Sympathises with the underdog. Loves hopeless causes. Experienced as only a quasi-immortal time traveller can be.
CURRENT STATUS: She discovered some diary pages in the palace library during the landfall event. She's reluctant to cause a panic and so is being selective with who she tells about them. Friendly with Dorian. Flirting a bit with Bruce Wayne. Talking to Bucky about the craziness that is the Multiverse. Talking temporal physics with Tony Stark. Friendly with Bryn, Aisha, and Sabriel.
CR GOALS: Needs moar friends/acquaintances/associates. I'd like her to get more political, and eventually I need to get her in touch with more people involved in metaplot stuffs. Eventually she needs to tell more people about the pages she found. She found her time machine (a bicycle) (no, really) in Atam, but it's broken. She may be looking to get it fixed.
SPA DAY: Wandering the food stalls and singing music-hall songs.
RATIONING: She was helping with the planting and so forth and will go back to doing that. She's also going to be keeping her ear close to the ground for any increasing unrest.

SCENE-DOS: I'm open to all the things. I'll backtag forever. I like tidy endings to scenes eventually. I like rambly talk-about-whatever conversations that set up relationships and establish facts. In scenes that have been specifically set up with a plan to cover certain amounts of plot/information, I'm a big fan of fast-forwarding to the meaty bits of the conversation and then fading out once that's been achieved (though if it turns out that going on is the thing to do, I'm good with that too.) Basically I'll say Yes to just about anything, as long as it's fun. Anytime you want to throw someone at one of my guys in an open thread, DO IT. You will be welcome.

Has a bit of an idealistic blind spot for compassionate people and actions. Tendency to morph into an earnest and eager puppy if he likes you enough or if you've earned his respect. Holds a current of buried anger beneath the surface as a result of his history as a persecuted sorcerer.
CURRENT STATUS: Alone (although slowly starting to meet and get better acquainted with people) and trying to adjust to his new life. Being a knight from Failalot, he's still getting used to the dramatically different environment. Short term goals include continuing to get a feel for the city and its various inhabitants, and he's also agreed to act as a helping hand for Bruce's hydroponic garden project when it occurs.
CR GOALS: My goal this month (and for the long term) is to build CR of all kinds, but specifically of the variety that includes people he might eventually trust enough to reveal his magic to. Extroverted CR = A++ and are the people he tends to gravitate towards.
SCENE-DOS: I'm an everything person, but I have a special place in my heart for drama, plot, and fluff scenes.
SCENE-DON'TS: Nothing particular comes to mind except gratuitous violence. I am spongy inside and writing it makes me feel a little nauseous.
RATIONING: He's going to be hanging onto food when and where he can, and trying to be careful with his juulan. He knows that helping out with the garden isn't going to pay so he's keeping an eye out for opportunities that will, but generally he's hanging out below the radar and gathering scraps of information from people as they reveal them.
ADDITIONAL: I am... kind of a slow tagger? By nature. I do, however, backtag on into eternity and hold onto threads for weeks on end??

PERSONALITY: Overly stoic young man, in denial about technically being a demon but also really lovely and caring. Also unreasonably sassy and sarcastic if the opportunity presents. (I'm running out of ways to describe him here guys.)

CURRENT STATUS: THANKING GOD FOR THIS EVENT TBH. He's relaxing and also stockpiling coffee for when rationing comes back into effect. Aside from that he's in a pretty bad place with his brains and (even though he has serious evidence that it is seriously bad for him and everyone else) he's kind of... ignoring that atm and being a gross hobo, which is kind of exacerbated by Keeliai in general being in an awful state.

CR GOALS: FRIENDS ALWAYS FRIENDS. EVERYONE BE HIS FRIEND HE NEEDS THOSE THINGS.

SCENE-DOS: Gosh, um. I'm fairly easy tbh. I say this every meme lmao. If a thread comes up that I'm not okay with for whatever reason, I'll bring it up to you!

SCENE-DON'TS: UH. Threads that are sort of aimless and meandering tend to lose my interest fairly quickly. Aside from that I am way easy.

SPA DAY: I've just put up the one thread for Steph's party, but I'm happy to start other threads or tag in wherever! He's pretty much just meandering around enjoying how calm and pretty everything is.

RATIONING: Aside from trying to figure out how to be concious without coffee all the time, he's getting by. Managed to hold on to his job and everything!

CHARACTER: Reno
CANON: Final Fantasy VII
PERSONALITY: JUST THE BIGGEST ASSHOLE. But he's kind of charming and good at feigning friendliness so he gets away with it. Also 600% paranoid and invested in finding out What The Hell Is Going On Here.

CURRENT STATUS: I have to get to the tags on his post, but right now he's curious about what even is in the library because that can't possibly be the only source of information around here. He's super invested in getting home because he is so not interested in the Emperor's bullshit.

CR GOALS: Allies. Sorta-friends. Drinking buddies. People to gossip with. People who hate him and his stupid, smug face. I'm pretty easy guys, let's talk.

SCENE-DOS: UH. A...nything? tbh I find it kind of hard to pre-emptively say what I will or won't enjoy.

SCENE-DON'TS: What sort of things are you a little more lukewarm about in regards to this character, or would rather flat-out avoid? Do you absolutely hate writing negative CR? Would you sooner chuck you laptop out a window before you write one more slice-of-life thread? All those considerations can go here.

SPA DAY: I've not posted up in the spa day thread with him yet, but mostly he's enjoying the weather and being significantly less bitter about the situation he's in. I'm happy to start threads or tag in if you have one up!

RATIONING: H-hahaha. Reno's pretty into coffee and booze and cigarettes so he's been MANAGING but he's also been 300% more grouchy than usual. Right now he's doing the smart thing and taking advantage of the rationing lift and improved mood to stock up and try to haggle for better prices.

CHARACTER: Zatanna Zatara
CANON: The Young and the Justice
PERSONALITY: Young, flirtatious, and with an insatiable need to relieve boredom, the Zatanna of Earth-16 is surprisingly "normal" for a superhero. She spent the first 14 years of her life out of the spotlight, at her father's insistence, and occasionally lives under his shadow. But in a good way: she loves and admires Giovanni Zatara more than anything. Even if she doesn't always listen, sneaking out of the house or volunteering to be "kidnapped" so she can go on missions with her new friends. Girl's mist likely serving multiple consecutive life grounding sentences at this point. She's impulsive and slightly insecure about her abilities, but she knows who she is and otherwise has great self confidence...to the point where she can be a little "innocent" at times to the darker side of the vigilante world.

CURRENT STATUS: Pff...somehow, things have been a bit of a blur since the last CR Meme. What has she been up to? Well, let's see: there was a Network post earlier this month protesting against the blood testing. As a result, she never officially made it to the mainland, though she did hover around the "safe" areas with her magic, catching a glimpse of the soldier state below. She had a few interesting conversations with people about that too, including a brief off-comm reunion with Eva (a thread that is still being played out, information-wise). She promised Annabeth she'd take her flying, and challenged Kyle to a caffeine challenge that ended up being moot when the two of them motorcycle raced their way into a milkshake challenge anyway. Because they're dorks like that. She and Jack are perpetually joined at the hip, and very recently she learned the Truth about his existence. After catching him in the bath. Awkward. She also knows about his crush on her now. She and Wally are having Discussions about Magic vs Science, and she and Kyle--fingers crossed--have FINALLY resolved the nearly month-long (possibly longer) ongoing fight of theirs ever since the Snow Day. She's starting to Get it. She and Damian are...something. "Friends" might be a little strong, but she's starting to see something resembling a little boy behind all that linefacing and >Tt<-ing. I know there are also plans for Pepper to invite her to dinner soon as well.

In the meantime, she's very much enjoying herself at the Beach Day, not even noticing that her inhibitions are a little lowered than usual. Will some thing come of this? Who knows?

CR GOALS: As always, I like to leave myself open for both continually developing the CR she's already got, while occasionally introducing her to some fresh faces.

SCENE-DOS: Anything and Everything. I'm Flexible.
SCENE-DON'TS: Anything too age-inappropriate to action out. If you're not sure, just ping me. I'm okay with most things, but I like to be respectful of other's opinions as well

SPA DAY: Zatanna's floating around, sometimes literally, doing things for Spa Day such as hanging around the beach, skywatching, and--of course--putting on a magic show. (For the record I also highly recommend checking out the video linked in that tag. Just because it's still one of my favorite performances of all time.)

RATIONING: Zatanna kept getting in trouble for staying out past curfew during the rationing, leading her a little short on the calorie front. Fortunately, she has a fabulous (overprotective) surrogate Big Bro and a Jack to sneak her snacks. Now that she's leaned her lesson...sort of...she'll be going out less frequently, and being a lot better about getting caught. Growing girl's gotta eat, you know.

CANON: DC Comics
PERSONALITY: Easygoing, free-spirited, introverted, dorky, but is very serious and stubborn when it comes to his duty. On the turtle so far he's become much warier and moodier, though it's improving as he's finally used to everything.
CURRENT STATUS: Currently mother henning his arrowbro Connor Hawke, as well as running himself ragged checking on his people.
CR GOALS: I feel I've severely been neglecting cross-canon CR, so I want to focus on this for the month. The main issue is it's easy to talk to him but not easy to get close to him, and I would like to push more for the latter.
SCENE-DOS: I tag faster if it’s actionspam but I have no preference otherwise. Kyle prefers interacting face to face.
SCENE-DON'TS: I don't mind slice of life but I lose interest if it doesn't have an end goal. Also, he doesn't engage well with people if he doesn't feel strongly positive or negative towards them.
