Ahhh that WOULD be adorable! If Jack saw a bear there with no kids, he would definitely take it, figuring he could give it to someone in Keeliai who'd appreciate it. But he'll give it once he learns it belongs to someone already.

Hmmm good question. With there being no portable consoles, it's hard for him to communicate outside of his suite or a public cafe. If its on the turtle though, he can ice pictogram at Bean lol. He probably won't have any juice left for it in Atam.

There's no canon evidence either way so while I've been having the things he holds fade from view in a the few threads where it comes up, that's absolutely not a hard or fast rule so we can definitely go with that angle!

I was totally thinking about offering up the drugs for someone else to find, because SHENANIGANS and I don't want to make it too easy for him to get his contraband. So something like that could work!

He'll be doing some smuggling of drugs/chemicals as well, so there's always a chance he could run afoul of Javert that way!

This sounds exceptional. I'm going to play it that Javert picked up Somnacin for a sleep-aid, things get intense out of hand from there, he might end up at a tavern with all the crazy ass shit that's plagued him in his sleep. Needless to say he won't look so great. That'd also be an opportunity to run into him--I'm planning to run into James Norrington in an Atam pub, too!

Quick Clarification before we go forward with this - is it the drug on its own or is the intravenous administration included? (Either way sounds bad if it's taken incorrectly)

Yeah I'm not sure if him actually taking the drug somehow would be very feasible - it's just the vials of (liquid) somnacin, no PASIV included.

If he tried to drink it or something man, idek. There's not a lot of canon information on it anyway, but I imagine at the very least it'd make him sick. If he found a syringe and just injected himself directly, I imagine he'd just be knocked out a while and possibly have some very *vivid* (perhaps lucid?) dreams.

YES that occurred to me when I looked up and realized that it came with no intravenous device so I am ALTERING THE IDEA THEN

He can still find the drug, and it would still lead to some interesting situations. I know he's going to pick up a box full of snuff at a tobacco-shop or a druggist or whoever sells it, when this shiny stuff catches his eye. Probably advertised as some foreign sleep-aid, fresh-picked, none of the merchants seem to know exactly what it does.

Alternatively, it could come in the briefcase, which I imagine has much more interesting stuff inside to look at, if Javert were to find it in a pawn shop somewhere. At the very least he could be looking it over at the aforementioned pub with interest, trying to figure out what it all does and means. He could possibly get this idea that arthur might be a drug trafficker from the ensuing conversation/whatever he gleans from the briefcase, especially considering his knowledge of written english is not the best.
