Itching to try out writing a character? Then rev up your engines, grab your accounts, and slam your way into this meme! Here is a venue for you to try out whatever character there might be tickling your fancy, from fandom to OC, for as few as one and as many as MANY. Seriously, there's no limit.

How do you partake in this fantastic congregation of character testing? Why, by following these simple steps:

1. Comment with the journal of a character you want to test; put their name and canon in the subject line for added sparkles.

3. Profit like you live on a the back of a turtle!

   Go nuts. Suddenly your character is fighting dragons! Good God, they've found the Millennium Falcon drifting in the ocean! Please note, Wildcard options are also what you can choose to do if you aren't yet comfortable in the Tu Shanshu setting and would prefer a more 'dear-mun' esque experience. Please specify in your post!

This marks the official start of the monthly test drive meme and, to celebrate, we're giving a new feature a shot. The first comment/thread on this test drive is going to be titled ENABLE ME and it's where you post character accounts/muselists, etc and others (members, passerbys, shoulder demons) can enable you to apply to Tu Shanshu! Come, let us enable you to the turtletastic madness!

[Jason has his hands inside of his pockets, strolling around the different districts in an attempt to help him clear his thoughts. The water sector is his least favorite , which is why he's put off exploring it for sometime. Eventually he came to the realization that he can't avoid it forever, so he decided to check it out.

Snaps out of his thoughts when he hears a familiar voice up ahead. Quickly moves closer to her, and raises a hand. The direction of the wind suddenly changes and the pagers begin to flutter back to her.]

Hey, Annabeth. Did I get all of them?

[sophos]

[She catches the shift in the wind as soon as it starts and quickly regathers her papers into her arms, opening the cover of her book to shove them inside safely. It's Jason's doing, she can just tell right away.]

[It's only when she hears him speak that she looks up, and even then, it's after she double checks to make sure all of the pages have indeed been returned.]

[Offers her a smile, although there's a hint of sadness in it. Whenever he sees Percy or Annabeth, he can't help but feel guilty. Sure, they're safe here but once they return home it's another story all together.] It's hard for him to not ruminate over things he could have done differently to stop the two of them from falling into the worst kind of darkness.]

What are you working on?

[If he was hoping she wouldn't notice that flash of sadness and everything else, he was wrong; Annabeth can read people like the back of her hand. But she's used to it from Leo at this point, so she ignores it. She still hasn't even seen it all happen herself.]

Just some building ideas. I really like the style in this sector.

I can see why you'd like it here. [While he might not be a fan of water, especially ocean water, if he was into architecture as much as Annabeth was, this would be right up his alley. Plus, she has other reasons to appreciate a sector like this.]

Would it be okay if I looked at a couple of the designs?

[She can feel a smirk growing on her face at that, but she quells it somewhat. Oddly, she and Percy spent more time in Metal, in her suite, than water and his. But there's genuine appreciation objectively for the architecture, too.]

Um, sure. Just don't let them fly away again. [And she pulls a couple of pages back out of the book, offering them over.]

If they do, I'll catch them again.

[Offers helpfully before he takes the pages from her. Takes a few minutes to study them. While he's no architect, as a Roman he has a great appreciation for architecture and it's many uses.]

These are great, Annabeth. You've got some amazing talent. [Smiles at her.]

Good use of your powers. [It's half teasing half not??]

[She waits while he looks them over, torn between watching him as he does and losing her attention to various things around her (fountains, kedan, you name it, it caught her). When he finishes, Annabeth can't help beaming with pride; she knows she's good, but it's always nice to hear it.]

You don't get to be Architect of Olympus without it.
