Itching to try out writing a character? Then rev up your engines, grab your accounts, and slam your way into this meme! Here is a venue for you to try out whatever character there might be tickling your fancy, from fandom to OC, for as few as one and as many as MANY. Seriously, there's no limit.

How do you partake in this fantastic congregation of character testing? Why, by following these simple steps:

1. Comment with the journal of a character you want to test; put their name and canon in the subject line for added sparkles.
2. Tag around with everyone!
3. Profit like you live on a the back of a turtle!

Please specify in your post!

This marks the official start of the monthly test drive meme and, to celebrate, we're giving a new feature a shot. The first comment/thread on this test drive is going to be titled ENABLE ME and it's where you post character accounts/muselists, etc and others (members, passerbys, shoulder demons) can enable you to apply to Tu Shanshu! [The sight of another d'Angeline face is enough to put a smile on Alcuin's- yes, it seems to be a Shahrizai, but she is still D'Angeline. He cannot judge if she has any ties with Melisande, whose treachery he has only heard of. She deserves courtesy.

[Oh my, such a delicate morsel. Roshana briefly imagined how beautiful he would look spread out on the wheel in the Shahrizai dungeon, and then waved the thought away.

It wouldn't do to frighten him on their first meeting, and she had more self-control than that. She bowed her head in greeting.]

My thanks. I had not expected the journey but it is good to see my countrymen even far from home.

[He would look very pretty, though that suits his foster-sister's desires more than his. He bows properly, then leans in to offer the kiss of greeting, if she will accept it.]

Foster-sister. [She nods to herself. So that confirms things.]

I have spent a summer fostered at Montreve with her family though I confess it was not nearly enough time to get to know her. She does indeed bring honour to the name. It seems presumptuous of me to say I am acquainted with a hero of the realm.

I have heard that Montreve is a lovely place. I hope that it was a pleasant summer. [Delaunay told him a little of his childhood, and he's heard that Phedre is comtesse now- and he's so proud of her.

Though he wonders what on earth a Shahrizai would be doing, fostered at Montreve.]
