meme | test drive!

Itching to try out writing a character? Then rev up your engines, grab your accounts, and slam your way into this meme! Here is a venue for you to try out whatever character there might be tickling your fancy, from fandom to OC, for as few as one and as many as MANY. Seriously, there's no limit.
How do you partake in this fantastic congregation of character testing? Why, by following these simple steps:
- Comment with the journal of a character you want to test; put their name and canon in the subject line for added sparkles.
- Tag around with everyone!
- Profit like you live on a the back of a turtle!
But wait, there's more! For the low, low price of $9,999.99, you can even use one of our handy prompts when you tag someone. You could even pick one with a Random Number Generator to help decide which prompt to go with!
- A Chance Meeting at the Turtle's Head.
Remember, being here causes a great sense of-- well, shall we say inner peace. - Haggling Over Something in the Marketplace!
Maybe someone else saw the exact same shiny thing you did at the exact same moment! However shall this be resolved? Remember: blood is extremely hard to scrub off of turtleshell! - Hey, I Just Met You, and This is Crazy...
First impressions are always the most important, right? - WILDCARD!
Go nuts. Suddenly your character is fighting dragons! Good God, they've found the Millennium Falcon drifting in the ocean! Do you really feel the need to polish every paving stone in the Earth Sector? Please note, Wildcard options are also what you can choose to do if you aren't yet comfortable in the Tu Shanshu setting and would prefer a more 'dear-mun' esque experience. Please specify in your post!
Yes, they are!
[Plus, the way this kid carried himself? The way he observed? He looked like he could be much older than the tiny - even compared to Damian's own size - figure suggested.]
[He moved to intercept him, keeping a careful eye on the boy, but carefully not trying to jostle him - or touch him at all.]
Did you arrive and get settled in your suite normally?
[Low voice, normal intonation. Unless anybody was specifically listening, nobody would pay attention.]
oh good, im never sure
The boy seems like he's trying to be friendly. Bean can do that, can play the friendly stranger. It's one more way to learn about his surroundings.]
Yes. The kedan were very helpful. Is it true we're all trapped here? ["And where is here?" he doesn't ask. Not yet. He'd likely just get more names of places and those aren't helpful without a map to put them in context. He has noticed the slight curve to the ground, how everything seems to slope downward in the distance. Maybe some sort of wheel, like the inverse of Battle School?]
I think currently Damian was youngest, though Gavroche may be coming in!
[And Damian... is being friendly, yes. He's just not very good at it.]
It is true that nobody has been able to return home on purpose. Apparently, we are supposed to save the world before we are released to return to our own worlds - and there are people coming from several worlds. And times. Although some people have disappeared, probably gone home, already - it just doesn't seem to have been voluntary, let alone intentional, on their sides.
[Damian hates being talked down to, like a child. So he doesn't do it to this boy, either.]
I have been here since August. It is now March.
Well Bean is 5 or 6 at his canon point, if I can pick one... he might win
I'd say I don't believe you, but that would be stupid. You obviously believe you're telling the truth, and nothing here disproves your statement.
[Bean doesn't much pay attention to the months, only if he needs to know when he's going to freeze to death. The past few months he's been in the climate controlled Battle School, so he's lost track of what month it may have been. It may well be March for him.]
So the kedan have the power to bring people here from off world? Other worlds? For the purpose of saving theirs. [That, at least, he's familiar with. He was being trained to save the Earth from the Buggers, after all.]
He would, yeah. Poor baby...
Hey, I'm not sure still if I believe it is real and not some sort of magic or virtual reality simulator, but that's how things present themselves, so far. And I've been here for months.
[And Damian doesn't sound happy about it.]
[Then he shakes his head.]
I don't think the kedan have that power. They are shape-shifters, but I haven't found them to have other abilities, this far. Well, shape-shifters and stronger-and-faster than baseline humans, but other than those.
It is the Emperor who has claimed to have brought us here, and she maybe possibly is the one with the power.
